After much deliberation and research, decided to get this pan as it was a good size for our family of 5, and as a fan of one pot cooking I was fed up of frying food that then sticks, and cooking curries, rice dishes and sauces on the hob then having to soak the pan for ages and messy scrubbing! Really I would have liked a stainless steel chef's pan but went for the non stick in the end due to limited options, since we have a couple of other Le Crueset items which have been great and stood the test of time. This pan is a thing of beauty to look at, and as so expensive it will be looked after! The instructions say to properly season it with oil and we are doing this religiously.

I finally parted with what I consider a large amount of cash for this pan. I've had it for a few months now and will happily say it's the best pan I've ever invested in - hands down. Worth every penny. It's actually a rare day that I don't use it. It's stupidly versatile. No matter what the recipe says, I find this does a better job. Super easy to clean no matter what I've been cooking. It's expensive, so it deserves looking after. Follow Le Creuset's use advice and I can see it'll last years. No metal utensils because of the coating.My only wish would be that they offer a uncoated option.

I’m not so sure about the even heat distribution. I am using an induction hob for the first time but I found that the area over the hob is much hotter than the areas further out. I find that the 3 ply metal just makes it take longer to warm up the pot but once it’s hot it’s not much different to a normal pot. My rice burnt at the bottom layer and it was very difficult to clean as the base blackened in a circular area which covered the hob. The pot is very stylish however, and has a good weight to it.

This is a brilliant pan.Le Creuset 3-ply stainless steel non-stick pans are brilliant for healthier cooking with little or no fat.The reinforced non-stick surface is tough and durable whilst offering excellent food release and ease of cleaning.This pan has an Improved metal utensil safe non stick surface.The handle does not get hot.The food cooks beautifully.Yes this pan is expensive....but if it lasts a lifetime it will have been worth it.Top quality pan

I love Le Creuset stainless pans, so feel free to dismiss me as the fanboy I clearly am. This pan is the bees-knees. It's ergonomic, sturdy and gets hotter than a radiator fitter in the desert. I use it all the time and have a smaller one that acts as a kind of sidekick to the this one. It also fits my induction hob perfectly.

I've bought a few of these as presents for people over the years, and all of the recipients love them. Or at least they tell me they do. I've used my mum's a few times and it's an excellent pan. Great for starting off dishes on the hob and then moving to the oven. Worth the money, but definitely look for offers.

Very pleased with this pan - have collection of their saucepans which are excellent and far better value in long term than cheaper pans. This one is brilliant for sauteing and stir frying. Depth means that even my wife now keeps everything in the pan and I do not have to spend time scraping stir fry off the hob.

I am happy to report that a very pleasant member of the customer services staff talked through my case on the phone and said they would replace it immediately. I am very happy with the result and the way they dealt with this problem. Rest assured they replace without quibble if it's faulty.

This is a try ply pan, heats up much faster than normal pans very useful on electric hob, and needs less energy to cook food, always a bonus. Have to be careful not to burn stuff which happens when you forget to cook on lower settings

I bought one of these in the largest size (28cm?) for a present and it's a great pan.I found mine on offer at a better price through a sponsored link to HartsOfSpur, was even better value.

HII love these saucepans, whilst they may cost a lot more they are worth it. They heat up fast saving you money but they also wash well even in the dishwasher.

followed the instructions regarding " conditioning " the surface with cooking oil and so far so good , the best non stick surface ever!

I have used this several times a week. Perfect heat distribution, good feel and weight. Durable non stick coating. my best pan

3ply that rivals allclad 5ply pans. Excellent price compared to the high street. Will return to buy more from the range.

Bought for my daughter- she finds it excellent for frying, stews etc and it goes in the dishwasher with no problem
