Hi, thought I would write about the first hours with my new 24 pot. Well, firstly I don't buy set's of pans only to use just one or two out the whole set or for show so only what I need. Thanks to amazon for delivering it without damage and pristine. So out the box immediately a lovely and weighty feel of quality and finish with a nicely weighted lid. The handles are nice and smooth with no rough bits and attached to pan and lid with proper stainless steels rivets. This purchase for me is an investment for a potential lifetime of cooking so yes its more expensive but you get top high grade materials and build quality.

These are excellent pans, they cook quickly and evenly with great control, are very well made and low maintenance. They are also well-balanced with easy-to-grip handles and not too heavy. Can't understand why stainless steel 3-ply cookware hasn't taken off.However, beware Le Creuset's 'free milk pan' offer! Despite reading the small print very carefully before buying, I have still failed to qualify because I missed one of the terms and conditions. I didn't buy all the pans in one transaction.Hence although I bought pans to the requisite value, avoided the sets (which are also not included) and bought them between the specified dates,

These pans are pure quality, polished finish is superb. However one point to note:- We purchase 6 pans 12years ago and used them almost every day in the dishwasher using Finish Liquid - no problems just had to polish now and then. Then Finish changed the formula and the liquid which no longer cleaned the dishes or pans, so 6months ago we switched to Fairy Platinum Lemon - BIG MISTAKE, we noticed after approx 5months the top lip of the pan which is aluminum was slowly been eaten away and left a sharp edge. We contacted LeCreuset Help line with pictures of the eroded lip under the lifetime warrenty and they replaced all our pans.

I got this to complement my Le Creuset saucepans in the same range, which I've had several years. The pans were excellent and this Casserole is too. I know Le Creuset products are expensive, but in the end they are worth getting. They are beautiful, a joy to use and last forever.

Love it. Good size and nice and heavy.Very good quality.So happy with it I also got the 3 pan set for Christmas as will as the non stick milk pan.Time will only tell how good it is in the long now. But for now it's perfect for soups, ham and making jam.

Light in weight but good size for large stews, and hams. Useful measure on the inside, which I haven't seen before on other pans

I have a similar one from DeBuyer, in the DeBuyer one the water for pasta heats up pretty quickly, in this one it takes ages

This is a lovely large pot. We bought it for a very good price on Amazon, when it was £175 in John Lewis. Saved about £71.

Good generous size for a small household. Not to heavy and washes very well. Can't fault it so far. Dishes cook very well.
