I have given these a 4 purely because they are not quite as big as I expected. My fault really as it gives the size in the description but I would have ideally liked slightly larger. These are very very good though despite this. The items feel like good quality and I absolutely love that they can go in the oven. Great for a cottage pie or casserole. The handle idea is genius as when anything is boiling and cooking, there is no need for a handle. It is recommended in the instructions to remove the handle when not in use and to be honest, seeing as most things start in the pan and on the hob cold, I don't tend to use the handle until I remove it from the heat and then take it straight back off.Twolittle things I have noticed is that the bottom of the middle sized pan has marked a little already in that I can sort of see a slight discolouration where the heat has got to the bottom of the pan. I have not and will not use metal utensils in these so it's not a scratch I'm referring to.The other thing, and something my husband noted, is that the handle could do with a rubber shield as it feels like the handle may mark the pans when it is clasped on to the side wall. This hasn't happened yet and I'm sure it probably won't but only time will tell. The best thing about these, and actually the reason I chose these was the ability to stack them into each other and place the lids on top. It is an absolutely brilliant idea and saves so much space.Highly recommend these.

I bought a set of these pans to use in the motorhome due to the space-saving design but enjoyed using them so much that they get used in the house too.The non-stick works very well. After two years of daily use the pans are showing wear and tear around the rim when the removable handle attaches but it has not affected the usability.I never bother to put the pans in the dishwasher because they come clean so easily when hand washing. The handle still operates well and I always remove it during cooking. The saucepans double up as cake tins and bread bakes beautifully in them too.Because the lids have a cut-out to accommodate the handle, a lot of steam escapes during cooking. In the motorhome in order to keep moisture down I'm using universal lids instead. (Culinario - Universal Glass Lid with Vent & Silicone Rim)I've not found the steamer insert to be successful for the same reason; the 26cm lid used with the steamer insert simply lets too much steam escape and reduces efficiency. I fashioned a "bung" out of Sugru for the handle cut-out but because the design of the rubber-coated lid makes it sit proud of the steamer pan, water still boils away too quickly.I have now bought a universal steamer that sits on top of the three small saucepans and it's far more successful (Judge 2-in-1 Steamer Colander, Silver, 2 cm)The food saver lids are a brilliant addition to the range.

I don't usually write reviews but I felt I needed to for these - they are seriously good.We needed some new non stick pans for our very small kitchen, to replace our 10 yr old copper bottomed non nonstick pans.Firstly, the way they stack is genius. They have taken up a quarter of the space we previously used in our cupboards. We no longer have to balance our lids too. The amount of times I'd open my cupboard and the old lids would crash down.I still can't get over how good the non stick is. Washing up is so easy now, and cooking is becoming a doddle. No faffing with changing pan to pot, they all go in the oven. Just genius.I've stopped using oil as nothing is sticking!I've clicked on to taking off the handle quite quickly,so so far, no problems with the hem melting like previous reviews. My husband's concern was the click on handles and how well they will hold the pans. I have to say, they really feel firm. They have a 10 yr guarantee or the mechanism too, which is good.I haven't used the plastic lids yet, so can't comment.I really like how the saucepan lid has a small space (for the handle to clip on) for steam to escape. No more bubbling wobbly lids.I just need to purchase the strainer lid and pasta strainer now. I might even buy some more pans and get rid of some of my baking trays.

Product came in one piece! Used it twice since I bought it. Seems sturdy enough. The snap on and off handle is really handy, I use the pans on my electric cooker and it works well. People are commenting about their handles not lasting long or that it melts due to heat. But the guide clearly states that handle should not be left on whilst using on stove top and I normally use mitts rather than handle if it is just to hold it in place when stirring the pot. Some also mentioned the bottom peeling off? Looking at it it is smooth and finished nicely so not sure what that is about, unless people are putting it in a 500 degrees furnace I wouldn’t worry too much.Butterfly handles on lid is really handy as they can be folded down flat to save space. The large pan depending on what kind of food you’re cooking will make 6 portions (based on a rice dish). So if you need cooking for 6 or more people then the size may not be big enough?Lastly the price on amazon is a lot cheaper than any other high street stores that sells these! Even if you have to purchase lids and handle separately.Overall I’m happy with these and would recommend if you lack storage space or have a small kitchen.

I am happy with this saucepan setI keep them neatly in my cupboard, I've used the cardboard packing separators that came with the pans, this will stop them clunking together and scratching the non-stick coating. The handle seems ok, I've used it a good few times and it hasn't damaged any pans, it's a bit awkward to clean sometimes if food gets underneath the part that clamps on and it's not recommended to leave the handle attached during cooking so it's a bit of a pain to have to keep attaching and detaching during use. It's worth it though for the extra cupboard space. The lids seem to fit fine and stack neatly on top of each other to save space,no more opening the cupboard door and pan lids falling out all over the place. The coating is still like new just as I would expect from Tefal.I have a ceramic hob now but know from past experience that if you have a cooker with gas rings you may find the pans are easy to topple over when the handle is attached, feels a bit handle heavy, especially with the smallest pan. When my frying pans get older, and if the handle continues to work as expected, I plan to buy the frying pan set too so I can save even more space.

I was brought these as a gift, and I have to say they are absolutely amazing.I must admit I don't use them to their full potential as it's very rare I put them in the oven. The non stick is brilliant, and they are so easy to clean after use. The downside is they cannot go in the dishwasher, but they don't take long to hand wash. The handles are great and they store very neatly. These are a brilliant concept, and although may prove a bit of a fad, I absolutely love them.We only have 2 handles, but this is plenty as you just move them around.I love the idea that you can buy different strainer lids for the pans, but I do kind of wish they came with one.The saucepans are a good size, and it's very rare I need to use the biggest Ines, and I feed a family of 6!They came very nicely packaged, and were wrapped in the box really well. They might seem expensive, but they are worth every penny. The only thing I would say is don't use metal utensils in them as this will scratch the non stick. I use wood or plastic.Brilliant product!!

We bought these primarily because our previous Tefal pan set had lost it's non-stick after 7 years of hard use. But what drew us to the Ingenio range specifically was how compactly it stored and what seemed like a safety feature of no handles to knock with kids running around your feet. There was one concern that the detachable handle may not fit soundly enough, and would therefore be more rather than less dangerous. This is not the case. It fits so securely that it feels like a normal handle. That you only need to attach it when you finish cooking frees up lots of space on the hob and prevents the risk of knocking a hot pan on the floor. The lids are another impressive feature.Rather than being glass sat within a metal "frame", they have a silicone edge. This gives a snug fit when they are on the pans, and are really great for draining as they have enough friction to be stay in place easily.Really great set of pans, useful sizes, clever handle, compact storage and good lids. Highly recommended.

I was very dubious having read some of the previous reviews regarding the handle on these pans, but took the plunge and bought a set which we have used in the caravan. Absolutely great pans, easy to clean, brilliant for the caravan as storage is so easy. I did wonder if the handle would be robust enough to be lifting a potentially heavy pan, but fixes well and feels very solid. I haven't had any problem with the clip mechanism scratching the pans, you just need to be a bit careful when attaching. The only negative is as another reviewer mentioned - the lid can only go on the pan one way to accommodate the handle, and the pouring lip is opposite so it's practically impossible to drain. The pouring lip would be better situated on one side - Tefal, please note. Overall, absolutely delighted with these pans and would recommend.

Tremendous cooking pots.I am trying to cut down on storage solutions anyway & these popped into view.Good brand as I've been using their products for years but the idea of a detachable handle is great. Practical & cuts right down on storage space.Cooking a stroganoff for the first use, I cooked the meats on the gas while them placing the entire pot into the oven to bake. Worked a treat & especially good when the handle was used both to place it in & remove it from the oven. Safe & practical. The ONLY slight thing I'd change is to add some curvature to the glass lids, as the flat style used steams up too easily & there's no way for it to drain off - a pain when cooking rice as I need to see water levels.Brilliant design & grab yourself a spare handle too, just in case you get busy.

Absolutely fantastic. The parcel delivery was on time and we'll packaged .The items are brilliant. Makes hob to over cooking so easy and simple. Very convenient . Simply remove the pan handle and place on another pan or skillet . Being handle free makes the pan a multi purpose unit, I've using the largest one as a roast tin, and an oven chips baker , hob top gravy pan . Ive used the large pan as a cassarole pot , I've used the small saucepan as a bread baking tin, a cake tin, ban offer pie tin. Pan and steamer works well . The lids are glass with silicon rim so worktops don't suffer if lid put on work surfaces. The pans can also go in the fridge- I cooked chicken last night and left the remaining amount in a covered pan my fridge .I will make risotto later .Fantastic quality .

so my husband had a bee in his bonnet about new saucepans! God knows why but he was adamant we needed them so off online I went and came up with these. Loved the fact they came without lids, as I only use the lid to pour off the water or liquid from cooking, and i only have limited space so I needed something that was compact and I used. Bought a second handle as I knew it would be useful and got three pans no lids. Well I have to say I'm really impressed! They clean up like a dream! I just cooked chicken n vegetables in one like a stir fry and boiled pasta in another one and the meal was excellent! No more leaving pans to soak! Plus they fit in my cupboard with enough room to have a strainer instead of lids!Fantastic purchase! And i shall be using alot more! Well done tefal!

These Pans, along with the 2 Frying Pan Set, are a revelation for me.I have always used Cast Iron Cookware, and, now that I am approaching 70, I decided it was time to scale down in weight. I already have a Tefal Frying Pan, which I have owned for at least 25 years, and it is still as good as new. I think that that should be testament enough for the durability of Tefal products. The concept of removable handles is not new, it is used extensively by the Camping, and Caravan, fraternity. However, to utilise it in the Domestic Arena is a brilliant move. Who has struggled to store conventional pots and pans, because of the handles? These Tefal products take up minimal space, and the Handles? well, they get bunged in the drawer!!! Cooking with these products is a delight.

These are nice enough pots and the space-saving element is a great fator, but those with a dishwasher should note the following:* These are not 100% dishwasher safe. They are only dishwasher safe if, according to the care guide, you use a liquid or powder cleaning agent, as tablets contain powerful chemicals that can ruin the non-stick. The care guide recommends hand washing and I can see why, as just one run in the dishwasher (wiht powder) has discoloured them slightly.* The care guide says the handle must NOT be cleaned in the dishwasher, despite a promtional image I have seen that suggests the contrary.Apart from this, no reason not to get these, especially if you are tight for space.

I bought these for my camping box, for use for car camping (They are way too heavy ofr carrying on your back!)They are perfect. Proper saucepans for cooking proper meals, to keep the family happy and well-fed.The lids and pans nest really nicely together, and because the handle is detachable with a quick-release and quick click-to-tighten mechanism, when stacked they take up hardly any more space in the gear-box than the lightweight MSR back-packing cookset that we were using previously.I have put a layer of bubble-wrap between each pot when stacked, just to protect them.Fabulous. Can't wait to get out and cook with them. Which we are going to do tonight, in the garden!

A few months in and I love these pans! I also purchased the Wok and I have to say they all cook and clean like a dream and no more kitchen storage nightmares. The steamer is amazing, a fantastic size for a family of four, and wouldn't get a set without one. Was worried about chipping, due to the remove able handles, after reading other reviews, but so far so good. Dropped a star because the lids don't seem to fit some of the pans very well and the plastic tops are useless, they don't fit securely and pop back off, but overall, these really are minor issues. Just wish they did some slightly bigger pans to make cooking for extended family and friends a little bit easier!
