Great grill, far better than other brands I have owned. It is programmable for different types of meat. The machine knows the thickness of the food & will beep at various stages of cooking to indicate rare, medium etc. Takes away guess work. No undercooked or overcooked food.No hot spots/cold spots.Doesn't dry out meat to leather but drips away excess fat.Can cope from thin meat like bacon to a thick burger.Excellent non-stick - easiest I have ever had to clean.I use this a lot. Great product.

We love it. Not perfect but still worth 5 stars. PRO: Fantastic steak, wonderful salmon, delicious burgers and lovely sausages. Seriously restaurant quality.CON: It will not recognise bacon. Says 'too thin' I have written to Tefal and await their reply.Took a while to fully understand how to use it but it was worth the time.I am colour blind so would have been happier with the indicator lights showing numbers instead of colours but I can manage because of the bell. OVERALL. Delighted.

Where do i start with how great this grill really is. First of all, top marks to the delivery service provided by argos.Now the grill. Its this simple...Turn it on, select the required food type your going to cook, press ok and wait for it to heat up. It beeps to tell you its heated up. Put food on and depending what food it is it tells you when its done. That simple. Ive cooked steaks, chicken, lamb, pork, sausages and burgers plus more and its been brilliant. Literally cooks it for you.

Wanted the tefal optigrill for a long time and decided to go ahead and purchase it,used a george foreman before and wasn't impressed at all seemed to burn everything on the outside to get the food cooked in the middle,however the optigrill is sooooo much better cooked steak and bacon to perfection,Gammon and bacon are fantastic,the cooking plates are easily removed and clean way better than the George foreman,I am really pleased with the optigrill and would highly recommend anyone getting one,

Tefal OptiGrill, firstly it is quite large, so make sure you have got enough space in your cupboard for it, it cooks chicken brilliantly, I have cooked fresh and frozen, obviously it takes a little longer to cook frozen, but not much longer, only had it a little while, so haven’t cooked many other things on it apart from sausages, now the only thing with cooking them is, yes all the fat runs away from the sausages, so very healthy for you, but they just don’t taste the same as frying them

Lots of programmes enabling Automatic grilling which it does well. Takes a while to warm up. Outperforms my combination microwave grill.Useful Easily detachable grill plates. Easily emptied drip tray. They make a big thing of draining the fat away form the food to give you a healthy meal. However, doesn’t the fat drain away on any grill?Unfortunately will not store vertically so it’s not practical to leave out between uses.A useful addition to the kitchen armoury.

So pleased with the Optigrill, it’s intelligent system senses the thickness of the food and cooks it perfectly. Quick, safe, easy to use, mess free and easy to clean with the removeable plates that just click in and out. I love that you can take something out of the freezer with no planning ahead and just pop it in the grill, so speedy at supper time. Brilliant for toasties at lunchtime, chicken, fish, burgers, bacon sandwiches... i’ve even cooked eggs on it.

Had this for 2 years. Excellent grill and results except only had to change it twice at argos because after a while and using few times for some reason grill kept on going to "M" manual mode only and none if the grill functions worked. Argos been exceklent undet product cover replaced grill twice with the new one. Excellent grill either way and best we had. Saves us tons of money making steak burgers and grill products at home. 5 star

This needs lots of space. It is massive and looks more than a potential weapon than a cooking utensil. Too heavy for the latter either!It grills beautifully though and has an excellent timer and facility to know when food is cookedCan not do vegetarian and meat at the same time. No divisionsGo for a less expensive more straightforward product and spend the money on s night in a five star hotel. It is that expensive!

I purchased this to replace an ageing George Foreman grill. This is far superior! Easy to use. The different settings for red/white meat and fish etc take the guess work out of timing, and cooking everything to perfection. The removable grill trays are an added bonus for cleaning., simply put in the dishwasher (if you have one). It may seem a little expensive compared to other products, but certainly worth every penny!

Bought to replace our dear old George Foreman grill of many years old. Thought the new grill with its blackpool illuminations was rather gimmicky? but NO! this appliance is superb,and ideal for all food types.The light displays and function all have a specific use in addition to cook alarms when food ready. The cooking plates easily unclick for removal and cleaning. A very useful addition to the kitchen.....

Very happy with the grill . I have put trust in the preset programs for meat , fish and vegetables all done to perfection much to my surprise. A good bit of kit will use a lot . I would advise to use near a extractor fan or cooker extractor! But first class ! And good services from Argos Crayford. Ps have also used the manual setting for parathas and chapatti from frozen for the grandchildren quick snack . 10/10

This grill has a good cooking area but as a result takes up quite a bit of space on your worktop. The sensor works well with the colour indicator showing how cooking is progressing so no need to take a peek. Using the Frozen Button I didn't notice any difference between sausages cooked from fresh or those cooked from frozen. It is easy to keep clean with removable plates and no leakage from the drip tray.

This gadget is a must , it looks great and cooks food to perfection , the burgers come out moist and not dried , I have cooked bread in it with the chees in side for the kids and they love it , very healthy grill, I love the lights and it beebs to tell you the food is cooked , I've bough the first generation model , I loved that so much I upgraded to the 2nd generation model which has the thermometer ,

This is grill is simply the best grill ever, I've always been using George's foreman one but my hubby wanted this one and now I will never again buy foreman one.It's so easy to use, easy to clean, and so clever telling u when meat is ready , perfect for steak ... Bit expensive but would but it again and again, just love it, I. Cooking all different meals everyday with this grillHighly recommended x
