Great little microwave pan, works a treat. When it arrived I was initially disappointed. It felt like it was constructed from a very cheap plastic. You know the kind, feels hard, no bend at all, but very light. My first thought was ugh! However, I decided to try it out in the microwave as there were so many positive reviews on here for it and also there were no other microwave pans available to buy from here, so if I sent it back, I wouldn't have one and I needed one.Well, its a dream to use. I have used it so far to cook Carrots & Broccoli in the microwave and other vegetables. Its great for warming up a can of sweetcorn and perfect for that tin of beans you need to heat.No stains, you can vent with the lid and it has pouring lips which meant that when I had heated up my can of sweetcorn, I could just twist the lid a little, to expose the tiny gaps and pour out the water. No need to cause extra washing up by needing to use a colander to drain. So, whilst it feels quite cheaply made, its a cracking little microwave pan.RECOMMENDED!

I can't fault this lovely pan which has been specifically designed for use in the microwave. It is an ideal size for heating up the typical sorts of things that I would microwave such as baked beans or a soup. The lid fits flush and securely and this prevents the splashes that can otherwise escape during heating. This saucepan is completely transparent which means that you can literally keep your eye on the progress of your cooking without having to keep opening the microwave door and peering inside the container.Another really useful feature is that the pan lid can be adjusted to provide a vent. This allows steam to escape during prolonged cooking, whilst still being able to keep a lid on things.Although it is made from plastic,I anticipate that it should last if treated with reasonable care. I had a similar pan which lasted for a couple of years, and it probably would have lasted even longer if I hadn't used the dishwasher to clean it. So I expect I would be best positioned on the top shelf of the dishwasher to minimise wear.

Imagine a winters evening snuggling down to watch the television and you just need a little something to have as a filler.Tomato soup (57 type!) of course and this little pan!I have a smallish 800w microwave and this pan fits into the microwave well with the handle not causing any rotation issues.I’ve not filled it completely but bought it use with soup and other tinned products and it does the job perfectly. With its good fitting, but not airtight, lid soups, beans, custards etc can all be heated/cooked without the risk of pouring over. It is also very good for making porridge which does get “excited” when cooking. The pan is very sturdy and easy to clean. The plastic had discoloured slightly around the centre of the pan but given its usage I’m not surprised. At the price this a great and very useful pan which I would highly recommend. Now where do I put the Worcester sauce.Keep safe.

Love this - really useful and more substantial than I had anticipated, although I would suggest you do need to be pretty careful still. Locks in smells, doesn't appear to stain and generally does exactly what you would expect it to do.Edited addition: I've had this for 2.5 years now and it's still just as good, although the lid does unfortunately have a crack in it. I've found it's most useful use is for par-boiling potatoes and chips for roasting - just cut up as usual add to the lidded pan making sure the the lid fits into its slots, don't add water, miccrowave for 5 minutes and Voila! Great for microwaving veg by the same method - no need for liquids veg is perfect every time.Am about to order another couple but wish there was a bigger size for larger family meals.

I purchased this microwave saucepan for my mother in law, who has Parkinson's and finds it difficult to lift anything heavy or hot. This is so simple but so practical that I have since bought another for myself. Basically, it is an extremely light saucepan. You can twist the lid (very easily, you will be able to use this even if you have very limited mobility in your hands) either to close the saucepan and store food, or to open it slightly for microwave use. Once food is warmed in the microwave, the handle, which stays cool, allows removal of the saucepan easily. It washes easily and is very light and easy to use. Useful for any kitchen, but especially if you have problems lifting heavy dishes.

Though it's made of a clear plastic it seems quite sturdy. I've previously had a succession of 600ml microwave saucepans, which though fine while they lasted only lasted a few months before cracks developed or the handle came off.The extra size of this 900ml model means the plastic is thicker. especially around the base of the handle. One thing I use it for is heating 400g tins of soup, which is the standard large size. This fills the pan less than half full, so it's not very stressed and it heats evenly. The lid design is good too, as rotating it allows you to open or close the two pouring lips at the side.

A bonus on these pots is that they are brilliantly non stick, the contents glide off and they swill off completely clean. Another bonus is the nifty lid which can be used so that the pour lips are covered or open so that it is ventilated. It is very well designed. The weak point on a previous model was the handle which takes quite a lot of leverage and fractures appeared after a time. This has been solved in this model by reinforcing which, whilst it makes washing a drying a bit more challenging, does address the problem and it will not break down so readily. Totally recommended.

Works really well. Nothing ever sticks and the price is definitely right. I was a bit worried that the saucepan might get damaged or scratched or discoloured/go opaque in the dishwasher as happens to so many plastic items. However I have put this through the dishwasher at least 10 times and so far it seems to be as good as new. If you use the microwave at all you should try this. Once you have used it a few times you will want another for use when the first is in the dishwasher and you will wonder how you ever managed without a microwave saucepan! Highly recommended.

This is used all the time in my house. Light weight and sturdy with two sided draining. Pan is quite a good size and you can get a lot in - we use this mainly for cooking beans and frozen veg in the microwave. Very easy to clean and totally dishwasher safe.Only one slight negative, I ordered two of these and one of them arrive discolored, a slightly off white orange colour. The other is clear. from reading other reviews it appears there was maybe a batch of slightly off coloured ones. It hasn't impacted my use of the item at all.

This saucepan arrived very quickly (in fact next day), no problems with packaging etc. Hubby thought it didn't seem very substantial but after having used it for heating up Indian meals, baked beans etc. he is very impressed and is threatening to purchase another one. The beauty of it is that it doesn't stain, we have had lots of microwave dishes in the past but they all stain and look horrible (with Indian it doesn't take long) also it goes into the dishwasher with no problems at all. Great product, good price.

A great product that does exactly as advertised. It does not stain or stick. None of my carers had ever used such a product before, and are very impressed by it. If absolutely necessary, I can also safely cook small amounts of food in it, as it is not heavy to use. An important point when you have limited use of your hands. Wish I had known about this item sooner. When my carers use it, they can get a surprising amount of food into it, and they find the two-sided drainage for unwanted liquids very good.

ONLY BEEN USING THEM FOR A WEEK BUT THEY ARE A LOT BETTER THAN THE ONES I HAD BEFORE. I HOPE THEY DONT CRACK LIKE MY OLD ONES DID. I am updating this post as I am so pleased with this little pot. I bought a couple of them in Oct 2016 thinking that they would not last. boy was I wrong I am still using the first one I opened the rest are still boxed and in my cupboard. Granted the pot is a little discoloured with heating up beans tomato soup etc but for what they cost me the pots have been well worth it

900ml capacity clear plastic microwave saucepan that has been in constant use since I bought it a week or so ago. Very pleased with it, not least with the simple vent system allowing more or less steam to escape just by turning the lid round. The handle seems quite robust too, with very little flexing even when the pan is full. Good for storage in the fridge too for leftovers. Been through the dishwasher, no problems, and no issues so far with staining of the plastic - recommended

Bought this a few weeks after purchasing a similar one from this site but a different make and the other was a pound cheaper. The other one cracked along the bottom after a few uses hence this purchase. This saucepan however is working well and we do use it alot as I heat frozen peas in it and make scrambled egg alot. It also has a lid which after cooking you can turn around so it keeps all of the heat in. A good saucepan for the money - wish I'd bought it first time round.

I did notice the slight sheen that others mentioned but don’t mind it. I had a similar clear one for a few years and was very happy with it until it finally cracked. I replaced it with a red one which seem to be made of a different material and despite assurances to the contrary did start showing signs of colour staining and mottling with use. This one is made of the same material as my original one and does not stain. I like the spout covers on the lid. Would recommend.
