So I got this set of pans in the Amazon sale for a very, very low price so I may be somewhat biased to these. I'm not sure if I had paid the full price I would be as enamoured with them as I am today however I will try to keep the retail price in mind when reviewing.First off the pans are sublime looking, I think they look great in the Anodised Black and Silver Handles. They look very professional and with them you can pretend you know what you are doing in the kitchen and impress your friends and neighbours.the box they come in is pretty standard and absolutely nothing of note. I was expecting these to come in a high end box but it's really not impressive at all.Go to your local cookware store and any panset box you see on the shelf is the same as this one. We didn't buy the pans for the box of course but thought I would mention it.The feel of the pans is great. They have a nice finish to them and as mentioned look great. They are really, really heavy though. I'm not joking, if you fill them with water to boil something they feel like you are lifting a cast iron girder. OK, so maybe not that heavy but the biggest pot, when making soup I HAVE to use two hands to lift it, same with the medium pan when it's full. If you have weaker wrists be very careful of these. I am also very careful when placing them on the induction hob as I would imagine it would be very easy to smash the glass with one of these. With all the heft though comes excellent thermal performance. I haven't gone and got a heat gun and measured it or anything but when used on my induction hob, with the lid on the pot I can boil a litre of water almost as fast as I can with the kettle. Maybe I should do the experiment on that one? The heat seems to be nice and evenly spread too, so no obvious hotspots or anything like that. The non-stick is absolutely brilliant, even after about 6 months or so. One of the pans looks like the non-stock is degrading a little but it's still super easy to clean, with some Fairy Platinum these wash off in seconds no matter what have cooked in them. Don't be afraid of the ridges on the bottom, they aren't canyons by any means so food does not get stuck in there whatsoever. I ONLY hand was these pots, they have never seen the inside of the dishwasher. I also ONLY use wooden or rubber utensils so as to take care of the non-stick surface and maintain the lifetime guarantee, which is yet to be tested. If I have an experience with the LTG I will update the review accordingly. Some negatives to mentions I suppose, to keep a balance n all that. The weight is an issue and will be a real drawback to some. I see that the benefits outweigh this but for some it may be a complete deal breaker. The frying pan has a small chip on it where I knocked it with one of the other pans when putting it away so it's durability is in question although it's not impacted the performance of the pan at all. They are expensive, even with the LTG they cost lots. I would have been happy to have paid full price I think, but I didn't so can't be sure. The value to you will have to be something you judge for yourself.Overall I highly recommend these, even at their high price. If the LTG is worth the paper these are printed on then so long as you follow the guidance for using and maintaining these then it's a one time purchase of a set of pots which will last you a lifetime. They cook wonderfully and look great, a real compliment to your kitchen and will of course boost your cooking skills by at least 92%*I would buy them again should I have the need, but hopefully that LTG is good and I won't need to, maybe as a gift or something.*92% cooking claim is based purely on fiction and was entirely made up based on no facts at all. Cooking skill depends entirely on how many episodes of Hell's Kitchen you have watched and how fancy your cooking knives are.

When I originally saw these, I was a little put off by the photos showing damage with peeling non-stick surfaces. Then on reading the reviews, seeing some people were complaining they weren't that great and had problems with getting help from Circulon in light of the "lifetime guarantee".I bought them back in January and first thing I did was to go and track them down on Twitter (how did we manage before the Internet?). I seem to remember although I can't be sure, that somebody said they were unhelpful there or there was some issue or other which is why I went to look for myself.Either way, at the time I could see they were responding to people tweeting them directly for help.Obviously I have no idea what happens if they go to DM or outside of Twitter, but they seemed responsive and willing to help. So I couldn't understand why people were having so many issues. In the end, I bough them for a good price, I had originally been planning to buy the Jamie Oliver Tefal pans, but they were more expensive at the time and also the reviews of those were just as hit and miss as well.In the end, I figured that I preferred the look of these pans and of course it helped they were much cheaper at the time.I remember a saying from years ago "they'd turn up to the opening of an envelope" to suggest that Z-list Big Brother "celebs" would milk it for all it was worth on exiting the house. However in this case it's not so much about personal publicity as it is relying on the Jamie Oliver "brand" to sell cookware.Yes my experience of Tefal is from their cheaper cookware and yes they did the job. But I wanted something nicer with a more professional feel and better quality. I can't help but feel having looked at the Jamie Olive Tefal range in store previously before Covid, that I couldn't justify why they were so much more expensive than other 'Hard Anodized Cookware'. I can only assume that slapping the Jamie Oliver name on them means he gets a large royalty check and that has to be paid somehow. These Circulon pans on the other hand aren't relying on a celebrity chef to sell them and if potential customers were to rely on the negative reviews to make an informed judgement. They'd even go out of business or need to sign up Heston or Gordon Ramsey quick sharp to sway people's opinions. But personally, I've been using them for two months. I never put them in the dishwasher because they're so easy to clean in the sink with some detergent and hot water, you just don't need to risk them going through the dishwasher. Even when I'm burnt food in the pan, it always comes off quite easily.Next up, I've never used metal spoons or anything else metallic in the pans, I've always used plastic ones which I previously used in my old Tefal cookwares. So I don't have scratches on any of them, none of the non-stick surface is coming away or showing any signs that it wants to.I've used these on a daily basis for 2 months now and I'm as happy today as I was when they arrived and I got them out of the box. The handles are great, the lids are great. They're also a lot deeper than my old Tefal ones they have replaced which has been especially useful as I can fit so much more in.Remember, this is my limited experience and I'm not doubting others experience of them or how they've used them. If they say they've not done anything that could have damaged them such as the dishwasher, metal spoons, left on the hob with high heat with no water or oil in them, etc. Then I guess they may have got unlucky or it's a matter or when, not if, mine will go the same way and I'll cause to come back and update my own review. But until then, it's not happened yet so 5 stars it is and I'm very happy that I ignored the bad reviews and bought them when I did.

It's difficult to give these a star rating, because if you take into account value, this set could push five. It's a quality set --- thick steel bases, nice cast handles, solid lids that fit well, and so on. The fry results are almost like cast, and the big saucepan has a second handle for lifting. Some here have complained about the handles getting hot on the lids even when used on the hob, and there's some truth in that. These people shouldn't be mocked, because so many sets today have different systems which don't get hot (even those with metal handles), so these pans may go against expectations. The Circulon 'high-low system' is a bit weird when it comes to pushing a spatula across a fry pan -- feels a bit odd as it's ribbed, and isn't as smooth as usual. The lids don't have vents, but I don't mind leaving them ajar as the situation demands. I wouldn't be surprised if some would rather have a larger 26 cm fry pan than the bigger one offered at 24 cm. Looks-wise, it's a good looking set, the lids fit flush and the build quality and finish look good. One thing I take exception to - "outlasts all other non-sticks guaranteed": the manufacturers claim to have a triple coating by DuPont, which makes it a Teflon variant; which makes the 'outlasting' claim nonsense, because I have ceramic-titanium pans with five layer constructions under the coating now 12 years into use and working great, and I know these Circulon pans won't touch them -- and hardly any surprise at up to £200 a pan for the better stuff. So, to sum up, for the price this is an excellent set with good cooking qualities and build quality, and looks good too. There are a lot of value sets out there which are false economy, and I would say that this is a serious (though not premium), well-built set that presents excellent value. A tip on making them last (besides don't overheat, occasionally season with oil after use, don't dish wash, don't pour cold water into hot pans or likewise rinse hot pans, but do let them cool to warmish and then give them the soapy water): get some solid stainless steel pans that aren't non-stick, because many jobs don't need it: you'll save wear on your non-sticks, they really do go from stove to oven at high heat, and if you don't buckle them when empty over a high heat, they will be good for your great grandchildren. I'll report back after extended use; I'm curious to see how the non-stick coating holds up -- the 'high-low' system claim is that less of the pan surface comes into contact with tools to ease wear and tear, but to my mind that means that the higher parts will get a lot more buffeting, so we shall see...UPDATE: more than a year later, looking at the 20 cm skillet, which is my most used pan in this set. The non-stick is as good as ever, and taking into account that I'm a careful user, there are no real signs of wear. Pretty good!Update Update!!! -- here I am in 2015, 3 years on. That 20 cm skillet is still in use and used most days -- the children fry their own eggs in it when I'm out. Certainly it has taken abuse (they melted a nylon spatula over the rim just yesterday!) and the coating isn't quite as slick as it used to be, but it's in great condition for the use it has had. For yourself and for budding child/teenage cooks, I'd buy two of these for starters! The rest of the set is of course in great condition, being less used and less abused. Since my best pans cost as much each as this whole set, I didn't expect these to be doing so well, but they have exceeded my expectations and remain very pleasant to cook with. A bargain in terms of price-quality/performance ratio, and a very smart buy.

I purchased these pans in February of this year; we needed induction compatible pans you could put in the oven and these fit the bill, and I can confirm I have absolutely no regrets these pans have been absolutely fantastic. Based on their performance we have bought more from the same Circulon infinite range (including additional saucepans, frying pans and the chef’s pan). The set contains:1 x 20cm saucepan with lid1 x 18cm saucepan with lid1 x 16cm saucepan with lid1 x 24cm frying pan1 x 20cm frying panThings I like about these pans:- They work on induction which was our main reason for buying them (they also work on every other hob type)- Their heat transference is very even, they rival our Le Creuset pans that we have but these aren’t as heavy, although they do still have a good weight to them (just not as unwieldy as a Le Creuset cast iron pan)- Their non-stick properties are excellent, we’ve not had anything stick yet to either the interior or exterior of these pans (all pans are coated both inside and out with a non-stick coating), I’ve burnt plenty of the sugar in these and it’s always washed off with minimal effort.- You can put them in the oven thanks to their handles being oven proof entirely as made from stainless steel – oven safe up to 240 degrees Celsius.- They hand wash very well and moreover are very easy to clean: ours honestly look as good as the day we bought them but we have never put them through the dishwasher, though they are dishwasher safe it is recommended to hand wash (as it is with any high quality cookware). We have since purchased an additional 18cm and 20cm saucepan from the range as well as a larger frying pan as these really are all we use now when cooking, our poor Le Creuset pans don’t really see the light of day anymore.Since buying this set I have bought more silicone kitchen wear to protect these pans as I am concerned they might scratch, yet to date, even with the occasional metal spoon scraping them out, they have yet to get a mark on them. All in all I am extremely impressed. The 5 pan set represents fantastic value and is a good all-round set in terms of the size combinations. No criticisms whatsoever, if you enjoy cooking these pans will be a welcome addition to your kitchen.

Had these for almost a year and for the most part delighted. On the positive side:They look great, as sexy and sleek as saucepans can I guessThey are very versatile, working with all common heat sources and future proofed for inductionVery even heat distribution, haven't found any hot spots causing food to burnSuperbly easy to clean. Although they claim to be dishwasher proof (hmm given a few years of repeated dishwasher cycles I think almost everything suffers) I have found that nothing has stuck to them requiring more than the sponge side of a pad to get off.On the negative sideHandles and lids get hot. As there is no thermal block between the saucepan and the lid or handle, heat can spread through them.If cooking for a long period or with a very strong flame the lid quickly gets too hot to hold without a protective layer (tea towel, silicon mitt etc). The handles take longer to get too hot but are similarly affected. In the end we bought some silicon sleeves for the handles and use a tea towel for the lids. Also since the rim of the pans is a non stick coated edge and the lid is stainless steel, eventually the uniform Matt dark grey of the coating gets worn off leaving a not too ugly but still less than ideal shiny strip along the top edge of the pans. Never use metal on non stick surfaces!Overall we love them despite these minor foibles. They'll last for years and years I think and we are prepared to put up with the hot handles and shiny edge, but Circulon could make these perfect with the judicious application of 50pence worth of non heat conductive material on the handle joints and rim of the lids.Still gets 4 stars due to the sheer quality, ease of cleaning, looks and cooking performance.

These circulon saucepans are a dream to use. They come clean so easily without soaking or scrubbing. I have been using a set for years. They are however not perfect. I did burn some rice in one and to this day I cannot remove the entire residue from the saucepan and the attempts to do so have reduced the effectiveness of the coating. These are heavy but solid and very well made, they do disperse the heat around the entire saucepan quickly and efficiently but cook carefully. You will not need to cook on such a high heat setting to get the best out of these pans and should something come to the boil, remove immediately because the pans retain the heat for a few seconds after you have shut down the heatsource. The lids sit nice and snuggly (unlike some pans these days) and the silicon handles which means you can always pick them up without burning yourself at all. (my other set only had metal handles which was not entirely a good option but Circulon seemed to have changed this and applied silicon to all their new ranges). Because of the weight, these saucepans are for proper serious cooking and I have used them on a ceramic hob without problems.I just love circulon, though not perfect and they may not last a lifetime (what does these days??) they should give you years of service and apart from cooking with them, from the point of view of the person who has to cook and clean up the mess, I have never used a set of saucepans that clean as easily as these and that is a bonus for me.

I love to cook and I find a decent set of pans really makes the process that bit more of a pleasure. This is the first time I've shelled out for a set that are considerably more expensive than most pans you find on the market. What you get in terms of quality for the price is quite remarkable. The set is two frying pans, one small and one large, and a set of three saucepans ranging from small to large. The pan lids haven't had much use from me but they fit well. The non-stick is very good, and I'm finding no problems in cleaning the pans... in fact I even look forward to cleaning them given the ease of the task. I've used both a light scouring pad and a sponge, with no signs of either abrading the interior, but I try to remember to use the sponge more often. The idea of ridges to help you use less oil in your cooking is also a pleasant one. I don't tend to use very much anyway, but I have noticed the difference... you can even easily dry fry in them without worrying about anything sticking.I use a ceramic hob, and I've also placed the frying pans directly in the oven, with no signs of them being tarnished from doing so. They heat through evenly and relatively rapidly (using the large frying pan for a stir fry is actually very good).I store them in a cupboard, stacked, with a sheet of kitchen paper separating the pans from one another to help prevent scratching.Very pleased and I'm certain they'll last me a very long time. I look forward to adding to my collection.

Very good pans, I'm no expert, just an enthusiastic home cook, and I wanted something more than the 1st set I bought from argos over 10 years ago. Cooked all sorts in them, and they've been as good as i hoped, nothing sticks and they wash extremely quickly. It says they're dishwasher and metal utensil safe, but reading other reviews on here, I have gone and bought a load of decent silicone and wooden utensils and will be hand washing only (which is no real bother as they clean so quick). The only bad things I could say are that,1. They dont really stack, you could, but the lids upside down on the pan like others do dont stay on very well, any knock and they'll fall in and any on top will also fall.2.Lids would have been better with glass, just to see thats going on better.3. Not a problem for me, but they are heavy and large, the largest does have an extra handle, which, if full, would be useful, and if drying after washing and you were to drop one, I'd imagine if you have a tiled floor, the tiles and pan wouldn't fair too well.4. They are big pans, bigger than normal sizes, the smallest is bigger than my medium sized pan on my old set. I also bought 2 "milk pans" of the same set, these are the same size as the smallest in the set, just a lower height, therefore will still get a fair bit in, good for families.

This is the first time I have bought a decent set of pots and pans. In the past I have bought cheap pots and pans always been disappointed with the result. So this time I decided to buy the 'best' I could find. I spent A LOT of time reading reviews on the net (I was unemployed at the time so had a lot of time to spend researching) and decided on the Circulon Infinite set. So as soon as my first pay check came in I bought this set. This set has lived up to everything I had hoped for- they are very non-stick, easy to clean, oven proof, dishwasher proof, and really sturdy. They seem like they will last a lot better than my Tefal pans have in the past.I thought having hot handles was something I would have to live with (a few of the reviews mention the handles getting hot)and I would have to get in the habit of using pot holders all the time. Despite this added hassle the pans still seemed to be the best available on the market. BUT I have been pleasantly surprised- I have only had the handles get hot when I have been using them in the oven (as you expect when you put things in the oven). The handle design seems to be really good and they heat up close to the pot/pan but are cool enough to touch at the end of the handle.Highly recommended

Lifetime Guarantee Honoured - Buy These Pans With Confidence !After 4 years, the pans coating became unstable. I contacted Circulon (Made by Mayer ) direct via their customer support on their website. After explaining the problem, they request photos of pans faults etc. I already had those ready so attached to email for them to consider etc.Anyhow their analysis resulted in them declaring my pans obviously had a defective coating and that they would replace all pans as required etc.Today, after appx. six working days since contacting them to start my claim, I'm happy to say brand new pans have arrived. (see images) I actually got an email yesterday confirming they will be sent and to allow five days, but less than 24 hours later , a big box arrived with my shiny new cookware. Please make your purchase with confidence , the pans are very nice to cook with, food certainly does not stick , and this firm will honour their lifetime no fuss guarantee. If you note on pic, you'll see these pans can take metal utensils even, although we use non metal, and you'll notice their lifetime guarantee pledge on side of box.I'll be a happy cook this weekend ! Thank you very much, Circulon and Mayer , I'll be a lifelong customer.

Bought these because my last set of Circulon pans lasted me for a good 4 years before they start looking a bit tired and the non-stick coating start to stick a little. So when these came on a flash sale, I ordered without hesitation. These are a bit thinner than the last set I got though.I use them on an induction hob, and unfortunately my hob has a function that detects if a iron/steel pan is on the ring before it would come on, no pan then no switching on, I think it's a safety feature. Anyway, it's really fussy about the pans, thin pans just don't get detected, like the milk pan in this set is only be detected by the smallest ring on the hob. The 2nd smallest pan could not be detected by the largest ring either.Compared to the previous set of Circulon pans, which worked perfected on all four rings, this is a slight disappointment. This suggests the pans are either thinner in construction, or the iron content is somehow lower than before.Still, the non stick coating is top class, 5 times better than the tefal non-stick pans that I still sometimes use. Where the tefal non-stick coating will start failing after 6 months, these stay non-stick for several years if my previous experience is anything to go by.

I have bought many pans over the year, all promising to outlast the other and sometimes costing as much as £60 for 1 pan, but these pans looked really solid and after some researching and deciding I wanted the Circulon pans (by Meyer) I chose the Professional set specifically because of the glass lids and the fact you could see what was going on (ie if the pan is boiling dry or likely to boil over). However, when using these pans the glass lids steam up and you cannot see a thing going on inside unless you lift the lid. Having posted this question, others said this was happening and their comments were along the lines 'of what difference does that make?'Well it does make a difference if you want to view the contents and for that reason I am knocking off a star because this was how they were advertised and this was what I expected (to see through the lids) otherwise I would have bought the cheaper version with the steel lids. I have put my old glass lids on the pans and they don't steam up so I don't know what is going on. I have emailed Meyer but have yet to receive a response. Overall, brilliant non stick pans (so much so that I have bought all the bakeware) but just a little disappointed with the lids.

These are absolutely excellent. Having used various Analon types for ten years or more, I thought I knew what a nice set of pans are like but the Circulon ones are so much better that the Analon are quite awful in comparison. The weight, balance and style is well judged. The lids fit perfectly - where the Analon pans leaked, these do not - and don't get too hot to hold. I don't miss the see-through glass lids at all, why would you if they fit properly and don't boil over? Pouring is simple, left or right handed, with a neat lip all the way round each pan. The quality of the not-stick surface is superb too, again far better than anything else I've tried. The pans also stack more neatly (to a lower height)than the Analon set they're replacing. Because they hold the heat so well and evenly, you really can cook at a slightly lower temperature than with other cheaper alternatives - my cooking results have improved and there's fewer splashes and mess to clean up afterwards. These are genuinely worth every penny and I only wish I'd bought them years ago.Update after 4 months of regular use: still found absolutely no flaws with these at all, very happy with the purchase.

I purchased these in September of 2010 and can happily say that after 5 years of constant use, they're still fantastic - I've been so pleased with them that I've bought another set for my partner's mum as she's re-doing her kitchen and moving to an induction hob (which is why I originally bought mine).1 - you *really* notice the difference when cooking with these versus "cheap" pots and pans. How so? When cooking with cheaper quality products to maintain a "simmer" the induction hob had to sit at 7 with the lid on; with these? 3.5 - half. These heat up faster and retain distribute heat far more efficiently.2 - The non-stick coating has withstood 4 kids and a partner who loves to grab metalspoons to stir with :)3 - Dead easy to clean inside and out.The *only* drawback with these is that the lids can get a bit hot! I've purchased some Sugru to fashion handles on them (there are instructions on how to do this online everywhere) so the one drawback they had has been resolved. It's only the lids that get hot and if you're happy with a mitt to lift them off it will not bother you.For the cost, durability, and efficiency these have been a great buy.

Circulon pans are about the best money can buy for a (semi) serious cooking household.Riveted handles, true non stick without looking like that Tefal effect (ie a bit cheap), immensely durable and they cook better. If TV cookery programmes are any benchmark for what professionals use then catch any Masterchef and in all recent series it's been Circulon in the contestant kitchens.First glance this pan set may seem more expensive than others but this range is a downgraded version from the top Infinite range that sits in this household. In that the handles are still riveted but not as substantial and the pans not as thick or with a solid base as with the Infinite. The Infinite range you truly can't beat so just be aware that not all Circulon are quite the same quality. This Momentum set is a little lightweight by comparison and doubtless not quite as durable but still Circulon quality. That said still a top pan set and beats by a million miles Tefal or department store ranges for quality that at this price aren't far off. Go buy Circulon instead. Not much to doubt here except Circulon giving you better options if you pays your money.
