Having used this item for more than 18 months this review is based on actual usage. I spent some 50 years thinking that all cookware just needed to hold items over the heat and that the cheapest would be sufficient. Things changed when I bought an Induction hob and found that the cheap aluminium cookware didn't have the magnetic requirements to work on it. Also, I had read a lot about the health problems of standard non stick coatings. Research lead me to the Circulon Infinite Hard Anodised pans and what a difference I have found. No hot spots to cause uneven cooking of food and no lightweight coatings to peel or scratch. I have found no problem with cleaning the inside or outside and even the chrome rivets have been easy.Although some reviewers have mentioned the handles getting hot I have not found this a dangerous problem with the main handle but this could be due to cooking on induction where heat does not go up the side of the pans. Obviously the lids do get hot so I always use a cloth when raising them. I now realise that this good quality cookware is worth the extra cost and highly recommend it with just one caution concerning the weight. As others have mentioned, these pans are heavy and whilst I have had no problems lifting even the large wok, an elderly neighbour with arthritis was unable to safely lift any of them.

We like to cook a lot in our household and purchased this 18cm saucepan after having bought and used the 5 piece set from the same range:Having used the full 5 piece set for 3 months now, we found the 18cm and 20cm sizes the most useful.Things that we like about this pan:- Solid and sturdy feel without being too heavy (unlike our cast iron pans)- Metal handles do not heat up on hob but mean pans can be placed in the oven- Rapid and even heat distribution from our induction hob- Well-proportioned 18cm saucepan, with nice high sides- After three months of heavy use they look good as new – however have been hand washed on every occasion despite being dishwasher proofOne thing to note is the slightly grooved base,it is very slight but can mean white sauces, porridge etc can catch a little more on the base of the pan when compared to a non-stick smooth pan. However this really hasn’t been an issue. Also in our old pans we used to use metal spoons and whisks, however the quality and feel of these pans have made us nervous of scraping them, so we have purchased more silicone kitchen utensils… nothing that detracts from how great these pans are but perhaps something to keep in mind if you are similar to us and scratches would bother you! Would highly recommend as a quality, durable, excellent pan.

I was a little hesitant at first spending so much money on a pan, i do a lot of indian cooking, and that involves cooking onions with masala for a long time almost dry (we call it bhun the onions!) its a fine art of cooking almost dry without burning the pan, since using these pans i have not had that problem ever, even making custard, dont get that burnt custard at the bottom and when the side dries up, i find just leaving it in water, and it cleans away easy. I have been using them for almost 9 months.I have now got the whole set of these including the big 30cm fry pan, 26cm pan and 20cm pan, its the best thing i ever did switching over to these pans, when i cook burgers and kababs, nothing sticks to the pan and once finished i just drain the oil away, and with a tissue i wipe away the fat, nothing sticks and burns onto these pans, cleaning time is a dodle and with four kids, a busy mum knows time is golden! They are a bit on the heavy side, so if you suffer from arthritis of the hands or other hand problems then defiantly would not recommend sadly unless you have someone else to do the washing up for you :)

This cookware may be a bit heavy and expensive, (I just bought a whole set) but they are the pans you'd probably see in a restaurant or hotel kitchen. If you are serious about cooking, or you just want to do beans on toast, these pots and pans, do the biz. Because I was more used to my old set, I keep forgetting to use a mitt of some sort to pick up the pans, as they can get very hot (they have metal handles), but after a couple of burns, you tend to remember! But then there's another good reason to use an oven mitt....all the cookware can be used on anything, including Induction and then put straight into the oven, up to Gas Mark 9! When you let the pans cool, they can then go into the dishwasher,a definite bonus. My set of 'Morphy Richards' lasted about ten years, but these 'Circulon Infinte' pans are guaranteed for life.......I'll be dead before they are knackered!Recommended for junior and senior cooks/chefs alike.

I have tried around 20, supposedly non-stick, pans over the years. None have maintained their non-stick properties for more than a few months and most begin to lose it after a few weeks. Not these. I now have a complete set of infinite pans, all at least a year old and they are all as good as the day I bought them. Nothing sticks - ever. Washing up is a breeze, you simply wipe clean with a soft cloth and you're done. There are absolutely no hot spots, so everything is evenly cooked. They can withstand temperatures up to 240 degrees, so hob to oven is no problem. I have turfed-out very other pan I owned - these do everything I need.Surely there must be SOMETHING wrong! Well two things actually.1.They are quite heavy.2. Some say the lids get too hot. (Although I have never found the need to use gloves).Given what they do, for me, those are insignificant issues.

I've bought quite a few of these pans now, some for myself and others for family presents. The non-stick surface is the best I've ever used and the handle is really comfortable to hold. It has a lovely thick base, great on my AGA but also on the gas, induction and ceramic hobs that the rest of my family use. However it isn't too heavy.lIn theory it can go in the dishwasher but I don't put it in because I expect that it would be damaged by long term use. In practice the non-stick surface is so good that it cleans very easily with a sponge.I've got a small skillet in this range which I use for pancakes, tortillas and omelettes. It works well for all of them and the thick base means that it colours them well without burning or warping.Nothing I've ever cooked in the skillet (including potatoes) has ever stuck and I've used it regularly for six months.

I already had a circulon infinite bigger pan and took advantage of amazon's extra 20% off on this as soon as I spotted it: I think they are the best non stick pans. They make me want to cook, they are so easy to care for.For instance you can fry bacon cubes without using any oil, and in a few seconds the pan is cleaned up and ready to use for something else. Yes, they are a bit heavy, but I cannot stand pots and pans thay fly off the hob because they are too light. This brand means business and I wouldn't buy anything else. I have used various exepnsive pans like le cruiset, but the non stick properties and heat distribution of the circulon is the best for me.The stainless steel handle lets you use the pan in the oven too.Save up and treat yourself to one of those as soon as you can,you will not regret it.

I am asked to review this saucepan in isolation, but I have bought it as part of a set, with 2 larger saucepans and with 2 frypans. They were a remarkably good price on Amazon compared to buying them individually elsewhere, this may not be the case now. They are excellent, good-looking, cooking well and the non-stick properties are amazing: the first time I boiled milk in this saucepan, there was a residue on the walls and a film on the bottom. I thought "Ho-hum" and filled it with water; before I finished filling it, the milk film began to float to the top: no pressure required to clean it! It's the same for all the pans in this range.I gave it 4 stars and not 5 only because I find these pans to be remarkably heavy even when empty, filled they can be a bit of a problem (but I have weak wrists)...

Having had many different makes of cookware over the years, I decided to treat us with a set of Circulon saucepans and skillets. These kitchen tools are excellent. The base does make sure that there are no hot-spots. Other pans have always had a burn-spot no matter how carefully used.Pro:Works with gas, electric and an oil-Arga.Easy to clean (I bought the Circulon Brush. Expensive but, worth it to look after the pans.So far, nothing sticks not even when I'm doing the cooking!Visually attractive (if this is important to you).ConsPossibly a little heavy to handle for those with any kind of wrist or arm impairmentWould I buy again or recommend to others? Absolutely. Finally an observation from experience: With La Creuset you pay more. With Circulon you get more in comparison.

Bought these as our first ever expensive purchase of cookware (and we're not that young) to go into our new kitchen which we never anticipate redoing again. My husband is the cook in our household and he is so pleased with the pans I'm not sure how to describe it. Some of the pan lids are heavier than some cheap pans we have had in the past but never again - only Circulon Infinite from now on.Pros: Non stick, cook food to perfection, cook quickly and thus economically, easiest pan cleaning we've ever known, look great too.Cons: Are heavyish pans so people with weak wrists be aware, use kettle boiled water rather than heating it from cold in the pan for economy. We have absolutely no hesitationin recommending these pans.

Bought this pan to replace one I’ve been using constantly for the past ten years (and throwing it in in the dishwasher!). I tried different pans suitable for induction hobs. Each had to be returned as they just didn’t work as well as my Circulon infinite. So I searched online and was delighted to find them at Amazon. This pan is perfect. It heats up in an instant. It’s truly non stick and is easy to clean. It’s dishwasher proof and I did put my ‘old’ pan in the dishwasher regularly for ten years! However, the dishwasher does eventually scratch and wear away the surface of the pan, so I won’t do this with my new pan. It’s far too precious.

These saucepans although on the pricey side are it seems so far worth the money. They are deep, cook well and their non stick abilities are brilliant. They clean up very easily, usually with food just floating away from the sides as you fill with water or even before. They are a bit on the heavy side so wouldn't recommend for the weak wristed out there and their handles are metal and can heat up a bit during cooking but on the whole a great saucepan which I hope will last for many years to come.

Great pan for my induction hob. Replaces the same pan after 15 years of constant use. Cooks evenly, is definitely non stick and cleans easily, either by hand or in the dishwasher. They are a bit pricey but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I have several other pans in the same range and the only downside, for me, is that they are a little heavy especially when full and the larger pans can be a bit awkward to drain. This would not put me off buying from the same range again.

These pans are a bit pricier than some but they are in my opinion worth it. I haven't had a problem with any food sticking to them yet which was a common problem with my old ones. Food just floats away from the sides as you fill it with water. The only down sides are the lid handles are metal and can quite hot during cooking so you have to be careful touching them and the pans are a bit on the heavy side so wouldn't recommend to anyone with weak wrists.

We had to renew our pots when we got an induction hob. The Stellar 3000 we were using had been marketed and still are, as being suitable but clearly were not! I wholly endorse what has already been said about these pots being not only good to look at but also energy efficient and easy to clean. They are heavy but the bigger sizes have an extra little handle that is very useful. I love them!
