We were looking for a good quality everyday pan we could use for paella, curries, stews, casseroles and general frying etc. The 30 cm version (which gets many good reviews) of this was slightly too big, so I was delighted to find this 28 cm version for sale. It heats evenly, feels very solid but is not too heavy and the non-stick surface is superb. Finally we can fry fish properly and get crispy skin without it sticking to the pan! I can confirm that it is exactly the same as the 30 cm, other than being slightly smaller. The description on here is incorrect, because like the 30cm one it is oven safe (up to 260 degrees for the pan, 220 degrees for the lid). I was also worried whether it was induction compatible,

I swapped my traditional heavy Le Creuset pans for Triply pots with handles on both sides about 5 years ago because of wrist problems.I got a new grill that needed to be closed in order to work so bought the triply shallow casserole to use as a frying pan substitute when I wanted to move a pan under the grill. But it was always a nightmare to clean if eggs were involved so decided to buy this to use instead. I have the crepe pan and roaster in this material and they have been great for cleaning and this is no different. Only used it once so far but it is a dream to clean in comparison to the similarly shaped triply pan.

This is a high quality product that should last a lifetime. Results are great on an induction hob. I got the 26cm, which is fine for 2 persons, but if you want to cook larger quantities, for a family, go for the larger sizes (if you can afford it!). It is solid, with a thick multi-layered bottom that heats food evenly rather than burn it. The handles are quality and securely riveted. The glass lid enables you to see the food and ensure the food is cooking as it should. The top handle is securely riveted. It is also oven proof (up to a point with the glass lid on). It's a pleasure cooking with this AND it looks good on the table too. You can get over a price, and personally I think it's worth paying extra for quality.

Worth every penny! I bought this pan from amazon over 6 years ago and it still looks good. Only a bit of scuffing round the rim. I use it nearly every time I cook so I reckon that's around 1500 times so far. Takes a while to warm through but then keeps its heat and cooks very evenly. I wanted a pan i could start a meal frying up the ingredients, add a sauce and either simmer or pop it in the oven in the same pan, and this fits the bill perfectly and looks stylish enough to serve at the table as well. My other pans are looking very tired so I’m saving up to replace them with le creuset!

Great for for any kind of cooking. Fits into oven. Looks good for table presentation.Not heavy like cast iron cookware but not light & flimsy either. Can be machine washed but I prefer to hand wash as it's so easy to clean.Glass cover works very well & there's no splattering of steam when cover is on.Took one star off as the cooking surface still managed to get a little scratched from having cooked chicken pieces with bones in it (despite using only silicone or Brabantia plastic utensils with it).

Fantastic, bought this casserole to go with the smaller one that I'd previously purchased. Together they mean that I hardly need another pan. I use them whatever I'm cooking, everything from poached eggs to soup. Also great to use for pot roast etc, can sear meat then add veg and stock, put the lid on and stick it in the oven, great one pot meals. Lid is well fitting so stuff doesn't dry out. Like it so much bought one for my daughter who's setting up a new home - she loves it too!

A truly great product. Strong, easy to clean, cooks beautifully and evenly. I also have the larger version, which is equally as good. 24cm more that enough space for a meal for two. Hob to oven a real hit. Just remember the handles are metal and get hot.The only small complaint is that when it was delivered it was left on my door step, in an Amazon box. I was lucky it wasn't stolen. This is an expensive item and should have been signed for.

This is a great, all-purpose non-stick casserole dish which is ideally-sized for cooking for two people. It works well on the hob and in the oven. My only criticism is that it is rather shallow and curved than I would like. If the base was wider it would be better for frying and you would be less likely to lose food over the side when stirring. So for that reason it loses a star, otherwise a great buy.

I brought the 30cm pan - we are a family of fourI use it all the time - because I start cooking on the hob and slow/cook in the oven,either way hob or oven it's a must for me and it cleans easily.My mum saw me using it whilst she was visitingand had to have one...hence I bought the 24cm.They are an investment - mum and I use them all the time - well worth the money.

Have been using non stick pans for a long time but we always have the problem with the coating coming off. So we decided to go for Le Creuset after reading a lot of reviews. The pan is a good size and quite a solid one. We are very happy with it. Hopefully this pan won't disappoint us in the long run. Since buying this pan we have bought 2 other pans to go with it.

Probably the best pan that we have ever had. We have used it as a frying pan, a small casserole and even a deep fryer. It is always exceptional easy to clean needing just a quick wipe. Now after 7 months, its showing no signs of wear and the non stick is as good as ever. This range is expensive compared to other similar looking pans but it's well worth the extra.

Really good pan, which is easy to clean. It also cooks food evenly which can be troublesome with some pans I've had. Unfortunately I was expecting it to be slightly deeper, but it's a good pan if you are cooking for 2 people which is ok for us but not so good if your cooking for a large family.

I had a Le Cruset Casserole dish when I married in the late 60's, and it did last quite a while, but this is something else !!! I am a good cook and have used this for everything, I have given some pans to charity now I have this one. It frys, it goes in the oven- everything you could want. !!!

I own the cast Iron cookware & was a bit wary to change especiallyafter reading the conflicting reviews out there.What can I say ...It's nowmy favourite from the hob to the oven completely non stick and looks gooodon the shelf with my "collection" another quality product from Le Creuset.
