**** OVERVIEW ****Needed a set of starter pots and pans for moving into mine and the girlfriends new place, knowing Tefal was a good brand I decided to give these a whirl.**** PROS ***** when these things say they're non stick, they mean it. If you don't want to cook with oil then these pots & pans won't be phased, but who doesn't want to cook with coconut oil though eh?* Cleaning these with the non-stick ability is a breeze.* They feel and look good quality, also lightweight.* Also good to have that Tefal red dot in the middle of the pans, takes the guess work out of when to stick the steak in.. even if it could be slightly gimmicky.* Let's be fair here, this set for the price is very very good,

I've used Tefal for years so when my daughter needed a set of pots and pans for uni I immediately turned to them again.This set of 5 is perfect for her needs. In fact it's probably too much but better to have more than not enough! ? It arrived the very next day after ordering thanks to Amazon Prime (extra subscription charge) packaged neatly together.You get 3 pots (2 with glass lids) plus 2 frying pans in the set.The set comprises of :-1 x 14 cm milk pan
1 x 16 cm saucepan with glass lid
1 x 18 cm Saucepan with glass lid
1 x 20 cm Frypan
1 X 24 cm FrypanIt's non stick coating makes it easy to clean plus Tefal's patented Thermospot technology on the frypans lets you know when the pan has reached optimum cooking temperature.

I bought these while they were on sale and despite an initial pang of regret when I opened the box and and saw how small the items were, I'm actually quite happy with them given the overall quality and the price I paid. These are the type on pans that are ideal if you're cooking for yourself or two people are most, IMO. They're not tiny, they're just smaller than regular sized pans but this was a blessing in disguise for me as I do cook mainly for myself and it saves space.. also, easier to clean.Only reason I didn't give 5* is because I feel that there should be a more explicit effort by the sellers to display the different scale of the items if they're smaller/larger than usual as I did briefly consider returning these due to my different expectation.

Overall i'm pleased with my purchase, they seem to be a good quality (This is 6 months after purchase and no complaints). Although not top quality kitchenware, they've been worth every penny. The set is probably best suited for cooking for a couple or single person due to the individual size of the pans, if you need to do a Sunday dinner for the family, i'd opt for a set with larger pans (but it's perfect for me being a single, lonely, unloved meal for one kinda guy).Unlike other reviews, i haven't had any issues with the non-stick coating/loose handles/quality, they've behaved very well for me.

Me and my housemates have been using these daily for about 18months now and apart from a few scratches to the coating (which have not got any worse since I banned the use of metal pan scourers on them) and the handle becoming a little loose on one or two (which we used a table knife to tighten back again) these are still going strong and can imagine many more years use out of them. As long as you don't use metal scourers on them then the coating stays on. Definitely recommend as they are also very reasonably priced too!

I have been a fan of Tefal cookware for a long time. Their pots and pans were of the highest quality, second to none! But now I have noticed they are what appears to be using 2 bolts through the pan to anchor the handles. Now the inner pan is no longer clean and smooth but now has 2 bumps on it. Food can get caught around them, no longer can you use a utinsal to clear the pan. You have to wash to clean. This is the only negative I can see. The pans are solid, handles are firm and very easy to hold and control.

This set is brillant and as you would expect from tefal a joy to cook with. The 2 frying pan are great i may finally get my timing right for breakfast having now a pan for bacon and one for eggs. The sauce pan athough also great quality are small i dont think you would be able to cook for more than 3 adults at once with them but for the price of this set id definitely recommand it and should need arrise buy one or two bigger sauce pan and you will be sorted.

these are just great and are just what we needed. the reason for getting these was the fact that our previous pans , which were hard anodised, let us down when the handles came off after 5 months of use and as the handles were studded on they were now beyond repair. these new ones are a great price and are completely non stick and are dish washer proof as the hard anodised ones were not. trust tefal always.

I have been using tefal for some time and their products are great and no exception with this one.The non stick coating is great for easycleaning and it also reduces food wasted. no complaints so far and i will update this if i find anything wrong with it.Packaging was enough and arrived in one piece (actually 7: 3 pots 2 pans 2 lids) but could do with a bit more.

Just starting out in my first home I was looking for a set of pans that whilst they were cost effective weren't 'cheap' in quality. Tefal seemed to be the answer and upon arrival it was clear I'd made the right choice. Solid feeling pans with a nice range of sizes to suit most kitchen needs, would certainly recommend them ??

A brilliant set of starter pots and pans for any new household, this definitely isn't a set for an already established household as they lack the extra quality seen in the more expensive models but has all the features required to make cooking easy and fun when you're getting started without any compromise.

I felt compelled to write this review after seeing other peoples comments on the pans.We have used them for over a year now and they are still in pristine condition.Take care of them and im sure they will still be good in five years timeIm sure many people who have complained have not taken care of them

Very useful, especially when you don't need such large utensils like I do. As a student, I rarely need my largest pans and pots and I have no smaller ones besides this. Especially useful when making things like sauces and smaller dishes etc. Of course as a non stick it's quite a God send too.

This is a quality set for a very reasonable price!The non stick frying pans.. are exactly that! Cooking a fry up to cure the hang-over takes very little oil and pans are easy to clean.This set would be too small for a family, but for a student cooking for one or two it's ideal!

Really nice quality. Even though they're quite small, still good size for 2 people.For electric hob owners, big frying pan is a little losing its balance if the thing you cook is not heavy enough to keep it down. It leans a wee bit to handle side and not heats up evenly.
