I think these were a very good purchase for me. Due to worsening disabilities I needed some lightweight, easy to clean pans. They are VERY light, and barely need cleaning at all! A wipe round with a drop of oil is all you need for cooking, since the Tefal's so utterly non-stick. A wipe in the sink is all the cleaning they need, too. The only part that gets marked is the metal rings on the base - and they work; the heat distribution's fantastic.Because they're so light, I don't really expect them to last all that long. My one & only gripe is the famous Tefal guarantee: it says it's void if the pans are knocked. I'm sure Tefal's legal department has a reason for this but,

When I received these pans I decided to test them out.Using only a tiny bit of oil or spray, then cooking as I would with other non-stick pans. The coating is very good to say the least, nothing got stuck to the bottom whatsoever.Then I tested the heat distribution claims. I knew that after a certain amount of time the food would have a fair bit of charring on other pans, so I tried this out on the pan, nothing. There was simply no concentrated charring on certain "hotspots" at all.I would recommend these to anyone who is either a starting cook, or a seasoned veteran. These are really cheap, and they seem as though they would last you a good while.A few tips:Cook when the pan is hot enough,

These come delivered in a stout card carton with good internal supports so there should be no damage. The actual measurements are around 1cm less than those given and can be seen in the photos. The diameter of the flat cooking surface of the 27cm pan is 21cm [external] and the 19cm is 13.5cm [external], the internal cooking area is approx. 5mm smaller.Stated as oven safe up to 175°C but most oven baked foods are now recommending 180°-200°C so care should be taken and most dishwasher manufacturers recommend that anything made of aluminium should not be washed in a dishwasher.Very good pans, the only obvious downside is they have no lids but as this is stated,

Received this item securely packaged and delivered within just a few days. My experience with these pans are that they are durable and long lasting as long as you take care of them and wash them carefully. Unfortunately my son used a metal spoon and scraped the non stick material off my last pan, which is why I ordered another. As long as you use wooden or plastic utensils on the interior of the pans, you will have no problem and they should last a while.The exterior of the pan is not as hard wearing and I found that after a few washes, I could see scratches and some paint had wore off. Still, I would recommend this product as my last pan was over a year old,

We have a large number of saucepans and a few frying pans, but the frying pans that we do have are either huge or tiny and so not appropriate for 3 egg omelettes. The larger one of these seemed around the size that I wanted and indeed it is perfect. The smaller frying pan is fairly diminutive unless you wish to make a teeny omelette out of quails eggs for leprechauns, but I am sure that we will find a use for it. We have always found Tefal pans to be good quality and these ones seem to be no exception. I am happy :-)UPDATE: In spite of what I previously said (silly old me :-), The smaller of the two pans is indeed perfect for a 3 egg omelette.

You get what you pay for I guess, the smaller pan is perfect, great non stick capability (as does the larger pan) easy to clean and cooks perfectly. The larger pan however appears to warp as it heats up, by the time you're cooking, the pan becomes unstable due to a curve across the base, of course this thin slightly impacts the heat distribution across the pan on an electric flat hob. I was going to return, but as I mainly use the smaller pan, once ready, I will spend more money on a better large pan and will use this one for cooking on a gas stove or for camping. Handles need tightening every couple of weeks

These are literally the best pans ever. I bought them for my parents for Christmas, and when I came back during the summer, I was amazed by these pans and wanted some for myself- not even realising these were the ones I'd bought them! They are brilliantly easy to clean, it's almost unreal. You can cook and leave that dried oil sitting, but it still comes off with no effort! Completely non-stick and durable, and cooks everything amazingly. The smaller pan is perfect for cooking for one, and the larger one has ample space.It's so good, I'll be buying myself a second set!

i bought these over xmas whilst on sale and they have been the most used pans in my kitchen.The larger pan is great for cooking food anywhere between 2 and 4 people depending on what youre cooking (perfect size for making a curry or fajitas).The smaller is a great size for making smaller starters, it also works great for making thick pancakes or scrambled eggs, i have also used it to shallow fry chicken goujons, the size means you dont need to fill the pan with as much oil!Easy to clean, the non stick is currently still holding up almost 3 months later (as expected).

Slightly lighter than I was expecting, the pans work great and are a pleasure to use, especially after putting up with old half none stick pans that were past it. Love being able to fry an egg how I want. If I had known the quality I would have bought the next more expensive ones but not complaining these are fine for what you want though I don't expect them to last long. Think the secret to longevity is not to store anything inside/on top of the pan, no scratches makes for happy eggs . Good pans for the money

Folks this fryer are great. I dont use any oil at all and nothing stick to it, of course I cook in medium heat so I can have enough time for other stuff, salads, cut, etc... The small one is definitely for fry eggs, a single omelet or pancake . The big one I use it for stakes or chickens fillet. Is really up to you how you want to use them but let me tell you that they look like brand new because I never use oil in it so is easier to wash and doesnt stay with yellow stains arround it.

I bought these to replace my old ones and they've been perfect. The nonstick coat has withstood some pretty rubbish cooking over the last few months and there isn't a scratch on it. The 2 sizes cover most of my cooking and these pans get more use than anything else in my kitchen! My only criticism is that I'm sure the red spot on the middle is supposed to change colour when hot but it doesn't- but they still work so I'm happy

It's rather difficult to buy some things online. Even if you check the sizes with a tape measure or something beforehand. These frying pans are perfectly adequate for use, but what strange sizes. The small one is just a bit too small, and the big one is just a bit too big. I'll have to go to a shop where I can actually see the frying pans and buy something in between - but these will still come in useful for this and that.

These frying pans are excellent quality and a bargain, given the price I paid. I saw the larger one in a well known supemarket for the same price as this pair, so effectively the smaller one was free. They are both good to cook with and easy to clean. The heat distribution is good in both pans and the smaller one is perfect for frying a single item, such as one egg for example. Overall I am very happy with this purchase

First of all I thought the thermo spot was meant to go solid red when the pan is ready to use the pan had been on the hob for some time and smokey and the spot was just the same and the handle on the small pan was loose I nipped it up myself just hope it doesn’t keep working loose but it did cook the food nice and evenly and it didn’t stick at all and cleaned really easy and I suppose that’s it’s primary function

The frying pans came packaged with inner cardboard as to protect the pans from scratching.The centre Ts disappear when pan is at the perfect cooking temperature. Ideal for healthy cooking oil free!Not had a single issue yet. Both claim to be dishwasher safe, however I've only ever hand washed them to prevent scratching and removing the non stick coating.Highly recommended!
