This is a very well-made and sturdy pan. It doesn't rock on the hob like some pans might and it doesn't bend during cooking. I am completely confident this pan will never become out of shape after a few uses like some other cheaper makes. This pan is completely flat, so you don't have any problems with sloping sides and liquids collecting in the middle, rather than being spread evenly. If anything sticks while I'm in the middle of cooking, I just pick the pan up, grab some kitchen towel and wipe it all off into the sink. Then, I carry on without problems. The non-stick coating is fantastic and really hard-wearing. All my pancakes and chapatis are perfect now.I've used many types of oil/ghee in this pan and had great results all round.UPDATE - 12 April 2016:This pan is still going strong and it has had lots of use since I bought it. The recipe for pancakes has worn off from the underside over time. I expected this, due to it being constantly heated with fire. Pretty obvious this would happen really. No matter, because that was just a cute extra for me and I only really used it for pancakes a few times when I first bought it to test it out. For me, this pan's main purpose was for chapatis...and for anyone who regularly makes chapatis, you'll know you don't use oil of any kind in the pan because there is enough fat in the actual chapati. This is how you achieve the lovely dark spots on the bubbles and produce a healthy flat bread. I had thought about buying another of these as a back-up...but, seriously, this pan had not changed its sturdy shape since I bought it. The handle has not become loose at all and, if you don't use oil, there is no real need to scrub it. The small amount of burned floury crumbs that collect as you're cooking can just be scraped off into the sink or a bin with a sheet of kitchen roll. If just using for chapatis and not regular frying of greasy food that could be burned on and need deeper cleaning, this pan will last you. Apart from the underside being scorched by flames, this pan looks and feels as it did when I bought it. To make my chapatis even healthier, I often use Vitalite margarine and this pan cooks them just as well as if I'd used ghee.

This pancake pan was purchased due to the combination of favourable reviews and affordable price. At the time of this review, the product has increased a few pounds in price. As usual, Amazon delivered the product in a couple of days despite using the 'super saver' delivery option. It was well, albeit slightly over-packaged however other uses will be found for the box before it it recycled. The pan itself is lightweight with a non-stick coating and basic recipe on the base that is useful for non-seasoned pancake makers.Washing the pan is straightforward and its size makes it perfect for both thin (crepe) and thick pancakes.Even with the non-stick coating,I have found it better to brush a thin layer of melted butter in between pancakes to ensure nothing sticks. As other reviewers have stated, the handle is a minor issue that the manufacturer seems to have overlooked. It feels slightly fragile and I can envisage it breaking if the pan is flipped too robustly. To avoid this, I have opted to use an egg slice turn my pancakes.I feel this should not detract too much from the usefulness of the pan since pancakes do not necessarily need to be flipped in the air.All in all a good, fit for purpose product!

I've had a pancake party at my place so this pan went through quite tough trial period :)First pancake got a bit sticky but once the pan got hot it worked perfectly. (Just to note: I was using brush to put a thin layer of grease). As i had quite many pancakes to bake in a short period of time I was using 3 pans at once (1 sauce pan, 1 frying pan and this one). Though the other pans served the purpose this one was the most convenient to use because it is really light. After about 5h of usage (in two days) i didn't experience any problems with the pan. Contrary to the other reviews even after extensive flipping the handle was secure. Overall I would definitely recommend this product.

Kitchen Craft Crepe/ Pancake Pan with Recipe on Base, 24 cm by KitchenCraftHaving read the other positive reviews I made this purchase. I must agree it really is a superb pancake pan. Non-stick and light so the pancake can be successfully flipped - EVERY time! The handle seems just the right length too. I must admit I did receive some teasing at home for buying a pan just to be kept for pancakes. But it really is worth it if you like pancakes (more than just the once a year). Oh! and the teaser tried it and agreed. I like the recipe on the back of the pan, not so much as a reminder but to distinguish it from the other pans & to say 'This for pancakes only'!

Fantastic pancake pan. Found it works better without any oil or butter. Really non stick. Allow it to heat for one minute before pouring in your pancake batter and get perfect pancakes every time. Even my 13 year old daughter can make them on her own and they turn out just perfect every time. This pan has really made making pancakes a pleasure. Can whip up a batch in no time. The recipe on the base is good too. We have pancakes at least once a week now. Well worth buying this pan. Would recommend it to everyone. Wish I'd invested in one years ago. Fab,Fab,Fab! :-) Update have now bought a second one Fab!

wanted a pancake pan for ages as we love pancakes, making them in an ordinary pan can be a bit awkward as you have to try and get a fish slice underneath to make sure that they don't stick while turning them over. You cant get a large cake lifter type fish slice in to turn them, these pans are ideal as they have a low lip to enable you to get under the pancake to assist turning them, also i have used them to cook home made burgers rather than use a larger heavier pan.the non - stick makes turning food over easy and cleaning is not a problem.overall a good product.

This is the best crepe pan ever! I didn't expect much as it was inexpensive but was swayed by all the positive reviews. The youngsters (19-25 yr olds) in our household were in charge of pancake making recently and I thought this would be the end of the pan but no! We had the best pancakes ever (I have to admit), using the recipe printed on the back. Even the first pancake was superb, and the use of oil (we use a little sunflower oil) was minimal. I shall be buying more of these pans as the first items we gift them when they eventually move out, pg.

Brought this product a few weeks ago and it is fantastic! It takes minutes to make great pancakes, the recipe on the back is a nice touch if the recipe slips your mind (it happens after a few beers the night before!) brilliant product! Great for eggs too.I will say this though, the handle is all plastic but underneath near the actual pan is a strip of metal and if your not careful you can a nasty burn off it (scarred my index finger) but I was not paying any attention when it happened. Still a great product! No pain, no pancakes!

This little pan is fantastic for whipping out perfectly formed, perfectly cooked pancakes. The recipe on the base means my teenage children can even manage to make pancakes and have had great fun doing so. The pan is small but a perfect size and is truly non stick. You do have to give it a quick wipe with oil before each crepe and I do that with a brush. It is light weight and so it is very easy to flip a crepe without using a spatula and impress your friends.

As soon as this was bought I think we had crepes almost ever night, the non-stick finish is a god-send as it makes washing up almost effortless. I've also used to make eggs in the morning as it's so slick, and works a treat for them too. We've had for a few good months and no scratches, just take care how you use as you don't want to be using any metal cutlery or abrasive sponges so you can keep the finish as long as possible.

We always forget Pancake Day, but then we do tend to have them every couple of months or so, and my wife loves them.We always used a pan we used for everything else so when I saw this one I bought it more as a novelty, but have actually been surprised how useful it is. It does need some TLC, washing carefully with no scourers, not running under cold water when hot - that sort of thing.Just what we needed!

The Pancake pan is absolutely fantastic. Just add a small bit of butter or olive oil when making the pancakes with it and they glide off it easily. We love making pancakes at the weekend and we managed to cook 20 pancakes in less then 10 minutes. The size of the pan is perfect as it only takes 10 seconds before we have to flip it to make the perfect pancake. One of my top 5 things purchased from Amazon!!

I had one of these for years... always served me well. Sometimes you get a little sticking but that is usually a sign that it does not have enough oil.Had to buy a new one today (on pancake day of all days) because my wife ruined it last night while trying to cook Korean style pancakes on it... this pan is strictly for crepes. Korean pancakes and hotcake style pancakes will end up burning the pan.

I have always cooked my crepes in a regular 28 cm frying pan (to make 24 cm crepes) and I wish I had bought a pan like this long ago. The low sides make it so easy to get your spatula under the crepe to flip it and it's small size makes it a doddle to manoeuvre to spread the batter smoothly. It cooks the crepes beautifully evenly. Easy to clean too and fits in with the plates in my dishwasher.

We have had a Perfect Pancake Pan for a number of years and make a lot of pancakes. Great pan, great balance, perfect pancakes - but, as mentioned by other reviewers, the handle breaks, when tossing a pancake - and what is a pancake if it hasn't been tossed? Great shame, as the aluminium parts will now have to be recycled and we shall have to get a new Perfect Pancake Pan.
