It was time to replace one of our old mid sized (24 cm) trusted decades-old Tefal pans. We hardly ever order delivery meals nor do we eat out, simply because I’ve started to see it as an exciting challenge to cook perfect meals for my family. This requires proper kitchen equipment, so our range of kitchen ware has been extending as my culinary skills got lifted to a higher level. This is not the highest quality fry pan but the size is quite handy for smaller side dishes or to heat up left overs. It is reasonably sturdy. The only thing with the Tefal frying pans is that after, say two years I find that I have to re-secure the handles with a screwdriver. It has a good grip and comes with a non-stick performance coating, which is helpful. I think it can be placed int eh dishwasher, but we tend to wash our frying pans by hand. Then of course all the Tefal frying pans in this range come with the typical red thermo-spot in the centre - it’s supposed to turn full red when the pan reaches the frying temperature. But frankly I find it very hard to distinguish when it changes color. So I’ve never used that feature. Also I do use a proper more upscale frying pan for frying more precious, top notch steaks. But again, this is just a very handy frying pan to have on the side. So I’m pleased with it. And I think the price is fair.

Great for any breakfast - can get 2 eggs, 3 rashers bacon, 4 chipolatas / 3 normal sausages and a large tomato in half in it, and several mushrooms or black pudding as there is plenty of room with 32cms.Non stick coating is good as far as I can tell, I use sunflower oil and wait until red bit in middle is red then cook! I use a wooden spatula and don't let my food just cook by itself I turn food over time to time so it never sticks/ burns - thus a rinse in hot soap water is all I ever need it always comes clean in seconds.I guess if I used a metal fork/ spatula etc and left food to stick or burn THEN i had to use a heavy duty pan scorer to clean the pan this may damage the non-stick coating(but them what you expect?the handle is attached with the typical long single screw down length of bottom handle so the only thing over time is maybe screw gets loose? but a screwdriver easy fix thatI do like this large 32cm frying pan it does its job perfectly for me ~ easy recommend especially at the Amazon prime price of £16.99 cannot go wrong!

Doesn't get as hot as other pans I've used but does the job well and I don't think you should use non stick pans on the highest heat setting on a hob anyway. Really haven't noticed the colour ring looking any different but I know how long it takes to get a pan hot after all these years so I don't need that function.I've been using 2 or 3 times a week for the last few months and it still looks almost completely new so I hope that it will last well and live up to its marketing as being one of Tefal's long lasting models - which is why I bought it. Fed up of non stick pans not lasting.Remember never put these in a dishwasher and only wash with warm water and no soap. That should help lifespan.Bought for a fantastic price so very happy indeed with this. A friend also bought this same item and is even more impressed than me! Very much recommended.

Unfortunately, the pan of this brand I bought before was broken, so I saw Amazon's discount and ordered two immediately. I was very satisfied with this pan. Used a few times, the effect is very good. Conducive to controlling calories and ensuring that food does not burn. It is non-sticky and can be fried perfectly. I am very happy, the weight is light but the quality is good. The non-stick surface looks very thick, so you hope it can keep in good working condition within half a year. I have bought the same brand before. Its cooked fish, cooked meat, and cooked French potatoes are all good because it retains heat well. Therefore, it has excellent chef's steak and lamb chops. It cooked frittata perfectly at a reasonable price. It seems to be quite scratch-resistant and the handle will not overheat. And it has always been a good choice.

I bought this for stir frys as I batch cook and my largest frying pan wasn't big enough. I chose it as there seemed to be the best quality to value ratio. I don't spend much time in the kitchen so couldn't justify buying one of the more expensive ones available.I had an idea of the size this would be as I had measured the dimensions against my largest frying pan and the diameter of this was smaller. I tested the volume by filling both with water and this does hold more, but not by a huge amount.Having said that, I am able to make bigger portions in this than I was in the old frying pan, so it wasn't a wasted purchase. I've been very careful with it so no scratches yet and it's easy to clean. It was a good purchase,it was cheap (I paid £12.50 in Dec 19) and I'm glad I have it although I still wish it was bigger!

I bought this to force the retirement of it's predecessor, and I couldn't be happier. The non-stick coating makes it easy to cook with (and more importantly clean off afterwards), and the entire construction of it seems very solid unlike some on the market.Should I decide to cook a meal without the use of any oils or sprays, this pan will handle it with ease and leave very little unnecessary mess afterwards (Not to mention once again that it is easy cleaning). For the price you really can't go wrong, I can see this pan serving me for a long time without issue.A recommendation - to make sure that the non-stick coating isn't damaged I only use silicone or wood utensils as metal tends to damagethem.

I put a bit of oil in it because my mom had this pan and would get eggs stuck on hers. I’ve only used it twice and I love it. The 28cm one has a lot of space for a big breakfast. There are pictures with burn marks at the bottom of the pan. That’s your dirty hobs burning old food and oils, clean them. I dropped cheese on my hob and didn’t see it before putting my saucepan down and had similar burn marks that are tough to remove but will come off if you scrub hard enough. They’ll stain if you dont clean your hobs/pans properly after each use. Also looks like people aren’t soaking their pans before scrubbing, you could just lower your heat and not burn your food

A lovely pan suited to stir frying and tossing the ingredients in the pan. Follow the instructions in the "Before first use" to ensure pan performs optimally. The pan is classed as Dishwasher Safe, however the instructions do state "If your cookware is dishwasher safe, washing by hand is still recommended" - so that's how I clean it. Combination dishwasher tablets are very corrosive and I don't want to damage the pan. The handle is nice to hold and the pan is light enough to work well for stir frying. Suitable for all heat sources but NOT induction.I'm really impressed with this Tefal stirfry pan.

This is a perfect pan. I was needing to fry more onions and spices for curries and also required a new pan to fry the big daddy steak from Aldi and this was the perfect opportunity to purchase a new pan. This pan is big enough to fry everything we require in one pan. The only thing to be aware of is that the pan will not fit in my sink and for that reason it is quite difficult to clean, this is probably more of an issue with my sink rather than the pan but be aware the pan is very large.I have also put the pan in the oven and not melted anything as it has a metal handle.

What I liked about the product is that it is the light weight and the price is good.I have been using this pan for a month to stir fry, the food doesn’t stick to the pan and I have had no issues with damaging the pan when cleaning. The light weight makes tossing the food in the pan a lot easier, which reduces risk of wrist damage. In other reviews, some people experienced damaged pan within a short period of time. While it might be true (I haven’t encountered it) I feel the price and the light weight makes this pan worthwhile to consider.

This has become a staple in our household. You can make almost anything on this pan! It’s big enough to cook about 4 meals like curries, pasta dishes, stir fries... I just love this pan so much. It is also very easy to clean and the ring in the center tells you when the temperature is ideal to start cooking, so handy. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it does not come with a lid and you definitely can use one so it can be even more versatile as it already is; so we had to buy one separately. Other than that, love this!

This wonderful wok was purchased when we finally tired of our old one (not a Tefal) tipping over, sliding about on the gas cooker and ending up with stuck-on food after every use. This new one is just marvellous - it stays where you put it and doesn't tip over and best of all ends up with nothing stuck to the surface. In fact looks like new after use! I know it will be long-lasting and keep its integrity based on a Tefal red spot frying pan which, years after first use, still looks like new after washing. Highly recommend!

I saw this selling for £20 in Sainsbury's but hesitated and came home to check Amazon's price on the same wok - there's was £12.99.The wok is completely non-stick and easy to clean. It needs barely a wipe to remove baked on food and it's deep design holds in heat browning meat quickly on my electric hob.My only disaapointment is the 28cm rim does not match my 28cm lid from a cheaper wok - it's something about the rim that stops it fitting. But all-in-all a good buy which saved me £7 getting from Amazon.

After putting my previous tefal pan down to cool on a plastic chopping board of to find that they had welded together when i came to do the washing up, I immediately replaced it with exactly the same pan as I had used it for years quite happily. It is non stick and very easy to clean by hand or in the dish washer. I use it to fry eggs, make pancakes, cook steak and chicken and it always does the job perfectly. You can buy more expensive pans - but I doubt that they will perform any better than this one.

I saw some of the bad reviews and was a bit skeptical before buying this panBut thankfully none of the bad reviews came true for me!Been using the wok for a couple months for all kinds of different mealsNot a scratch is on itFood does not get burned easily and it is a pleasant cooking experienceCleaning is also very easily and even if food has dried in a little bit it easily comes off without a problemFrom my experience I can definitely recommend this wok and can say it is good value for money
