Somebody mentioned that this does not make good omelettes as you have to get the pan smoking hot to do that. I beg to differ. Sure, if you're still using a cast iron omelette pan (which takes a lifetime to season but, admittedly, lasts a lifetime, too) and a traditional spit and smoke frying technique, this does not fit the bill. What it does do, however, is achieve a suitable temperature in double quick time, uses less oil (or butter), less fuel and produces light and fluffy omelettes without the leather bottom you get if you leave one in a cast iron pan too long. I am a convert to cooler cooking with quality results. Le Creuset pans are expensive but, to my mind,

This omelette pan is close to perfect,except it leaves stains on the stainless steel from being baked in the oven for toad in the hole. It cooks omelettes well on a low heat and heats up quickly. It's truly non-stick and very little oil is needed. Because of the heat-retaining qualities, it cooks more quickly than other pans, so can't be left on a low heat by itself while you answer the phone or Google. It cooks on the lowest heat setting on my gas burner. It must be very fuel efficient. Looking forward to not having to replace the pan for another 9 years 9 months.The stains of burnt-on grease were removed with a new product I brought called Spontex heavy duty scouters.

Top notch; extremely large, I now have the smaller frying pan as well as this large one, but feel the 'middle size' frying pan would be most useful for everyday use (eggs, bacon, etc). Nevertheless, lovely item, looks fantastic, superb non-stick surface.

The pan is just right for cooking pancakes (bought in time for Shrove Tuesday) & frying eggs on our induction hob and it's dishwasher safe which cannot be said for our earlier non-stick frying pans.

Well made, good weight, balance. Pricey but worth it. Not the most perfect Omelette pan but pretty good all rounder. Surely you must take case of the surface as it’s a non stick! Satisfied.

Quality I would expect from Le Creuset and bought because of the name even though quite expensive. Nice looking, easy care pan which makes lovely omelettes,

Quality all over. Sturdy, easy to clean, excellent performing non-stick. Only minor gripe is how easily the ‘stainless’ steel gets browny/yellow marks.

it's good size for a individual especially for breakfast to fry egg, bacon and small amount mushroom. It's easy to clean and store in cardboard.

This pan is superb quality with excellent heat distribution so very little heat is required. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Le Creuset seem now to have solved their earlier coating problems. This is a superb piece, well worth the price.
