Love the saucepans from this range and wanted an absolutely flat bottomed roaster to go on the hob.Unfortunately the bottom is very slightly raised, so the edge contacts the hob but the rest doesn't.I'm sure it would have worked but if I tried it I wouldn't be able to return, which I did as for this price I want to be absolutely happy. I can't see the point of this in the design, I can understand it for thin stainless sheet metal roasters because they need the strength but this surely doesn't.I did want to keep it, it's a good size - large but not too big for the oven.Shame.Update.....I couldn't resist buying it another time after all and it works fine on my induction hob for gravy - a key feature.

This is the ultimate Roasting pan money can buy, its sold, heavy gauge stainless steel which has been polished to a mirror finish, it cooks evenly and conducts heat into your food better than anything i have seen or used in the past, It does mean you may need to lower the temp in your oven slightly as the pan will help cook your food faster because of its conductive nature, i have cooked a 6lb joint of shoulder pork for several hours and the dish washer cleaned the pan back to its mirror shine with no additional scrubbing or soaking or help of any kind at all, all the dark brown burnt bits removed no problem, this rarely happens even with my non stick roasters.Works great on stove top to make gravy,i honestly cant tell you how amazing this is,

I finally got sick of my warped (even though it said it would not) roaster and decided to splash out on this. It certainly was not cheap and so I did hesitate and hunt around for a good price. Glad I did as I absolutely LOVE it. I have a particular dish I specifically brought it for which needs to start out on the induction hob and then end up in the oven - hence my old warped one presenting me with a bit of a challenge. It has also been used, with the rack I purchased separately, for roasting. It's an absolute pleasure to use and I love it so much I actually wash it by hand, causing the boyfriend to look at me like I had lost the plot.

Took the plunge and paid top dollar for this roasting tin. Whilst ultimately not quite big enough for an Xmas turkey, this is used every week and I am sure it will be more than up to the job as the quality is genuinely top class, with a reassuring weight to the pan and the handles. I love it. Useful knurled edge around the pan for pouring, handles a good size and usefully positioned (small things...).Also have the additional rack which works a treat, although a shame that isn't stainless steel rather than the black finish.Great product, a life-time quality purchase without a doubt, only downside it was £20 cheaper three days later - stay sharp and shop around.

As the above reviewer mentioned,the bottom edges are raised, so I guess it's possible there would be issues if used on glass / ceramic hobs.However, I use gas, and its worked perfectly on that. Also its a really high grade chrome finish which has stayed looking great so far. Also, Le Creuset have stated it is suitable for glass hobs, and I would assume they have tested it before selling given all their experience? Then again maybe not...?Overall I'm pleased with it. Perfect size for a family roast, and the usual high standard finish you come to expect from Le Creuset.

Like many others this had been in my basket for a while but finally purchased it and so glad! Its beautiful. I have the cast iron range but wanted a good roaster of a decent size, Im not disappointed. Wish i could get 2! I also have the rack which fits perfectly and after lifting the meat out its a brilliant size for doing the roast potatoes in so one pan does my whole roast dinner. Love the fact it is suitable on all heat types so can sear the meat on the hob before transferring to the oven. Wish Id bought it sooner now!

In my day to day cooking I use my oven a lot and I do require good quality oven roasting trays.This one is from a famous french company who specialises in kitchen products so I felt I will get a good product. And I am definitely not disappointed when it arrived and after I tried it few times.It provides great heat distribution when cooking or roasting, it looks stylish and feels very sturdy, and it is easy to clean and care for. Pleased with my purchase

I bought this as a present for my son and he loves it. However the first time he used it the inside surface was left mottled, even though he had followed all the instructions to the letter. On contacting Le Creuset he was told to wipe the offending surface with lemon juice. He did this and was amazed at how easily it cleaned up.

Not very big, but perfect for a small family roast. I'd recommend getting the roasting rack to go with it. Looks excellent and, as you'd expect from Le Creuset it is very well built.I've marked it down one star only because it does seem rather a lot of money for what it is.

It’s a great roaster as you’d expect from le creuset, but it arrived very scratched and scuffed in the main inner tray section, like it was used and cleaned vigorously with a metal scourer, which was such a disappointment given I bought it brand new. Roasts brilliantly.

Functions as advertised:Cooks evenly, easy to clean afterwards and even looks pretty smart.I am strongly tempted to buy a second one ...Interestingly, mine is completely flat underneath - though, as I cook on gas, this wasn't a concern/requirement for me.

This is a great roasting pan. It's solid and cooks really well. Is it worth £100+? If you use it frequently and are fussy about your roasting then I would say yes. Otherwise you could make do with a cheaper pan and still get good results.

It's smaller than I expected but that's my fault for not measuring the size! Putting that aside, It's well made, as expected for the price. And I like the fact that I can make a sauce on my induction hob after cooking a roast in the oven.

A beautiful pan to own and use. Whether you want to pay for it is something only you can answer, but I doubt you'll find better quality. One of the few kitchen utensils you'll want to make provision in your will for!

Absolutely amazing pan. I waited so many years to get one. Love it.This one is for my brother as I already have it - bought as a bundle with roasting rack for £99 totally amazing price !!! A must have in the kitchen
