A PAIR of STONEWARE Ramekin Dishes from Le Creuset in the traditional colour of 'VOLCANIC' which, in the case of these particular dishes, is almost red at the base, gradually lightening to that familiar 'orange' towards the rim.Packed in a cardboard sleeve, incorporating full STONEWARE care/use instructions, and in a cardboard outer box.5 year guarantee.Approximate size (each):7 cm diameter base, gently tapering out to 9.5 cm at the rim (widest points)Approximate maximum capacity (each) : 0.2L/7.75ozThe perfect size to use for dipping, or as an individual starter or pud, hot or cold.I have a number of these ramekins in a rainbow of colours (collected over the years) which I use for all sorts of recipes, but I often simply use them for party foods/dips at both adult gatherings and local tots' meetings, as they are robust and easy to stack/transport.These super little dishes are easy to clean, by hand - occasionally requiring a bit of a rub with a plastic brush in hot, soapy water.Mine then go in the dishwasher and still look like new; none of the colours have faded over time.LE CREUSET embossed.LE CREUSET STONEWARE cannot be used on a direct heat source.

I've got a few of these in my kitchen, and they have proved their usefulness more times than I can remember. They are excellent ramekins. They are solidly made and have lasted very well, and they look pretty enough to serve food made in them, straight to the dining table.Their diminutive size makes them very handy for all kinds of things in the kitchen. I have used mine for everything from separating egg yolks, to mixing-up a bit of cornflour thickening, to serving sauces and dips in them. They are great for using left-over pastry and filling to make a little pie or tart, and I've used them when I've had to prepare a few ingredients for a recipe, so I have them all in a row on my table, ready to throw in the mixing pan (just like TV chefs are fond of doing). They are fine in the oven, microwave and the freezer, and they cope perfectly well in the dishwasher. They really are very versatile things, and I wouldn't be without them!

I was, and I began by ordering only ordering two sets in two different colours. However, the moment I saw their jewel-like colours and realised the possibilites of their practical size, I sent off for three more sets again in different colours. And they're most definitely not for hiding away in cupboards but, stacked in differing coloured pairs along a work top, they brighten up a kitchen while taking up negligible room. Their uses? Pate, creme brulee, vitamin tablets, snacks, jellies, jams, olives and pickles, small savouries, nuts, currants and raisins! The sky's the limit and you'll wonder how you managed without them. But those colours on a dull winter's morning! Ah, those colours!

.....imagine the Côte d'Azur...on a perfect summer's day!The subtle shading of 'MARSEILLE BLUE' aims to represent the layers of colour of the sea.The range is difficult to pass by.....the turquoise blue hues on the cast iron casseroles are offset by the NEW STAINLESS STEEL knob, but 'MARSEILLE BLUE' is equally attractive, topped with the little black ceramic knob as in the

Look at the picture, read the product description and it's all true.Quality is high as one would expect from Le Creuset and they are correspondingly expensive. I'm not sure they are quite impressive enough to justify the current price tag, but the bottom line is that these are good and my wife and I can vouch for their sturdiness, cleanability and general feel.

I recieved these recently as a wedding gift and have so far used them for chocolate mousse. They hold a decent portion of food and give a professional look, I would be proud to present these for any dinner guest. They are also easy to clean. No-frills really but a great multi-use item for the kitchen cupboard.

Bought these for mum. Great quality, lovely little gradient to them (picture accurate, though perhaps they are a tiny bit brighter or lighter). For anyone unsure on the size, These are best for serving snacks, dip or single portion deserts ect. You can see other reviews on the "volcanic" set.

When I ordered these the description read 'Satin Black', and I wanted them to match two that I had already. What I received were a pair of Matt Black - an obviously different finish.Because I wanted to use them immediately I didn't have time to return/reorder another set.

Lovely colour, lovely productWhat more can i say? I bought these for my mum and she loved them as she has the dark blue range already i thought i would start her on a new colour but one that would also go with her blue set.

Unlike other Le Creuset items that I have bought those ramekins have a big "Made in China" label on the box. Kinda ruins the feeling that you're buying premium French cookware.Other than that they are pretty nice.
