Let's be straight, you're buying this set for: (1) The Colour; (2) The Brand; and (3) to make you or your wife happy. That's it.Don't fool yourself about quality or exceptional grinding mechanism or whatever else makes you feel fancy. They're pretty and you or you're wife told you she wants them in "Caribbean" to match her favorite teapot/mugs/pan/whatever...You'll live with the fact that the grind is relatively small and the screw can come loose sometimes. You'll also accept that these are made of plastic. They aren't the best and they're too expensive, but you'll take comfort in knowing they aren't junk either and they'll make you or your wife happy.Pull the trigger and score some brownie points.

I've been looking for a colourful salt and pepper mill for about a year now, while I've found some in the past the colours were too bold I wanted pastel colours and decided I'd rather wait to get exactly what I want.To be honest I'd stopped actively looking, I was down in London for the weekend and I couldn't believe I'd more or less stumbled across exactly what I'd been wanting.I realised I'd previously looked at these on Amazon but hadn't really been impressed I don't think I'd pictured them as tall as they actually are and the colours are beautiful, they look much nicer in person.I got this pink one for salt and the blue one for pepper, they work really well and look fabulous.

The quality of the grinders is fantastic. I must have owned about a dozen salt and pepper mills over the years, and there are streets ahead of anything else.Incidentally, the salt and pepper grinders are identical apart from the S and P on the top. The grinders are the same.Why only four stars if I love them so much? Well, the colour of the plastic bodies is /slightly/ different to the supposedly matching ceramic Le Creuset items (jugs, mugs, etc). It's similar, but not identical. And I'm such a fussy bugger that I think that warrants losing a star!

For some reason the salt and pepper mills I purchase in the pass never last more than 2 years, considering I don't even use them every day. So when I saw these on Amazon Lightening deal, I bought them with no hesitation.These mills are really well made, we had them for over 12 months now and it still feels like brand new (as I explained I don't use them much).

Can't knock the salt and pepper mills for there function! Goes really well with the rest of the coastal blue set on the table! But my only annoyance was that we were sent two different styles of salt and pepper mills even though they are sold as a set. One mill is printed le creuset and the other is raised writing. apart from that ideal!!

We use this with sea salt and it works like a gem. Also looks really good paired with the red pepper mill. Note that these are tall mills. I like them on the table to accompany dinner but when cooking, I prefer the smaller ones. It's a matter of preferences though. This salt mill works perfectly.

Wanted to start a Le Creuset collection a few at a time and the salt & pepper are my first items. Lovely duck-egg style teal that goes perfect in my kitchen. Look very well made and hard wearing - let's hope they live up to their name :)

Simply cannot go wrong with Le Creuset. Works well and sturdy design. If I had to fault it the tightening piece at the top is a bit large and can dig into smaller hands, you have to get used to turning the mill rather than the top.

These are great mills. A bit pricey, to be honest, but if you got them on special from Amazon as I did, they're worth it. Larger than I expected, they go really well and don't make the standard mills awkward to have.

Fantastic addition to the utensil family. Joined, of course by his cousin Pepper, they get on like a house on fire. The white isn’t as boring as you’d think (plus the missus wanted white) I’d highly recommend these.

Perfect little gem. Does the job, looks jaunty, east to clean, light weight. Quite expensive, but you’ll enjoy it long after you forget what you paid. Various colours seem to randomly go on sale, so look around.

A well designed salt mill. Exactly what you would expect from a brand like Le Creuset. However, be aware that, if you are buying it as a present, it comes in a simple plastic bag not in a presentation box.

Bought for my son who is a budding young chef. Problem is he goes to Uni in Sept... And will want to take his salt and pepper mills; these are functional and elegant, I will just have to buy some for me!

Great colour ! Already have the pepper mill in orange . Lightweight but great quality. Parcel arrived next day ... but was loose in the box ... no wrapping inside .. thankfully it survived without damage

I bought these as a present, and I am impressed by the thickness of the plastic and the general feel of this product. Unfortunately I can't comment on how good they are as they were not for me.
