I had some initial problem with the delivery but the seller was very cooperative, helpful and reliable throughout the process.The product is very good. I switched to using glass boxes for my lunch box after I read about plastic chemicals leeching into food when heated.I usually carry rice items and rarely some semi-solid foods. I have never had any leak problems . I have been using it for many months now and the lid is still working good and tight which I was initially worried for. I do however make sure that I never put the lid into the microwave while heating food. I think thats what increased its longevity.Also, the size is jut perfect for one meal.Not too heavy to carry.

I am starting to batch cook ahead of time in preparation for going back to work and having less time, and wanted something more eco-friendly than freezer bags or plastic containers. This is fantastic, especially for the price. It easily serves 4-5 people and I have made lasagnes, cottage pies, hot pots and more in it. I have frozen it with a lasagne in, which tasted even better 2 weeks later. I defrosted it in the fridge overnight and then cooked in the oven as normal (after adding grated cheese to the top) and am very happy with the result. It is easy to clean and, even after lasagnes, doesn't come out of the dishwasher with an orange tint.

I bought these dishes in 3 sizes: 0.8, 2.6 and 4 liters. All sizes are great for different purposes. I got them mostly for storing food in the fridge, as I'm trying to get rid of plastic, and I especially love the 4 liter one for storing big salads or my washed and dried lettuce. It's also great if you want to bake a big casserole of something to have throughout the week. They stack really nicely and my fridge looks so neat when most of my food is stored in these. Plus food is much easier to find when you can see exactly what you have through the glass. I hope the plastic lids will fare well in time as they're quite sturdy. I've had them for a few months now and so far so good!

i love using my glass tupperware as i have studied the effects of heating, freezing and storing foods in direct contact with plastics and i want to eradicate all of these from my routine.the dish itself is perfect size for storing in fridge or freezer or use in microwave, and holds enough for one large meal or two small ones. it's also good to have a couple of these and bake something in them like two sheppard's pies, which would easily fit in the oven side by side, and then perhaps freeze or refrigerate one of them with the lid put on for later.i love this product and i'm going to buy lots and use them all the time.

Excellent product. Easy to clean and very durable, as I dropped one onto a tiled floor and although there was a loud bang upon impact thankfully neither the dish nor the tiles were damaged.Far more healthy to use the dish in a microwave than the usual Tupperware type containers.After using the product for several months the lids quickly become discoloured when reheating curries, chillies etc.It doesn't bother me but for the more fussy use something else to cover the dish when doing this, something like a splatter guard which are cheap.What I have said doesn't, in my opinion, detract from this excellent product.

I recommend waiting until these drop down to £5, which happens regularly on this item.As I write this, current price of £6 is a good deal, but £5 is a total bargain.I found the first one I bought so useful and such good value I bought a 2nd a couple of months later.By now I am sure you know Pyrex by reputation - strong, durable and hard wearing cookware that is oven, dishwasher and microwave safe.Having the lid also gives the flexibility to store in your fridge/freezer, which is an excellent bonus.Really cannot go wrong with some of these in your home,so stop dithering and buy it!

I have purchased two of these in different sizes, so decided to buy third. They clean so easily, compare to stainless steel. I will never go back to using anything stainless steel in the oven because of these. I did have one arrive with slight scratches and a small chip but, Amazon sorted out the issue immediately without any fuss. I love that once these have cooled down with a bit of foil over the top in summer to protect from flies, that afterwards you can just put a lid on it and put it straight in the fridge without having to decant into something that can be sealed tight.

I needed a couple of containers that I could do brining in. This does the job brilliantly as the pyrex bowl/dish can be sealed with the lid and placed in the fridge without the worry of slight tilts causing the raw meat contaminated brining liquid to spill out. As was the case when I previously sealed with cling film.Still early days for how long the lid seal will remain a solid seal but until this changes I can not fault the product and thus the 5 Stars.As with most prime backed deliveries, arrived next day as expected.

These are just wonderful. I use them for every kind of oven dish from crumbles to macaroni cheese. The glass dish is much deeper than any other casserole dish I’ve come across...... great for lasagne or mussels. The lids are not meant to be leak proof but makes them easier to store in fridge and stop dripping into food. In my case the cat helping himself ! I’ve got4 of them and have been using them for about 3 years. The kids to split in the corner if put into hot glass immediately , so wait for it to cool down.

I use this for both taking my lunch to work (rather than using plastic containers which, my mother tells me, are cancerous if heated in the microwave, who knows if she's right!) and for cooking. I recently made a gratin dauphinois in the oven with this and it was just perfect. They look as good as knew. The lid can get a little greasy sometimes, and it's a little difficult to de-grease. But all in all I would absolutely recommend this product, and in fact I have three.

Really useful containers and a great size for two people - especially when you're freezing currys/chillis, etc. as you can put them straight into the microwave/oven after thawing (remembering to remove the plastic lid!). They're also stackable and don't take up much room in your freezer, so ideal. I was delighted to receive these the day after ordering - very well packaged. Excellent service thanks, highly recommended!

I am amazed that this hasn't been considered as a storage option just because it was a little more expensive than empty plastic containers with lids. The neat appearance and convenient sizing make these a perfect solution for my minimal sized fridge with even minimal-er (?!) shelf storage space.Food taste is preserved and no discernible odour leakage occurs when storage extends beyond minimum guide times.

Perfect cooking dish. The glass is thick and won't break easily. The lid hasn't warped yet which is a problem I have had with other dishes. In my quite small oven it fits another small tray next to it on one shelf so it is perfect for an oven with limited space. I also use it to store soup, left over pizza, pasta dishes if I want to save them for the next day. Glass is perfect for this as it doesn't stain.

Bought this as a gift for someone starting out with their new home. I have the same lidded dish and it’s excellent. Great for making lasagne as it’s a good size and depth. Having a lid makes it handy for covering and storing food in the fridge, either until you are ready to cook it or reheat. I’ve had my Pyrex dish for many years now and hope that this gift will also last for a long time.

I bought 3 of these for salads, to prepare in advance for a summer party. Being rectangular, they maximise fridge space. I have also used them for hot dishes such as lasagne, which can go straight from fridge to oven. You don't need to cover them with foil or clingfilm when storing in the fridge, because they have well-fitting plastic lids. (NB Don't put the lids in the oven).
