Absolutely excellent! I had already purchased something from on here that said it'd do the job, it was useless AND dangerous because it overheated as well as not working, so I sent it back - whereas THIS item has been superb. It downloads quickly via USB 2 into a Windows 10 laptop, whereupon on screen I was offered all the options I wanted, click, click, Bob's your uncle, sorted perfectly. Well pleased. The reader did what it was supposed to do perfectly. I had a high capacity micro card that would not be recognised by my laptop inbuilt card reader but with the Hama reader plugged into the laptop usb port, the laptop could register the microcard and this allowed me to recover the files I needed.I also used the reader to transfer photos from a SD card to my tablet and 174 pics transferred in less than 2 minutes. Easy to use, good performance.

I bought this to go with my new camera to save all the hassle of cables etc when transferring photos and was not disappointed. It's very easy to use, the software was quickly installed once I plugged it in (Windows Vista found it straight away) and I got my photos into the laptop in a trice. I haven't tried the mini SD in it though, but would assume it's all ok.

Great for anybody who just wants to take a card from a camera and stick it in a printer.Hey Presto your photo's are in your picture folder in a jiffy.
