My new Huawei Matebook D 14 2020 laptop comes without a card reader. This seemed like a cost effective remedy.I am pleased, the card reader works as advertised and at USB 3 transfer speeds. I have shown the results when tested with a Samsung Ultra 256GB micro SD card. My only minor gripe was that the full SD slot was very tight when first used. However, that has improved over time.So, its a very reasonably prices USB 3 card reader for SD and micro SD cards. It does the job as advertised and is certainly a bargain when compared with rip-off high street prices.It is a small unit - so it fits easily into a pocket of my laptop carry-case. I am very happy with my purchase.

This SD card adaptor is compact, robust, and the short cable gives you some flexibility with access. I ran a speed check with CrystalDiskMark on Windows 10. Sequential reads reached 96MB/s and writes 38MB/s when connected to a USB3 port. This was using a Sandisk Ultra microSD XC card. This is roughly 4x and 2x faster than a USB2 reader/writer.My only criticism is that it doesn't have a LED to show that it's connected properly, or that it's reading or writing. In the grand scheme of things it's a small complaint given that it does its job well and is very cheap.

Very pleased with this. Even if your computer already has card readers, flying connectors like this are always useful. I became a bit concerned when my old Dinasaur XP computer was unable to read a 128 gig micro SDXC card with this device, but I later realised that this wasn't the connectors fault - alas - it was because my old computer can only read cards formatted in FAT 32, as opposed to "Ex Fat" which is what this SDXC card was formatted to! So yes, very pleased and yes - I would buy another one if I needed to. Hope this helps you.

This is the 2nd adaptor I have ordered from this company and once again and it's a no nonsense piece of kit that looks and feels well made; delivery has been really quick to. I bought this to allow me to transfer files between between the new "The C64" (also known as the C64maxi) to and from an original Commodore 64c from the 1980's. The later has an SD adapter that fits in to the 6 pin din serial port; Now all i need to do, to transfer files, is swap an SD card between them..

After faffing around for hours trying to get my pc card reader to recognise the 64gb micro sd card I'd just bought and finding out that although the pc was just over a year old the card reader design was older. Even after updating it it would still not recognise any sd card over 4gb. So decided to buy this external card reader. What a joy! Just plugged it into the pc's usb port, inserted the micro card and away it went. No problems and what a relief, it was so easy.

I needed a replacement card reader for my iMac. I've bought superb HiFi cables from UGreen and so i decided to go for their 2 slot SD / micro-SD card reader. This little gadget has a very sturdy cable connection and appears to be well built. I simply plugged it into the USB slot and it fire up straight away. Very fast and efficient reading and data transfer. It's also robust, small and light enough to take travelling. Well pleased and can fully recommend.

This product works well with Windows 10 and Android. Despite the product spec. indicating compatibility with Windows XP it is not directly compatible when it is required to access high capacity cards. It is necessary to either to reformat cards to NTFS or to install an exFAT driver. The latter would be preferable to maintain compatibility across all devices, however a 32 bit version is no longer available from Microsoft.

Very fast data transfers and very well built. feels like a premium product without the price tag! My 90mbps SD card transfers at about 88-89mbps which makes video transfers much faster than my previous SD reader. The cable length could be an issue of you don't have access to front USB ports, but the plus side is that it is really easy to store in a camera bag or laptop bag. Great product! Nice one Ugreen.

this product is good, used it already and is super fast when transferring large files from sd card to micto sd card etc. micro sd card recognized instantly and just could't understand why the sd card slots is upside down. It doesn't bother me now that I know but i have to keep my eyes on the kids if they use it and force the sd card in the wrong way.

Only as of yet used it a couple of times but unlike many I have bought in the past the cards were recognised instantly, I fix most things on my desk with Bluetac and have done so with this and am able to put in and remove cards without trouble, in all a nice product, just hoping it lasts a lot longer than other card readers I have had.

Having recently bought a DSLR camera and lacking a native set of memory-card/SD-card readers I decided to buy this one, and it works perfectly, not sure on transfer speeds if that's an issue but I have no complaints, it's a fantastic little dongle that supports multiple formats, does exactly what it says on the tin at a decent price.

Bought this to read a few SD cards I have and it certainly read them and wrote to them.If your looking for something to read your mind or palm your in the wrong small struggling pub that will book anything to bring in more people but if your looking for something to read your SD cards you in the right place son.

Perfect replacement for my old Belkin unit, and needed for new SD-HC card for new Mazda sat nav, as the maps & software are updated from your PC. Stores away in drawer when not required, with handy USB cap.Small lightweight unit, very quick at data copying when linked to USB 3 port. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a speedy (usb3) SD card reader to replace my much older card reader. This seemed a good punt. Quite right too. Now, I just needed a card reader, I did not use any formatting facility etc so bear this in mind. This device worked well. Quick and just plug in and use.

Well built solid quality adapter. The speed increase gained from being USB 3.0 is certainly noticed.The 16cm cable between the adapter and the USB plug means it does not clash with any other items I might have plugged in. This will be packed with my photo/pc kit whenever I travel
