I got this device some time ago, although it is like a box that is connected to the computer with a USB cable. It is not plugged straight to the USB port in a flash memory fashion. I bought it from Integral Memory, and everything went all right. In my case the device does what it is meant to do, although I have only tried the SD slot. In the device itself it says that there is a slot for XD cards, so I assume that it will be. In total I have 6 different card formats I can use. Unfortunately I haven't use more than the SD so I cannot say more.It is true that it feels cheap and not very strongly build, but it was cheap any way and I don't think I will need anything that will stand the hit of a meteorite. So far so good and I am happy with it, within the limitations of a very partial use.

this is a great reader, very fast and efficient and very cheap. only problem I had with it was using an old CF card, it doesnt say on the rather primitive instructions which come with the reader which way up you have to insert some of the cards. I spent a few minutes trying to get the CF card in before I tried it the other way round, in the process I bent one of the connection wires inside the socket. luckily didnt break it so managed to straighten it out but be careful some cards appear to go in 'upside down' Worked fine for my other cards. clearer instructions needed methinks but top value.

this great little card reader works really well. never any issues at all just gets on speedily with the job. like when my girlfriends Sony memory stick played up and wouldn't let her camera ( and also a photo shop - would you believe) format her disk. i popped her disk into this little reader formatted it from my com and hey presto her camera accepted card, and card works fine. other types of card work well on this reader as well.can definitely recommend. Sometimes good things don't have to cost a lot.

I have used every slot on this device and can confirm that all work. I would suggest that other people having problems try their card in a different reader, as their cards are most likely at fault. Memory cards are notorious for going wrong, with read and write problems.I love this device as a memory card appears instantly, as soon as its plugged in. File transfers are quick (the speeds are affected by speed of target device, memory card, usb bus speed and and file size).Definitely recommend!

This is smaller than I thought (that's a good thing), seems sturdy so I expect it to be reliable (comes with the cable). Straightforward to use, just plug it in (no software needed). I bought it specifically for the Sony memorystick pro-duo function - my last multi-card reader stopped working and I hadn't realised the cards are 'out of date' now and the readers hard to get hold of. Really pleased with it, means I can keep using my favourite camera.

For something that is so cheap, and flimsy looking, it does exactly as you need it for, reading cards from cameras, and not just one, it has many card slots for a whole host of memory cards.I had a problem retrieving the photos off my camera due to the program not recognising the card, but this is so simple, you put the USB into the computer, pop the card in and it reads it automatically, no fiddley disc installations, and its done in seconds.

For the amount paid I certainly won't complain about it. It does have the feel of something made cheaply, but it works. Plug it into a USB port and several new drive letters appear in Windows Explorer. Plug a card into the device and an LED lights to let you know it is reading it, which is just as well because otherwise it isn't easy to tell if you have inserted it correctly. Cheap and does the job required.

Another magic small box, with different slots for different cards,I need it to transfer / copy pictures & songs from my PC into my SD card for my digital photo frame which was so easy to do by using multi card reader just plug in & play. You can use transfer files or pictures, music or video clips from any memory card to your PC or from your PC to any SD cards or between any SD memory cards.

Product description says it all - it's an Integral USB 2.0 MultiCard Reader, which reads Memory Stick, MS PRO, Microdrive, MMC, SD, MS Duo, xD, MS PRO Duo, miniSD, CF, RS-MMC, TransFlash, MMCmobile, microSD, MMCplus and connects via Hi-Speed USB to your computer. The price is much cheaper than the shops and it works w/ all the cards I've tried so far, so I would highly recommend it!

As my PC didn’t have a SD card reader, I decided to purchase a addon, this product caught my eye, the only slots I tired were SD Slot and micro SD slots, which work perfectly except the micro SD slot, not sure if it was my Micro SD not being read or it’s the product, however as I have an adapter for micro SD to SD it is not a problem using this product and I love it

Arrived on time, and its so small, however on connecting it to my pc it performed so much better than my internal reader. So much so that i was able to recover a micro sd card from being dumped as my pc just said there was a sd card but with no space. Using this new dinky little reader i recovered the full 16GB. Tried variou cards and all worked perfectly .

I purchased this product about a month ago and have used it on a number of occasions now. Not only was it cheep but it is very effective. I have bought similar products in the past that I have had trouble powering up via the USB slot and have had to move them about before they would take but this comes with a separate cable and so it works every time.

Product does what it says onthe tin. It reads memory cards. No hassle, no fuss, straight USB connection and it's going. Got mine for work, used many times from purchase and no problems.Cheap and chearful, may not be the best looking card reader but hey, you only want it for what's it's designed for.Best value for money it has to be. Go buy it.

I needed to retrieve some photos off a large flashcard so did a bit of digging around on Amazon and came across this. I have to say that for the money, it is excellent. No problem whatsoever, I just plugged it in popped in the flashcard and my files were instantly there and ready to copy onto my PC. Great little product and a great price too.
