The installation is easy! Easily one of the best features of this device and the app really helps walk you through everything! I initially had trouble connecting it to my wifi even though the signal appeared fairly healthy/strong but after several restarts of disconnecting and reconnecting it finally started working and has been great ever since. There is the occasional lag between when the door bell rings and the notification goes off but the solution to this was increasing the motion range. =)

My Ring Doorbell was well packaged & easy to install. It fitted straight into the existing peep hole perfectly. The digital set up was a breeze, I downloaded the app & it all linked together very quickly. Install & set up took less than 15 minutes. It works well, the door bell notifies me whenever there is activity at the front of my house. You can manage the distance to reduce or increase what activity the doorbell picks up.The picture and voice function is very clear in the daytime & at night.

This is an amazing discrete camera that was easy and quick to install where our peep hole was. This is good for detecting motion with a wide field of view and great night vision. Ours does pick up the road traffic a bit but this could be adjusted but we prefer the extra sensitivityDefinitely buy the plan to store and view old motion but if you need constant visuals one of the hardwired versions might be better as this will take snapshots every 15mins but hardwired will take them more frequent

This door view cam is PERFECT for everyone, especially the elderly, ppl who live in flats, single mothers, even ppl avoiding bailiffs! Those with a peephole knocker may find installation a little more challenging. I however decided to attempt fitting the door cam independently, which was easier than expected. The peephole part needed was a couple of pounds from b&q and the rest (thanks to YouTube) made it a breeze. Ring view cam is AWESOME! Superb quality, crystal clear image & no sound delay.

This purchase was has a direct result of me suffering the effects of me having had a number of items stolen from my front garden. The 3 adult members that reside at my address now have the application that comes with the device installed on our phone. Nobody can now open my front gate without us knowing the CCTV and Audio coverage is faultless and I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone at all it has most certainly gone a long way toward reassuring me significantly.

I was worried by the lack of instructions but very straight forward to fit. Downloaded the app I had a couple of minor issues connecting to the doorbell but I watched the video and bingo connected. you can select privacy areas so you don't get motion notifications for your neighbour. picture clarity is great there is a slight delay loading the picture I am slow getting to the door now I can see who's there and tell them I am on my way or if cold callers tell them no thank you. I love it

When it arrived it came in a very nicely presented box with a Ring branded sleeve cover. Inside you get everything you need to setup and start working straight away.The install was quick and easy anyone could do it no drilling literally unscrew push in and tighten on .The install looks neat and very modern and also feels very secure.5-6 hours it states online to get to 100% before first use.Overall this Ring door view seems to do everything that’s stated on the packaging as described!

Unboxed, read fitting instructions, it all looked so easy. It was only when I went to install it that I realised that my pep hole went through my door knocker, beware this happens on a lot of modern doors. However once removed the knocker fitted in minutes. Downloaded the app and set the doorbell up and paired with my phone in no time. Easy to add other family members. Starts recording and let's you know when it detects movement or when someone rings the bell. Recordings clear even at night.

This peephole door bell is perfect for me, I like to be in the garden and it's so handy because your phone notifies me, I also have it connected to my alexa and so handy because I have music on and alexa stops to tell me someone is at the door. The knock feature is amazing too because not everyone rings the bell so it detects the knock at the door and tells me that too. Parcel coming was great I just answered the door whilst at the park and asked them to drop it to my neighbour perfect

Nice quality product , installation not as easy as it looked on the video , more thought has to go into it , the thickness of your door needs to be taken into consideration , the doorbell will not tighten and engage with the thread if your door is too thin. I got round this problem by using plastic adhesive padding , which provided the extra thickness needed to tighten the door bell to my door.Good security , and battery life good .Would recommend purchasing an additional battery.

This Ring doorbell has a rechargeable battery, so it does not need to be hard wired. Installation was as simple as removing the current peephole and inserting the Ring doorbell from either end of the door.The setup process was straight forward, with video tutorials to guide you through. I enabled alerts when there was movement outside our front door as well as when someone knocks rather than rings the doorbell. Receiving alerts on an on your smartwatch is also a neat feature.

Good camera night and day, easy to set up, I did this within minutes. Only issue I had was the sound with people talking at the doorstep, I couldn’t hear them although my voice was really loud coming out of it. Apparently it’s a common problem but all you have to do to solve it is go into the ring app, turn off the event timeline tab and it’s sorted, apparently that interferes with the mic. So it’s a app issue not the doorbells fault .Will get more of these for the back

Nicely packed and good to have something that is easy to install. It took about 15-20 mins to install the instructions where very easy to follow to.when trying it out the picture was nice and clear the only thing I found is it takes a second or two to come through but I think that depends on the speed of your broadband. The look of it is good would be nice to be able to pic different colours but over all a brilliant door view cam and would highly recommend

Saw the adverts and thought yeah right blah blah blah. But I purchased the Ring Door View Cam and literally love it. Easy to fit,their customer service is excellent (had a few issues setting up but that was down to my phone) and hey presto I have a working item with great video clarity. I have connected it to my Alexa and so that informs me of movement when I am home and don't have my mobile near me. Fantastic product and am wry happy with it so far.

Instructions could be a little clearer but a quick watch of the video online explained it all better. Fitting was quick and easy and after downloading the app we were connected within a few minutes. So many great features to help your home feel that bit more safe and secure, can also still be used as a normal peephole if you prefer. Overall I recommend this product if you're looking to up your home security system, especially when you're not home.
