We have Nest thermostats installed in our house and decided to give the Nest Cam outdoor a shot out of all of the products on the market. We are absolutely glad we did. First, the product easily integrates into our Nest universe with a simple scanning of a bar code on the product from the Nest app. Just like that the product is WiFi networked and ready to go. Second, the installation was absolutely a breeze. Instead of using traditional rigid mount arms or brackets, Nest uses these clever high power magnets that ensure your camara will stay in place but can easily be rotated to cover your home appropriately with its 130 deg. field of view. The power cord for the camera was amazingly long making it easy to connect to a power source.

The good: If you already have an outdoor outlet close to where you plan on installing it, you’re in luck! The if you own a ladder and a power drill this install won’t take long at all. Picture quality is great from 1-10 feet and good from 11-20. From close distance you can see facial structure and from 11-20 feet you can easily look at activity. (People walking, pets and So on) the standard price for a camera of this quality is great. The app is also very easy to use and understand. The app sends notifications when it detects movement or sound and you can easily turn features on or off. The bad: not everyone has an outdoor outlet, and whoever does doesn’t have one 10 feet in the air.

Bought an Outdoor Nest Cam for our Wisconsin cabin that is not heated in the winter unless we are up there, and put it on the inside. Very pleased with this camera. We have an excellent clear picture of the cabin anytime we want it, night or day. The night vision is just as good as day. We were most impressed by this. The alerts for sounds or motion works fabulously! Very comforting to be able to see the cabin any time we want and know we will get a notification if anything is up, that shouldn't be. Thought we had an issue one day when we got a notification the camera was offline. Turned out to be a power outage in the area.

I have purchased two NEST Outdoor Cameras in the past month. One each for different sections of my home property. Set up and installation of the cameras was very easy. The instructions were easy to read and follow. I recommend planning out your installation location paying specific attention to power supply availability and viewing area due to obstacles. I drilled 1 inch holes through my stucco walls and placed a one inch PVC pipe through the hole. I then ran the electrical cable for the camera through the PVC pipe. The power cable fit perfectly. I then plugged the cameras into indoor electrical outlets. I love the magnet mounting system for this camera.

LOVE these new camera's. We have (still up) two Uniden non-HD cameras. One of these has replaced BOTH old Uniden's. The wide-angle viewing is excellent. The clarity is awesome. I run a Netgear NightHawk X10 Router and have had no issues with disconnects. That being said, I invested in a second camera for my back yard. Again, replacing a Uniden camera - just one though. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized the viewing range covers my entire back yard and not just half, like with the old camera!Being able to have video store online, in the cloud, is a great option for security purposes. Being able to create videos is another great feature.You won't be sorry for purchasing one,

Foremost, the packaging is beyond excellent. The box is tight and calculated in every detail. Every component, accessory, hardware and contents are engineered to final placement in the box. You feel special as you unpackage it. Fantastic job here Nest.The video is excellent. The app is easy to use and had only a 2 second delay from actual event to notification and display on my phone. The accuracy is 100% so far and have no doubt that it will not falter below 100%. Outside animals are identified. For ex., my wife leaves for work at 4 am in the dark. After installing the next morning she woke me up and said the Camera had notified of something outside and was immediately concerned.

When we purchased our new home I looked into several brands and tested quite a few others that friends owned. In the end, I bought two outdoor and one indoor Nest cams. Installation was a breeze, and even though it took me a couple of hours to mount the outdoor cams, it was still a relatively simple project. I chose to drill through my siding to plug in the outdoor cams indoors for security reasons, so I just wish they'd make a smaller middle power connector so I could've drilled a smaller hole. Really, that's my only "complaint." The app is so much better than any of the other cameras I tried, but most especially my old ATT Digital Life app for viewing my old security cameras.

When you have every thing you love and cherish at the location we call home. There is no better way to protect and take care of them in just about any situation that might arise. With the nest security system and monitoring of all or you house hold potential problems being monitored 24/7 the nest lets me know i have them all covered. If i was to leave the house no more guessing whether i locked the door or did i turn down the heater. When i am not at home i can see who has approached the front and back doors if there has been any deliveries for me. Talk to anyone who rings the doorbell. Unlock the door if i want them to leave the package inside the house.

First off I have everything nest I love nest products, I bought the nest outdoor camera 2 pack for myself and my father the cameras were easy to install nest included everything you need in one small package. Easy instructions a (first grader could install nest products lol) setup on the app is quick and easy and the beautiful app design and features lets you share your home system with someone else on the app. The1080p and wide angle are the best out there and I have tried many home security systems also the alerts you can setup many different options it’s way better than even having a old fashion alarm system. The alerts come straight to your phone so you know exactly what’s going on.

Really really impressed with this camera. Set up was a breeze. Some people have mentioned the fact you need to drill a hole for the power cable, but we found the power cable so thin, it just goes through the side of our window and the window can still be fully closed without damaging it the cable. It's one of the clearest 1080p pictures on any camera i've ever seen. You get the odd buffering, but nothing major. The only downside is (although I don't personally see it as a downside, but some might) is the fact you need to pay £8 a month for a Nest Aware subscription to store old footage and clips. I fully knew this before buying, so didn't feel cheated, but some people may. To sum up... Great camera,

It took me a while to do my research for a wifi camera. I was flopping between the Ring and Nest. Ultimately I went with the Nest and I'm glad I did. For the start, I didn't have any problems setting it up. It was easy and fast! The interface or UI for Nest is also really easy to navigate to. My mom who isn't all that savvy with technology can navigate on it. The quality of the video is also unbelievable. And with the Nest Aware, I love the fact that you can create timelapse and of course keep video for in my case 5-days. In the case, in the future, if I need to provide evidence to the police of a home invader. I started with one camera and now I'm fully invested with the Nest Eco.

We love this camera. We started out with the nest thermostat to regulate our heat in the winter. We talked about getting a camera, but just never found the time or money. My daughter has the nest and many of the options including cameras. For Christmas she gave us a camera. Once I installed it, we were hooked. The ability to see who is coming and going around our house and vehicles when we are not home is priceless. The picture is clear and the alerts on the phone are great. We will be buying additional cameras as money allows. We will also purchase a couple smoke detectors as well. We will not need a security service as we will be able to monitor our house ourselves to determine when 911 needs to be called.

I've own nest products, specially cameras, for years starting with the dropcams. Within the last month i've started to upgrade to the newer nest indoors, outdoors, and IQ's to cover all areas of my home, inside and out. The best thing about these cameras as that they just work. Once I get it set up I never have to mess with it. Wireless connectivity is extremely long compared to competitors and setup is extremely easy. I don't know how many other "smart" products that can't even get past app setup. So for the high price, you get quality, reliability, looks good, and just works. The only area of improvement would be the waterproof connector being permanent.

I got the nest Secure thought T-Mobile and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The alarm system works flawlessly and the quality of the cameras is great. I had the Arlo cameras from Netgear before, and they were good but since they were battery powered, they would only record when sensing movement. Now having 24/7 video recording is unbeatable, also I don't have to deal with changing batteries every now and then. Bottom line is you will not regret getting the nest cam or the nest Secure system. It's worth the money and peace of mind having my family a little bit more secure. Did I mention the quality of the camera is great? Can't stress that enough.Oh one more thing! The unboxing experience is awesome,
