I bought this for my wife's car as it is very useful for adapting into the PC slot of the stereo you get with the Honda CRV for turning the car into a mobile I-Tunes library. With a 32MB card she has loads of her favourite songs to listen to as well as some of the latest kiddy friendly tunes to keep our son happy and the adapter works perfectly to both load music onto the card and also to fit into the car's stereo. I was a bit baffled when we first got the car and how we would be able to essentially link up her Ipod but this product does the same job and with the stereo you now get a perfect library at your finger tips. The quality of the actual adapter is very good and is pretty sturdy which I liked as we had to move to and fro from the car to the computer to set the library up in the first place. I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of purchasing it.

I got this adapter for a 2008 Honda CRV. Having read many reports that the Honda can have pretty significant compatibility issues with some brands/types of adapters, I was very thankful for the other reviews that said it was working for them. And, as claimed, this fit and worked just fine. I bought the Transcend 8 GB CF card (TS8GCF133) to go with it. Honda's limit of 999 objects (files and folders) took up just about 4 GB for me.The transfer rate was extremely slow. It took between 2 and 2.5 hours to copy everything over. Thankfully, it will be pretty rare to have to do that again.Overall, this is a very good choice for a Honda system.

I bought this CF card adapter following a great deal of research on the CRV owners club site (which had me concerned as it appeared a lot of adapters and cards will not work) and reading the reviews here (which helped me a lot). I ordered the San Disk 2GB Ultra 15 MB/S CF card to go with this adapter. Both arrived on the same day and after a few minutes of loading some music on the card I tried it in my 08 CRV. No problems - it loaded instantly, was recognised and played perfectly. Many thanks to the above reviewers who gave the advice concerning the CRV; you are spot on and at these prices there is no worry.

Bought this because it is compatible with my ageing PowerBook G3's (Wallstreet's) Quite handy to boot off this device in the PC slots. Also handy to add updates downloaded on an incompatible device such as a Windows PC or my MacBook. A USB adaptor for CF cards will connect to the modern devices and the 1-, 2-, 4- or 8GB CF card can be swapped easily to the older device. Very handy for transferring large files rather than using the Wallstreet's wireless card.Came in a little plastic case to protect it.Well packed and delivered to Belfast, NI.HIghly recommended especially for Mac fans!

I bought this adaptor together with a Transcend 8GB 133x Ultra Speed Compact Flash card to use with my 2007 Honda CR-V music player. I had heard that the Honda system could be a bit picky about what cards it would work with so did a little research on the internet before buying this combination of adaptor and card. It works like a charm :)Now have access to loads of music in the car without messing about with CD's. So much more convenient. The card and adapter worked with no problems on my laptop to transfer the mp3 files and then slotted right in to the car music player. Very happy.

Bought this adapter to use in my 2008 Honda EX CRV SatNav/Entertainment system so I can play my music collection in the car in the same way as I would with an mp3 player. Having read several negative comments from forums about problems in general with using adapters I was somewhat wary. However this adapter allowed my compact flash card filled with mp3 & wma files to be recognised by my Honda straight away so it is smiles all round. Now to look for some more old compact flash cards I no longer use with my dslr........a use at last.

I've purchased two of these adapters for use with the navigation/audio system in Honda vehicles. So far they've been the only way I've been able to get music to play on the nav system through the expansion slot behind the screen. I previously tried an SD card with a 5-in-1 reader only to find out that those types of readers don't work in that type of application. If you're looking to use the slot in Honda vehicles for music playback, this reader and a CF card are the way to go.

I bought this adaptor, as have others, for use in a Honda CR-V audio system. The adaptor of choice seemed to be the SanDisk product but this was not easy to find so I went for the Transcend and bought a Transcend CF card to go with it (4GB). It appears to work perfectly with the Honda audio system so I am well pleased with both items. The adaptor seems to be well made and very solid. Let's hope it remains reliable over time - so far so good.

Bought this for my 09 Uk Honda cr-v ex dti, does the job perfectly, also bought an 8gb transcend cf card that works great. There may be a limit to the number of (song) files that the cr-v can read from a single card so using 8gb cards or bigger may not be worth it. If I figure this out I'll post back. So great not to have to burn CDs anymore, they never lasted more than a few months before they'd skip and eventually be unplayable

Whilst this is primarily a device for laptops, I bought it for use on a Commodore Amiga A1200.It is also compatible with an Amiga A600 as well, enables you to hot swap a Compact Flash card between real Amiga and laptop for ease of copying files across.I use it for cross development, using WinUAE on the laptop to develop, and then copy results to test on actual Amiga hardware for final playtesting.Sturdy construction.

Does EXACTLY what it says on the tin. Insert in to Laptop, Insert CF card, off you go!For absolute perfection it would be nice if it had a little sprung door on it to stop dust getting in when empty. Also it would be nice if it had an eject button similar to the PCMCIA port - you have to pull out the whole unit to remove your CF card. That's asking a lot for the price but stops me giving it a perfect score.

I have an old arranger keyboard, the Roland G-70. Recently it`s SSD ran full, no wonder since it only has a 50mb capacity. But then I discovered that it also has an option for external memory card. I needed an adapter for Compact Flash, which was`nt easy to find in a Norwegian store. Found this product online, and since I own an old CF card I now have 4gb of memory on my G-70 at my disposal.

Used the Transcend card adapter with a 16 GB card in my Fostex FR2 digital recorder. It work like a charm giving me 8 hours of recording time. Only downside was that I could not dump using the USB cable hooked to the Fostex. Had to take the card out manually and insert into my laptop computer slot. Offload was a bit slower than expected but the extended recording time was worth it.

Not much to say about an item like this ...either it works or it doesn`t. I got it for use with a 1gig flash memory card for my Roland Fantom X7 keyboard. And to which it works great. Good quality to me and slides in and fits well in the slot while not hanging out the back of the board much. I`m happy with it and if I need more, I wouldn`t hesitate to buy more. Inexpensive really.

This item works great with my Nav System in my 2011 Honda EX-L CR-V. I transferred the songs from my computer to my Compact Flash memory card, inserted it in this adapter, installed the adapter in the car stereo/Nav system and it sounds great. Load your music CDs on the compact flash card and organize them by separate Albums, artist, or create separate files/playlist.
