I too ordered this when it stated that it was a "set" and I too only initially received the pepper mill. However my subsequent experience seems to have been exceptionally positive compared to that of other people. I contacted Amazon support when I noticed the missing item. They told me to keep the pepper mill I had already received and they would send a whole new set as well. I was overwhelmed. When the replacement arrived it too was a pepper mill only. I contacted Amazon support again and they offered that I keep both items and they would also refund half of the cost I had paid for the set, given the missing salt mill. I don't understand all the negative reviews here. When you have world-class support from Amazon,

I ordered this peppermill because I loved the typical design and trust the maker, but I had some troubles at first.Despite the item wasn't on stock, I got it delivered in just two daysArrived in excellent condition, the item is sturdy and looks great on the kitchen top, the plastic is coloured and not painted, this means that will never change discolour or look old, the actual mill is in hardened ceramic a crushes black pepper without efforts at all.As it'll arrive covered in dust and in one of those books boxes opened on sides without plastic bags or boxes protecting it, I suggest to clean it thoroughly, on "Le Creuset" website,

I've been looking for a colourful salt and pepper mill for about a year now, while I've found some in the past the colours were too bold I wanted pastel colours and decided I'd rather wait to get exactly what I want.To be honest I'd stopped actively looking, I was down in London for the weekend and I couldn't believe I'd more or less stumbled across exactly what I'd been wanting.I realised I'd previously looked at these on Amazon but hadn't really been impressed I don't think I'd pictured them as tall as they actually are and the colours are beautiful, they look much nicer in person.I got this blue one for pepper and the pink one for salt, they work really well and look fabulous.

For some reason the salt and pepper mills I purchase in the pass never last more than 2 years, considering I don't even use them every day. So when I saw these on Amazon Lightening deal, I bought them with no hesitation.These mills are really well made, we had them for over 12 months now and it still feels like brand new (as I explained I don't use them much).

This pepper mill looks and works great. Just be warned if you're buying the set of pepper & salt mill together. I bought the salt mill to go with the pepper mill however the salt mill is another story, its performance in the kitchen is poor and the salt sticks to the bottom of the mill.

I love all le creuset products as they are classics and have beautiful colours. I also bought the teapot in the same colour and had many people complimenting on the items. Will slowly keep adding to the le creuset stock and I'm sure I will have them forever.

This is a well made, easy to use, attractive pepper grinder. As an item you use multiple times a day it is well worth getting a good one, and this is a good one. The grinding mechanism is obviously well made, and the the grinding is easy.

Wanted to start a Le Creuset collection a few at a time and the salt & pepper are my first items. Lovely duck-egg style teal that goes perfect in my kitchen. Look very well made and hard wearing - let's hope they live up to their name :)

Simply cannot go wrong with Le Creuset. Works well and sturdy design. If I had to fault it the tightening piece at the top is a bit large and can dig into smaller hands, you have to get used to turning the mill rather than the top.

Bought this as a gift. The person I bought this for seemed really happy with it, so thats why 5 stars.Personally, it felt like plastic. I expected a higher feeling quality for the price, but I didn't buy it for me.

Just gorgeous to look at. Also tested it immediately with peppercorns i had bought prior and found it to do a superbly fine and easy grind whilst allowing the pepper to come through at a reasonable rate

I use it as a pepper mill and it’s perfect. It can be adjusted to grind the pepper very fine if required. I have other Le Creuset kitchen items and the pepper mill doesn’t disappoint. Would recommended.

This is a partner (in a different colour) to the salt grinder in the same range. Bought on the strength of manufacturers past reputation. Works well so far. Excellent quality - tho' a little expensive !

I bought these as a present, and I am impressed by the thickness of the plastic and the general feel of this product. Unfortunately I can't comment on how good they are as they were not for me.

Fantastic quality, grinds the peppercorns easily into a fine powder. Highly recommend after my old Peugot grinders gave me nothing but problems and stopped working after only a few uses
