Despite frequent use, perhaps about 3-4 times a month on average and sometimes 2 or 3 within a week, it still looks quite good. There are a few stains and scorch marks but nothing too dramatic. They do not affect the finished products and are therefore not of serious concern.I own a considerable quantity of Meyers; cookware, across several marques and series and all provide excellent and reliable service. As far as this bakeware is concerned, removing the baked cake is easy especially if the tin is greased in advance. I tend to lightly grease the base and bottom-line but will also sometimes line the sides. It is impossible to always prevent a little seepage around the lining and have a small amount of mixture stick to an area around the side or on the base, but a few minutes soak in warm soapy water is sufficient to soften and ease removal. The tin is itself quite thick and solid when locked together and not at all flimsy or flexible under moderate pressure. It is not especially deep, about 8cm, but its height can be temporarily increased if side-lined to above the lip; probably 11-12cm total height is about the maximum.I have other sizes of baking tin (Meyer do not themselves make all most commonly used sizes) and some are rather less solid when locked as is this. A brilliant and reasonably priced product and it this that I use more than any other unless I know that a recipe requires a deeper pan, or another size.

This is a very good value set of two quality cake tins, one 20cm and one 23cm which are 8.5cm deep. Both of them are non stick spring form quick release tins. They feel sturdy and quite heavy in the hand, they are made from heavy duty steel and are free from BPA and PFOA. The finishing of these tins is good with a very even costing throughout and no sharp edges.I have used these tins to make a couple of sponges and they are really great for making cheesecake as the quick release makes it easy to remove it from the thin in one piece. For sponges these tins cook evenly and the sponges can be removed easily and cleanly. Best of all these cake tins are dishwasher safe, freezer safe and have a five year non-stick guarantee as well as a MasterClass twenty year manufacturers guarantee.Recommended

This spring form cake pan is absolutely perfect for cheesecake (the main reason we bought it) as well as `taller' cakes, by that I mean ones that are taller than your regular victoria sponge sandwich cake. The size and sturdiness of the pan (not to mention it has a good weight to it), means it is a pleasure to bake with and entirely fit for purpose, producing an excellent cake / cheesecake suitable for 8 hungry people. The high sided pan, with a non stick coating means cakes and cheesecakes are easily released. For reference my wife mainly uses this pan for lemon drizzle cakes and baked cheesecakes.Worth noting the pan is dishwasher safe which is always a bonus, and after two years use it still looks like new.So I would highly recommend, a quality product.

I think the customer who bought this Master Class Non-Stick Spring form round cake tin had not assembled it correctly after the initial washing.I took out the bottom and washed the pieces separately. I reassembled them, as I thought, and tested it with water. It leaked. Turned bottom part over and re-tested, it still leaked. Then I put the spring form ring on work surface and opened the clip. I then dropped in the bottom and snapped the the outer ring onto it. It held together properly, and when tested again with water, it did not leak.I have just made my Christmas cake and it has baked it perfectly - it does pay to buy quality items when you can afford it.I would recommend this tin and any from the same maker very highly.Jen~D

I baught this item in order to prepare a cheesecake baked in the oven. Everytime I prepare this cheeskace I have problems with water inserting in the pan while baking. I was very dissapointed to see that the form did not close very well and of course my cheescake was more like a soup than a cheescake. I would say that this pan was no better than cheaper pans I already have. I did put foil at the bottom of the pan to prevent water from coming in but this was pointless... Anyway, this is an ordinary springform pan, nothing more. I am giving 4 stars (I was thinkng of giving 3...) as I bought circulon brand spring form pan as well which is much better!!! I will rate circulon with 5.

Got this to make my wedding cake. I'm doing a 13 inch mix in a 12 inch tin because I want the cake to be nice and deep. This was much sturdier and more heavy duty than i thought it would be. Lovely non stick finish although I'm using silicon paper to line the tin and cardboard on the top whilst cooking because it's a rich fruit cake and is in the oven such a long time.... dont want the top to burn.Turned out beautifully, cooked through evenly and washed up like a dream. The spring is strong but easy to use and keeps the base in place perfectly.Lovely tin for the money. On the packaging it also comes with a 5 year guarantee. Can't go wrong.Hope my review was of help.

My first cake pan was a Master Class 8 " from 2007. I stumbled upon this brand in a specialty kitchenware store which sold quality equipment. I was lucky to have bought this..it seemed like a sturdy piece. Little did I know there would be such rave reviews for it. The pan has served me well.... and I decided to buy a 6" piece because it would be the perfect size for 2-4 people. This would definitely encourage me to bake more, as I wont' have to feel guilty for baking such a large cake and not being able to finish it. This also makes a perfect gift for small dinner parties with only 4 guests.... and one needn't have too many left overs (if any!).

Wow!This pan is far more robust than others I have seen in the past. The spring mechanism works well and the product has a good weight to it. Useful to provide a uniform heat around the entire pan.It uses a non-toxic non-stick surface, which is always good to see, and comes printed with the size on the side of the pan itself- a nice touch.Easy to line with paper (although not often required) and no dripping of cake mixture around the base. If you have a particularly liquid mix, I would advise that you stay away from spring-form, although this is able to handle an average batter well, without drips. We partnered this product with a 15cm (

I purchased two of these tins to make more reasonably sized layer cakes for family. I have used them a few times, they are quite sturdy, and quite easy to clean, although some batter can get stuck in the ridge where the base joins the side so needs a brush to clean that. Cakes come out cleanly and don't stick to the sides or break when removing. It is easy to remove the base from the sides when ready whij is great. Also, a looser batter will leak through the base of these tins so best to wrap a ribbon of foil or parchment around the join. Despite this, I would recommend these for springform tins at this price range.

This gets 5 stars for making cheesecake and also being able to remove it easily as well..I haven't baked in it so can't comment but when it arrived out of curiosity I filled it with water and it leaked..so I'm a bit wary about making a cake in it unless I line it first..but to be honest it was bought for cheesecake...I was surprised how heavy it was..after reading reviews on the latch I was a bit wary but I seem to be one of the lucky ones as mine is working fine...but if anything happens to it I will be updating my review..so nothing left to say apart from yes good buy..nice quality for cheesecake item

I started using Masterclass many years ago as I like the robust heavier feel to their products and from then on I replaced bit by bit as much lighter items with Masterclass, the 20cm cake tins were my most purchase and I think they maybe the last I require.Just the feel of Masterclass items tell you what you need to know, they look and feel superior to most cookware. They are not the dearest on the market but certainly other makes cost you more for their name not for their performance. I cannot recommended Masterclass enough, they well worth any extra money you are3 comparing to other!

I have only recently got into baking, so this cake tin was one of the first I've bought. I made a cheesecake with it which turned out perfect (and delicious)! When I unclipped the side, the cake stayed in shape and the non-stick worked fine. The only issue is that the base of the tin is slightly lipped, so I wasn't able to remove it from the bottom of the cake without ruining it. In the end, we had to cut the cake while it was still on the base. This wasn't a problem at all but it's worth bearing in mind. But overall, a good buy!

I have a number of Master Class baking tins of all shapes and sizes, so am very happy about the quality and durability.I wanted a 6 inch tin for a couple of reasons, the first being to cook smaller cake ... as there are just the 2 of us, cakes either go stale, or they are too tempting to eat.The second reason is that this tin also fits in my Philips Air Fryer ... and is a fraction of the cost of the available accessory.I find heat distribution to be fine with these tins, and it has plenty of depth to it.

Really surprised at quality of this tin.Its heavy an thick,no flimsy bendy metal here. Its lovely and deep and the quick release bottom works great. My and my daughter baked a cake yesterday ‘the first time we’ve baked in a long time’ and it came out great was thick enough to split in 2 and sandwich together with jam.Real quality Tin that I feel will last for a very long time if cared for properly. Its very easy to clean if you wash bottom and sides apart there is no were for pesky crumbs to catch
