I took a chance and bought my true size 7.5, despite reviews saying they run small. The length is perfect and pretty roomy width.I walk min 30 kilometres every week. Today is -17c in Montreal and they are warm and comfortable to walk in, with a fairly good grip. 100% more grippy than my sorel carnivals that i was wore last year. I can't speak about waterproof as so far i have walked mostly on sidewalks and not in deep snow, but my feet are dry with the slushy, snow days we've had. If I had a complaint it would be they feel a tad bulky on top, but the tradeoff is they are warm. I am glad I bought them.

I read the reviews before ordering this boot.. and what caught my was a sturdy boot that is comfortable, warm and waterproof. All true, I am sure from the look and feel of the boot.... although I have not worn them a full winter yet. I normally wear a 6 1/2, but after reading the reviews I did order a half size up. The boot was very comfortable with good arch support and a good thing I did order a half size up since they seem to run small. And by ordering a half size up I at least have enough toe room. I would guess if you want to wear thicker socks to order a whole size up.

OK, I have to admit, most of the snow is gone, but I still laced up these beauties and slogged through what's left. I love these boots! They fit well, look great, and will last for years. Last winter I purchased a pair of Keen Revel III winter boots, and have worn them all winter, with the only drawback their height in deep snow, which I get with the Hoodoos that are 3" taller than the Revels. So, now whatever comes my way, I'm set for winter in W. Mt. Lucky me!

The first few times I put them on they felt really tight, I felt like I couldn’t wear thick socks. I had to size up from my original purchase in order to wear socks.With the few times I’ve worn them they’ve adjusted.The laces will fall out of the top hooks if they’re tied too loose. I would say they are reminiscent of snowboarding boots. But they’re really warm and have really good support after walking all day.

Extremely satisfied with this brand Keen, last couple more than 3 years as well as worn every day in all weather conditions, and also the only pair that made walking bearable when suffering from "heel spurs". The shoes do not need a walk-in period, and despite their lightweight, they feel extremely sturdy and support the feet in an extremely comfortable way wherever needed in any weather type! Recommended!

I ordered size 7 for boots.-true to size. The reason I put 4 stars was the boots are on the lighter side. It could get slippery when wearing them for snowy frosty Chicago, but they have very good traction when it’s not snowing and frosty. Not tested yet for single digit, in the tens or minus zero temperature. Right now, my feet are warm and toasty with 27o temperature with one layer of socks. Thank you!

I love these boots so far. I had heard they run a little small. I usually wear a size 10 or 10 1/2 and have a wide foot. I ordered a size 11 and they fit great. They are very comfortable to wear. It hasn't snowed since I ordered them so I can't tell yet how they will do in snow. I love this brand and have no reason to believe I won't be happy.

Love these. I wore them while walking my puppy to break them in and they didn’t really need to be broken in. Comfy, warm, and I love the higher top. Wore them while walking in a snowy, icy area and didn’t slip once! I have Sorel Joan’s and wanted something less bulky. Ended up wearing these most of the trip. Joan’s are good for deeper snow.

I purchased Keen hiking shoes and really like them a lot. The fit, the feel and the look. They are made well and was looking for a good snow boot. Thought I would stick with the Keen brand since I was so happy with the hiking boots. I have been thrilled with the snow boots just as much. Great purchase.

i have several pairs of Keens and i love them, but these run a tish small so i had to send them back. i suggest ordering a half-size up ( i wear an 11 womens so unfortunately i didn't have an option to go bigger with these). no complaints with the style or overall quality though!

Great boots. Normally wear size 51/2 to 6 and bought size 61/2 as a previous reviewer had said sizing was a bit neat. They fit well with room for cosy socks. Have walked in long wet grass and puddles and my feet were dry .The boots are really comfortable and do the job well.

I had my keen trekking shoes in size 8 , which had no problem with me at all. I thought it could have been the same for the Winter boots, but I was wrong. They were too stiff. Unless they were running small, the shoes would have been very comfortable for long walks.

Fit true to size. I was originally worried as I read other posts to size up. I have a relatively narrow foot so on a limb ordered the 6.5 and sure enough it fits great! Got on sale for 74 dollars and PRIME one day delivery too so it was definitely a WIN!

These are real nice boots originally found them at Blaines, which were $40 cheaper. I would have got them at Blaine but we’re out of my size and were not getting g another shipment. Bummer on the cost but needed then for my job.

Comfortable to wear, but over -30 in the frost started to toe when you walked for 20 min. Luckily, it wasn't like a 10-minute trip left and got thawed :) So no ultra-warm shoes, but the conditions in Northern Finland are okay.
