Firstly, when I opened the box it came in, I thought that it looked a little cheap. And, to be fair, it initially felt like that too. Being uncharitably, you could say you're just paying for the name, and while that may be true (purchased for £39 at time of writing), it's whether or the thing works that's the important thing.On this front, I'm happy to say that it did. Products like this can easily be seen as a fad; a nice idea, but, in practice, are useless. But, the Kärcher Window vac works really well.I got it mainly to deal with some condensation in a conservatory, but it's main purpose is for window *cleaning*. Either way, I was pretty impressed.When I turned it on, I expected it to sound a little beefier,

I got this for my windows which are often full of condensation. It was a case of a special offer that attracted me making my decision to finally get one. It's a good machine and does not only do glass but I can use it in the bathroom when I clean the tiles. On the whole happy with the machine. However I live in a listed building with mostly little panes of glass. The machine works if I use it side to side but not top to bottom. Now I anticipated that so when I bought it there was a section where it was recommended to buy other items to go with it. One item was a narrow blade that would be ideal. Because of the way it was displayed I bought the machine and the blade, it really was the deal breaker.

I bought this Karcher to replace my original model.It has now gone to squeegee heaven.It pretended to charge with a false promise of further use, but it had sucked its last suck: total silence...So I bought this one. I didn't want the bells and whistles, just the machine, and of course, the charger (included, and much smaller than the old one).In service, it is a lot quieter than the previous model, and performs better too.It's much lighter, more squat and the blade is just that bit less wide than its deceased brother, it negotiates tighter spaces.So, it's easier all round to use and more efficient.I use it for the shower and tiles and the large plate-glass shower screen.

This Karcher Window Vac has a built-in battery but it is sufficiently lightweight to hold comfortably and to operate with one hand. The device’s cleaning head is 25cm wide and it sucks up water and cleaning concentrate into a waste reservoir of 100ml, which is more than enough if the cleaning fluid is restricted. This limit is also best for leaving windows dry, streak-free and shiny.A charging cable and UK 13amp plug is provided. Charging time is about 1½ - 2 hours and this gives about 20-25 minutes operation. This is quite sufficient for everyday tasks which in addition to windows include cleaning patio doors, tiles, mirrors etc. The waste water reservoir itself is easy to fix and to remove for discharge,

This does have lots of uses, beyond windows. Glass coffee tables, ceramic hobs and cooker doors, internal glass doors and exterior windows and shower screens... I`ve used this on them all and it does leave a great finish - actually, it`s at its worst on windows in my experience because it cannot (obviously, it isn`t wide enough to cover an entire pane in one go) fail to leave a little line inbetween "swipes".The battery life seems like ages, as I did more or less every surface I could find in the house, and that was from the charge provided from the box. I have the little spray bottle Karcher make to go with the more expensive model, and I think that`s definitely worth investing in.Everything I cleaned looked perfect after use,

I purchased an older version of the Karcher Window Vac a few years ago, chiefly to quickly clear the windows in my old house of condensation on cold mornings. I was a bit sceptical before I bought it, but soon realised how good it was for the condensation mopping, and it’s a product I would not want to be without.This new, smaller, version performs just as well. It’s lighter and more comfortable to hold compared to my older model. That said, my older model could be emptied without removing the bottle. On the new model you have to pull the bottle away from the body and twist off its top – not a difficult process, but a tad more cumbersome.Also, this model is only supplied with the one head,

Originally ordered the v2 version, and that instantly failed. Loads of reviews of a blinking light meaning it doesn't charge or even switch on. Wish I had paid more attention to the reviews before I ordered - foolishly thought the more power and lighter weight would be a better buy, but it was a pile of junk.Once I returned that one, I then ordered the original v1 and that has so far been super reliable.Relatively easy to use, just go slow and make sure the blade is flat on the surface and it works a treat. Going too fast will result in streaks but that's technique, not the fault of the machine.Overall, very impressed and makes getting rid of morning condensation,

For several years I've had the original Karcher, which was slightly larger and quite a bit louder than this newer version.This new version is lighter, quieter and works just as well. However, you have to take it apart in order to empty it. Firstly, the water tank is removed and then the tube that feeds the water into the tank needs to removed from the water tank. Having poured the water out, reverse the process.In the older model there was just a rubber bung that needed to be removed from the water tank and the water poured out. Less hassle and less pieces to remove and re-assemble. Less wear-and-tear.This newer version does work well and is considerably quieter.

I don't why I didn't buy one of these years ago! It is amazing. We've suffered for years with trying to dry soggy wet towels that we've had to mop up condensation with in the the cold weather and also every day after showering, the wall tiles have to be wiped down to lessen the growth of that horrid black mould. But no more! This wonderful little machine has put an end to all that. It's so easy to use and makes your windows, mirrors etc. come up clear and clean. Don't let it fill over the max line or it may just spill if tipped up, but other than that it is something anyone who suffers with condensation or just wants to keep their shower area clear, should have. Buy one today,

I have wanted a Karcher Window Vac for ages, so I ordered one. It arrived the other day and I used it yesterday for the first time... It's blimmin amazing. In the past I have had to squeegee the windows and mop the water from the sills every time there is a cold night. This clever bit of kit simply sucks it all up. The windows are a little bit streaky when I have finished, but heck, it has saved me so much work. I have yet to use it after showering but my friend uses hers to dry the tiles and shower cubicle. It's much lighter to use than I expected and the little tank will hold more water than I will ever suck from the window. If you are considering buying one then I can fully recommend it.

Mainly got this for use on the inside of car windscreen, as it gets completely fogged up in wet weather (gets drenched acutally!). Wasn't sure if it would do the trick, but it works like a dream! Removes all the condensation & because the windscreen is pretty dry then, it's just a matter of a quick blast of heat and you're good to go. No more messing with demister pads or cloths which only smear the condensation around the windscreen and waiting forever for it to clear. With this little guy, a few swipes across the windscreen, heater on and your ready for road straightaway. My neighbour was so impressed, I bought one for him as a gift and 2 other passengers have bought one too! Happy days!

Having read some other people's reviews I was wary of buying the window vac. However, every aspect of it is good quality. The window vac itself is well made and very easy to use. I used it on windows (inside and out) and mirrors with equal ease. I carried a microfibre cloth to finish off and had no peoblem with streaks. The water container is very easy to remove and refit (it simply clicks into place). The water container is a good size and is very easy to empty. I didn't have my problem with leakage of water and the design of the tube in the container prevents leakage when used on its side. I would highly recommend this product to anyone considering purchase of a window vac.

I love this product! Having read endless reviews, some good, some bad, I decided to go for it and was not disappointed. I bought it as the windows in our old French house get a lot of condensation. I was spending ages each morning with cloths and kitchen roll wiping them all down. Not any more! It takes me seconds to whizz over the windows with this and remove all the condensation. Yes, it does leak water if you hold it sideways, but this is only because it needs emptying. Once emptied, it performs perfectly. All I can say if you are deliberating as I did whether or not to get one, is ...., well, get one.

I use a Karcher original every single day to clean my granite worktops and it has seen better days, so when I received this one I was very pleased. It is a lot smaller than the original version, a lot lighter and a lot quieter, I really like it, it is easier to store and easier to use.The only negative comment I have to make is that the water reservoir doesn't fit fully flush and looks like there is a gap above it. It does not hamper the use of it, but it just doesn't look as sleek as the original one.All in all I much prefer this Karcher to the original one and it does a great job of my worktops.

I debated for a while whether to buy this. My mum had one and said it was amazing, so I finally gave in and ordered one. Boy, how did I cope without it. I literally use it every day. Here are some of the uses so far:- Cleaning windows (obvs.) - the spray bottle with the pad on it is awesome, and the sample of cleaner is so good- Drying the inside of the shower (instead of my squeegee)- Cleaning condensation from the windows- Cleaning condensation from the car windows- Drying my high gloss bathroom counters after cleaning (NO SMEARS at all!)I love it. If it broke I would replace it immediately!
