Having used a few battery vacuums in recent years I have found the powerful suction of this Hoover to be a welcome change. It doesn't look or sound very powerful, so it's all the more surprising. I wouldn't say it's unattractive but its body looks and feels a cheap plastic which might be a deliberate choice to make it lighter. The fittings are also mostly fairly basic being of a push and pull nature. Its cheap looks and average construction are the only slight negatives.A neutral point I think worth mentioning is that it takes a bit of effort to use in a brushing motion when the suction is on full, but the results are good. It can't effortlessly be rolled backwards and forwards like some standing vacuum cleaners.

The positives:This hoover is excellent for hard floors. It is lightweight, easy to carry and has a strong, adjustable suction. It picks up well and the bags are cheap at a pack of 5 for about £3. The cord is a good length and it is stored inside the cleaner. The price is about £70, so it is an economical buy. As it is corded, there is no loss of suction part way through cleaning, which is a big help to me as I prefer to clean several rooms in one go rather than do one room then have to wait until the cleaner is recharged before I can do the next one.The negatives:The hoover can be rather hard to push over carpets, especially thick ones, even with the suction adjusted to allow for their pile.

Bought for personal use. I've worked as a cleaner for most of my life, so I know everything's to know about vacuum cleaners. Although my all-time fave is and will always be Henry, by Numatic, I didn't want to splash a hundred quid to just use it once in a while. For this budget price, you get a really sturdy hoover that has great suction power and looks also beautiful. It has all the extra attachments neatly kept on top, under an elegant lid that closes with a clasp. The suctioned air comes vertically, out from the top of the machine, which I find much better than the conventional back/rear because the air doesn't disturb the dust as you work your way around the place. It's a rather heavy piece of equipment,

I'll be honest. Hoovering is not a task I enjoy. But with two dogs running about the house it's a necessary evil...and one I want to get out of the way with the minimum of fuss and effort.This Hoover product certainly did that.First of all I like the look and colour scheme; perhaps not all THAT important overall but hey, using something that looks nice always cheers you up. It's lightweight enough for me to easily carry it up and down the stairs but at the same time doesn't feel lightweight in terms of design and sturdiness.It has a powerful suction and worked well on laminate flooring and older carpet.

First the dislike. It's a bagged cleaner meaning you will need to buy bags for it. That in itself isn't necessarily a negative as many people don't like the bagless designs, and there are generic bags here on Amazon for a little less than OEM ones.Now that's out of the way. What do I like? It's a latest generation model with a 700W motor. Noise isn't such a problem nor is weight as it's a small, lightweight design. That means it's suitable for places like caravans or small apartments rather than larger houses. The controls are easy enough to master and its ability to pick up includes good performance on pet hair.These lightweight cleaner systems also lend themselves to getting in to awkward nooks and corners.

This Hoover is small, lightweight and easy to use, making it ideal for smaller spaces. We intend to use it for our caravan and our small office. We'll keep our larger Dyson for cleaning our house.We tested the "Pets" model which comes with a Pets turbo brush. This did a good job at picking up pet and human hair. The Hoover has a decent level of suction.Unfortunately, longer hairs just get wound around the brush and will need to be regularly cut out with scissors. Our Dyson vacuum has solved this problem by using counter-rotating brushes so the hair doesn't accumulate. It's a shame to see innovations like this missing from this Hoover.We're used to our bagless Dyson, so this bagged Hoover seems a bit antiquated.

The hoover is light enough to carry easily upstairs. Suction is very strong,you need to tip back the hose so the brush head is on it's wheels, otherwise it will stick to the carpet and be hard to move.The motor is pretty quiet. The retractable mains lead is a decent length. The dust bag and air filter are easy to remove and replace but the hose is very difficult to remove from the body as it takes a lot of strength to push the two sides together, but you probably won't need to do this in normal use.Overall it's a decent vacuum, much better on hard floors than carpet as its much easier, but I would not recommend it for large carpeted rooms as this would really be hard work.

I'm 5ft 6, I can hoover with this perfectly. I'm pretty sure my 8ft friend or my 3 ft child would have difficulties as the hose is quite a specific size.It is relatively well made but as another reviewer has pointed out there are some minor difficulties that could prevent use in the future. At this time, I'm ignoring them because they haven't actually occurred. As yet.There are few attachments but this is such a good sucker!!! Nothing is safe, the spider, a few nails, couple of pillows, even my four year old ran away screaming.It's light, it's titchy and suitably stashes away in a hole out the way.Definitely a budget hoover that is worth it!

This is a very powerful vacuum cleaner, well-suited for pet owners. It's light-weight and quite compact so easy to drag around the room as well as carry while you vacuum stair carpet. The provided attachments ( dusting brush and crevice tool ) are pretty standard but fit well and are functional.It is a bagged vacuum cleaner, increasingly uncommon these days, but while there is the added cost of purchasing consumable bags, the advantage is that of emptying without being covered in dust.Overall effective and good value for money, although the handle tube is a little on the short side meaning taller people will have to bend more.

I got this as a spare and also for an elderly family member/carers to trial. It has been brilliant for both uses. It was very easy to assemble straight away, plug in and (with the one included and installed bag) get hoovering. It is impressively powerful for something so small. For an able bodied adult it barely feels like it weighs anything compared to our Dyson "main" hoover so for an elderly person who is keen to hoover it feels like a good choice. It does not come with extra attachments and as it is a bagged hoover the need to replace those loses one star but otherwise this is a superb and little hoover for the price range.

This is a nice and small, compact vacuum cleaner. It's small size means that it is lightweight, making it easy to move around, especially up and down the stairs. It also doesn't take up much space in storage and all the parts are easy to swap around when required. It's priced at the lower end of the market, making it exceptional value for money for what it does. The suction power is really impressive for such a small unit and the pets version includes a turbo brush that really does a great job of hoovering up do hair. Highly recommended!

Better than expected. I only tested on my annoying long hair on short haired carpets. Sucked it up no probs. Vacuum received was as described. Also very clean. No marks. Genuine attachments were also clean and unmarked. Only 1 bag provided so will need to buy more. Some other attachments are missing i think like the small crevix and round head brushes but I paid £26 really cant complain. I got the main head and pet though. Suction and noise levels are really good. Like new. So happy.

Hoover is lightweight and easy to handle and manoeuvre.Plastic tube that goes into the metal pole has slipped out a few time whilst using.The extendable metal pole is good and allows more compact storage, but whilst it is ok for me at 5ft 5 it might not be good for anyone taller as it isn't that long.Suction on this Hoover is great and works well on carpet and lino flooring.

This is a super little vacuum that doesn't take up much space so is ideal for anyone with limited space. Even a student! Suction is very effective as is the cleaning. Not very noisy. Cord is long enough for a standard sized room. If you're looking for a second vacuum for the home to save carrying a large one up and down stairs, then this might prove to be the vacuum for you.

I was very please with this vacuum cleaner. It’s lightweight and easy to carry. It’s got very good suction and picks up dirt well. The bags easy to change. Just make sure the bag is fitted in properly or else it won’t pick up dirt. But that’s advisable for most vacuum cleaners. All in all I was very happy with this product.
