This is my First Glass Kettle, so I am still a little excited by the lights and spectacle. The Kettle boils quickly enough and has the great advantage of being able to show how much water is available, before turning the unit on. I do have one minor gripe. The lid does not stay open when one is trying to fill the unit. This makes filling the kettle a two handed operation. I still get caught out by this design flaw. As one is filling the Kettle, the lid will randomly snap closed of its own accord. And, of course, water then sprays everywhere! A spring mechanism could have dealt with this. When one is looking to make their first Cup of Coffee and is only half awake, this does get annoying.

Its chocolate brown with copper coloured power and lid button, not the expected black which I really would have preferred .You need 2 hands to open the flip lid.When it's open, the shape is very easy to fill & clean which is one of the main reasons I chose this design.Measuring marks are clear and it boils fairly quickly.It's also quiet enough, (compared to my previous one).It pours well.It lights the water blue.It's pretty good value ..so the first 2 negative points are liveable with ?

Well advert was deceptive as the kettle isnt' as big as I expected but it's go cute also thought it was black but it's a lovely multicoloured brown which goes well with my kitchen so a bonus really quiet fast & has great safety features

It’s a very good kettle,boils quickly and looks good. Only thing is you have to be patient trying to navigate it back on its stand. Hence ,only 4 stars

It holds a lot of water, boil's quickly and quietly. I like how it has blue lights around the base. Good kettle
