A lovely rum for the price. This was actually the rum that converted me to liking rum (as previously a whisky drinker). I drink this (as I do all my spirits) straight up: sipped and savoured. It's soft, mellow and not too sweet. (I really dislike overly sweet rums, so this suits me fine.)Is it the most complex rum in the world? No, but it doesn't pretend to be. It's a 7yo, so this is an 'every day' sipper, or a mixer if you prefer and as that it does very well indeed.IF you want a more refined sipper with greater depths then personally I'd recommend: Ron Abuelo 12yo, Mount Gay XO, Ron Barcelo Imperial & Appleton Estate 12yo. In my experience, central American rums beat Carribean ones hands down. This 7 year old is smooth on the palette with a lingering caramel after taste. Good for drinking straight, on the rocks, and with a twist of lime. Also good in Cuba Libres and Dark and Stormys, although it may be a bit of overkill for cocktails... don't want to use the good stuff!!Regarding the transaction, delivery was swift, stress free and the product was extremely well packaged. All that is left is to put my feet up and enjoy!!

Flor de Cana has been my recent favourite. I keep switching between Havana 7 and this. It is very smooth and has a beautiful balance of sweet and nutty flavour. I was surprised that this Rum was from Nicaragua. I have usually tried rum from either the Caribbean or Cuba. If someone who likes Rum like me and only drinks Rum, I'd say give this one a try. It will be very hard to come off this rum.

Quality rum from central America. Caribbean rums tend to be over flavoured in vanilla and brown sugar that's fine if it's your thing. Flor De Cana for me can be drank neat with ice and lime. Sometimes I take it with good ginger beer, fresh pineapple, lime and ice. Have also tried the 12year old. 18 year old and year old Flor De Cana is on my radar.

Well what can I say...fell in love with this rum on my summer holidays in Central America...couldnt resist it when i saw it was available...and at a price you certainly cant grumble about. Very quick delivery and very well packaged...would recommend not only the Rum to anyone, but the sellers here too!!

Very nice rum, easy drinking. A middle of the road rum that people can enjoy without being too adventurous. Fair for the price but there are tastier rums in the same price range I would spring for before picking up another Flor de Caña

I bought it as a gift for my roommate's birthday (who is from Nicaragua). He was really surprised and enjoyed the gift.Not to mention that it is a good rum for the price, good flavor and strength. I definitely recommend it.

What a wonderful Rum. I first tasted this when my son brought me a bottle back from Nicaragua many years back and as much as I tried I could not get a bottle in the UK. How elated I felt when I saw this on your website.

Bought for my wife's winter warmers, (mulled wine, this rum, ginger wine, and some warming spices, and one sliced satsuma, 2 X 1 minutes in the microwave,stir and serve) can recommend,price and flavour/taste all good.

This is a very good rum at an excellent price (I got it in the sale, but even the regular price isn't bad). It smells great and has a lovely smooth sweetish taste with a touch of burn, perfect for mixing.

A superb rum imo the standard flora de Cana is great for mixing and the obvious with CokeThis imo is way better than Bacardi, and is a great rum on its own or with a little water

This has to be the smoothest rum your money can buy, with so much flavour & warmth not forgetting the after notes of delicious fruits & spices.Simply the best by far. 10/10

Stunning rum, gentle on the palate with nice fruit and spices. Perfect to drink it over the rocks or with cocktails. Superb value for money. Definitely recommended!

Great Value for Money, lovely taste, great quality, smooth finish, better than a supermarket own brand that's for sure and at this price that's all you'll get..

I found this rum while I was out in Fuerteventura a couple of years ago. I’d completely forgotten how nice it is. Good value for money and quite flavoursome.
