The fire arrived promptly and in good condition in the manufacturer's packaging. Although I had initially intended to remove the existing ' living flame ' gas fire and inset it I found, by using the spacers provided, that it sat in front of the gas fire without looking obtrusive. The flame effect is very pleasing and even at full power the fan is quiet. Potential purchasers should note that it doesn't have a thermostat but this may be remedied, inexpensively, by using a suitably rated thermostat between its plug and the power socket. Used in this way it is both effective and attractive.

This is almost perfect and the bits that aren’t perfect aren’t all that important. It doesn’t quite fit into my fireplace, being an inch taller and an inch narrower, but you don’t notice that unless you’re standing right over it. It really does make the room cosy, something I augmented with a looping clip of a crackling fire playing on my Amazon Echo bluetooth speaker. Since the speaker is always-on Alexa, that was just using something I had there anyway.

We have had this fire installed for just over one month. It replaced a gas fire with a boiler. This is ornamental with the flicker flame effect which can be working independently of the heater elements. Ideal for when the central heating is working. The finish is very good and clean. When switched on to heat the 1 & 2Kw elements, together with the small silent fan, warms up the room very quickly and turns on and off with the adjustable thermostat.

Bought the fire for my mum to replace a gas fire that had ceased to function properly.Just slotted in to the hole where the gas fire used to be.My mum (who is 86) loves the flame effect and the convenience of being able to switch the fan heaters on as and when she needs them. Most of the time she just has the flame effect on without the heater for effect as the central heating is on.Perfect for what was required.

Bought to fill the hole left the after removal of a inset gas fire and back boiler, looks ok, dont particularly use the heater, just put flame effect on. Had to buy a spacer from dimplex, as the fire was 3mm too high for the opening in the marble back plate, new it was going to be touch and go when i bought it. You'd think that there would be a standard size for inset fires!

Delivered ahead of time delighted with product.The one issue I have is that there is a problem with the instructions in my opinion they should recommend that when lifting the fire gloves should be worn at all times as the edges to the brass surround are very sharp in fact lethal as my wife cut three of her fingers badly when we were removing the fire from its box.

The opti flame effect is superb, best I've seen. Although more expensive than a lot of others on Amazon I am glad I paid the extra as it's a lovely fire.The only downside is that the LED fire glow bulbs cannot be replaced. They do say though that on average use of 8hrs a day they should last between 11 to 15 years. Time will tell I suppose.

This is a very attractive fire and makes the room look warm and is much better than I expected for the price.Just downgraded to a four star because changing the bulbs is a ridiculous exercise having to take the coals out and unscrewing the front. In this day and age it surely could have been better designed.

This fire was delivered 2 days after ordering it! I is lovely, throws out a lot of heat even with one switch. The flame effect is very real, looking as though it comes from all over. Would certainly recommend it. It was just a little short if covering my 18" opening, but still looked great.

This fire looks great and the flame effect is brilliant and makes the room look and feel snug and comfy Easy to install and operate, very pleasedOnly draw back is you can’t replace the light source for the lame effect as they are not conventional bulbs

Arrived on date scheduled, received well packaged and in good condition, fire as described. Fire looks nice, only downside is that the coal pieces are very small and have to be carefully arranged otherwise they fall through Grate bars.

Wow this fire is just beautiful. Came solidly packaged and slotted right into my fireplace. The flame on its own just to create a nice focal point works well, and the fan heater in two settings is good for when it’s colder. Love it!!

This electric fire arrived very promptly, fitted neatly into the space as measured, and gives heat and light as promised. About the cheapest electric fire available, it seems ideal for our purpose, for use in a bedroom.

looks good and it looks expensive the photos don't do it justice used on the first setting during winter and it kept the room warm its an older type house with high ceilings so it did its job well

Just put this in today. Lovely flame effect nice and realistic. Also excellent heat output. For this price it's excellent value for money considering in one of my local stores it is 300 euro.
