Faultless. Excellent value. After 10 minutes on 'max' - in an open-plan, living/dining room - despite freezing weather, the thermostat turned machine off. I do not have to wear so many clothes...................Icy conservatory heated in 5 mins.I use my garage as a 'man cave' - computer/printer/music/etc., etc., and it's unventilated. Perfectly comfortable, when fan directed towards me - in no time - then, I put the device on medium heat, facing away. Can {and do} stay in garage for ages.

After previously buying several cheap fan heaters that only lasted just past the years guarantee before they broke, I decided to take the plunge and invest in this branded model. I am happy to report that my investment paid off as this little heater is miles better than anything previously. It is quiet, has discreet styling and throws out a lot of heat. The thermostat works brilliantly keeping a nice heat level in your room without wasting energy. All this plus a 3 year warranty as standard!

Had to buy a heater a short notice due to the boiler breaking down in January and I'm very happy with my choice. It pumps out heat at a very impressive rate and the thermostat is very good and handy feature. I live in a fairly large 1 bedroom apartment and within 10 minutes the whole place was warm. Only downside is the noise but admittedly it is sitting on wooden flooring which may accentuate the whirring and I've never used any other heater like it so it may actually be quieter than most.

I've been extremely disappointed with the performance of the Dyson heating products but this Dimplex pleasantly surprised me. I'm planning on purchasing another couple for my business premises. Don't waste your money on the higher-priced Dyson range, unless you simply want a fancy-looking heater in your room that blows out lukewarm air. This does exactly what you want it to do - heat up a room. Downside - the plug becomes quite hot when the heater is on the highest setting for a few hours.

I tried 5 heaters, in an attempt to heat my 14 square metre workshop. Some were unable to provide enough heat. Some took forever to heat it.Some had too short a cable and warnings were gven against using an extension.Number 6,the Dimplex DXFF30TSN 3kW Fan Heater, had 50 reviews - none awarded it less than 4 out of 5The Dimplex is light and portable. It has two heat settings plus a cold air setting and the thermostat actually works! It also has a three year warranty, & isn't too noisy.

I bought this little heater to heat the freezing bathroom before showering. We rent, so we needed a portable solution. The bathroom is built on an exterior wall and has no radiator. It heats the room in about five minutes, which is impressive as the ceiling is higher than average. Once heated, I take the heater out of the bathroom and can now get through a shower without my teeth chattering. Works in our bigger office, too. The thermostat setting is particularly useful. Inexpensive, too!

This is a great little heater that does it’s job well. I have a large bedroom and this heater is strong enough to make the room toasty warm if I want it to. The only down side to it is the lack of function controls. There are two fan settings, low and high, and that’s it. But to be fair, you can’t really expect more control options on a unit of this price. For what it costs, it’s an excellent heater and has saved me this winter when there was no heat at all in our building for 2 weeks.

Went camping the other week, took 2kw heater from home. Our large family tent needs heat at night for comfort & prevent condensation. Only able to run it on 1 bar, it just wasn't enough. Quickly looked online, found this one at 3kw & it was in stock nearby. Still run it on 1 bar, but the extra 0.5kw made real difference. It's quieter than our old one as well, so got a good night's undisturbed sleep. Compact as well, so ideal for our purpose. Only disadvantage is that it doesn't swivel.

I use this product for a couple hours after work, it maintains a comfortable average temperature in my drafty flat and saves me the expense of running storage heaters which lose most of their heat whilst I'm out during the day.It is not ideal for regular use, but it allows me to heat the room in just a few minutes at relatively low cost. I use an electric radiator when I need heat for longer periods. The temperature sensor on the fan heater simply injects more warm air as needed.

I purchased this heater after my boiler broke down. When I got it home I set it up on full power. I closed off the door leading upstairs so I could heat the living room and kitchen areas faster. After about 1hr, I opened the door to the staircase and started heating upstairs as well. After about another 45mins I turned it down to low and left it like that until my boiler was fixed.Peace of mind with the safety cut off. All that good stuff for this price.Don't hesitate! Buy it!

Fabulous heater! I can't fault it really and the title says it all, it does what it's supposed to One of the many things I really love about it is that the air that comes out of it is not concentrated in one area, it sort of spreads out as it comes out if that makes any sense. Also I found it to be quite a bit quieter than a lot of other fan heaters that I've used in the past which was a pleasant surprise considering that I've owned fan heaters which were a lot more expensive!

Very pleased with this heater.Comes with a 3 year guarantee. Use it in the conservatory and it warms the room up very quickly. Used to have a convector heater on the wall but because we didnt use it that much thought we would look at a fan heater instead. So pleased we did as it means we can store it away when not in use. Like the thermostat as it works really well & should be more economical. It isnt as quiet as my convector heater was but for the times we use it no problem.

We have been very impressed with this little heater, which warmed 3 bedrooms and a large bathroom when set up on our landing during a December weekend as we waited for a broken boiler to be fixed. The thermostat feature is great and works well. Whilst the fan makes some noise - wouldn't have wanted it downstairs while watching TV, for instance - it is not so disturbing and our daughter was able to sleep with it running just outside her bedroom door. Definitely recommended.

This heater is quite small but it seems to be quite powerful and efficient. It's also not horribly loud, unlike some, although being a fan heater means it does make some noise. The design incorporates a carry handle which makes it easy to move around plus it can be stored on its' end which makes it easy to tuck away in a cupboard when not in use. So far I'm pleased with it and am hoping it will prove it's worth this winter whenever a bit of additional heat is needed.

I have purchased 2 of these now for my little log cabin, as was burning through to many gas cylinders trying to keep the place warm, so now have one in the bedroom and one in the main living space, as they are thermostatically controlled I can set them both at a comfortable level and they will switch off when thats reached, perfect in the bedroom as wanted it cool for sleeping but not to cold so on a low setting it just kicks in when it gets to cold, its quiet to.
