Good looking fire surround, that was easy to assemble. I used wax polish on mine which brought out the grain nicely. I used some light oak wax. Using it gave a nice colour to the oak veneer and makes it look much more expensive than it actually was. I hung the surround on the wall with invisible fittings Rather than use the picture fasteners supplied which would be visible.I did not use the hearth as I already had a marble hearth, so using invisible fixings might not be an easy option if using supplied hearth, as lifting the whole unit up and over the wall bracket might be an issue.

I love this product it looks lovely in our living room, it was really easy to build with very clear instructions, it didnt take very long at all! It has plenty of space on top for homely accessories and is wide enough for picture frames. The quality of the product is so much nicer than the pictures make out, the colour is lovely and neutral and the wood effect is very realistic, I think it looks much more expensive than the product actually is. Would definitely recommend! :)

Really nice surround, easy to build and looks lovely in my front room. I have a 50inch tv above it and it sits perfect underneath. The only down side is the hearth depth could do with being slightly bigger as my fire only just fits on it. So there is no space infront of my fire. But it does still look lovely so pls dont let this put you off buying. Just make sure you measure the depth of your fire before matching up with this surround.

Modern, sturdy and good-looking!! Can't get a hubby like that but I can get a fireplace!! Ha.Impressed with this fire surround it's great, easy to put together too. I didn't want the backboard in cos I have a small fire so I just papered the wall behind it.. looks awesome, looks well expensive too I must say. So it's an all round winner for me.. just needs some bits and bobs on it and it's sorted

Well am I sorry I bought this! Far too shallow for my tiny electric stove so I've had to buy a new inset fire! This is a surround for an inset fire and should say so in the description. There's no allowance for skirting either so it's not flush, I actually don't know how many average houses don't have skirting boards. Lesson learnt!!!

I've always wanted a fireplace and had to move my living room around and declutter a lot. I looked at firplaces with the electric fires in and thought they weren't as nice yet were more money. Then I saw this one and it goes perfect with my new cream stove and was cheaper than the cheapest set you will find. Love my fireplace xx

I bought this as a gift for my son who recently moved out of home and into an apartment. It makes his living room homely and comfortable and stylish. It was easily assembled and affixed. He has a small electric pot bellied stovecentred in it and he just loves the whole look.

Easy to put together although instructions show different fixings to what is supplied. Really nice colour, looks great in my lounge. Hearth could do with being a little bit deeper but my fire fits just right. Really pleased with overall quality and it arrived 5 days early!

Bought this a few months ago for our living room to tie in with the other oak furnishings and it matches very well. Only negative for me is the wall fixings, they are dark and stand out, so needed painting over to match in with the walls

Forvthe money, this is an excellent product. It arrived before the expected delivery date, and took about 30 mins to assemble. All holes and fixings aligned perfectly. Definitely recommend this fireplace.

This fire surround I purchased was lovely. Gave a warm and clean feel to finish my front room. I would buy this product again very nice. And not cheap would as I thought it might be for the price

Really happy with this fire surround, it's really easy to put together and it looks expensive. Wasn't suppose to arrive until the 24th of December but it arrived today. One very happy customer

I bought this a few weeks ago. Really love it. Well worth the money. Looks more expensive than it is. Would recommend it to anyone. Easy to assembly. Really happy with it.
