This is an excellent source of heat. Lightweight, powerful, I turn it on full for half an hour then turn it down to a quarter. The thermostat regulates it at whatever temperature I want it. The house has a very cold area at the back, and the heater soon warms it beautifully..The only drawback is that I cant put clothes to air on the radiator like I used to with my last one, as it was all enclosed, whereas this one has an open design not meant to be covered.I have to be careful to place it where nothing can fall on it accidentally which limits where I can put it, hence the 4 stars. I leave it on low all day in cold weather even when I'm out.Despite this, it is such a brilliant radiator that I bought two more!I definitely recommend them for all but very cluttered houses.

Bought this oil free heater after reading reviews and deciding I didn't want to be moving around an oil filled one. Firstly, it's tiny, I wasn't expecting that. But it's very cute! It knocks out quite a bit of heat even when the dial is only halfway. The thermostat control kicks in and turns the heater off when the desired temperature has been reached. I don't know if it holds its heat as well as an oil filled one though. It's currently in quite a big open plan room just to keep the chill off when I don't want to put the heating on. However, i don't think it's going to have much of an effect in the depths of winter but in a smaller room it works amazingly. May get another.

portable, great for heating a small room or to back up your current heating system. I use this in my hall where I don't have any form of heating it's made such a difference so warm and cosy. can I also comment on the fab service we had from Yvonne from your st davids centre branch in Cardiffshe went out of her way to secure our parcel with string so as it was easier for my husband to carry as we had a fare walk to the car, this she did without any prompting from us, this is what I call service.

Excellent heater , thermostat is perfect for running through the night. Keeps a room at a bearable temperature with the main heating for the house turned off. Quality you would expect from Dimplex. Hope it gives me years of service.Asked for same day delivery at busiest time over Christmas. Argos delivered as stated, thank you.Have 3 of the old oil heaters. Wanted a more efficient, safe model to leave on overnight for a specific room. Having read the review of efficiency etc chose this.

I bought this for my campervan as the measurements (and clearances needed) are perfect for me. But I thought I'd leave it on in the living room first to remove packaging smells etc. (of which there were none that I detected) - it seriously made me think what more I needed in the house other than this it was that good - very fast to heat up too.I have nothing bad to say about it other than a slightly longer flex would be good but then again I wouldn't want too much in the 'van so this is picky!

I bought this radiator to tide me over until the Dimplex 2KW Oil Free Radiator was in stock. It is brilliant, easy to use, cuts off when it reaches the temp I want and comes back on when temp drops. It is so quiet, no clicking whatsoever. I would recommend this radiator to anyone that needs instant heat. My Elec. provider worked out that the Chico would cost 13p per hour to run and the 2 kw would be 26p to run so it also provides efficient and economy heating for me.

Small, dinky, and puts out a lot of heat. We needed something for our square kitchen that has an external door, a door into the hall and a door into the living room - and a pantry door. So not much wall space to put a heater. This little heater fits snugly into a corner. It takes the chill off the kitchen both morning and evening. I don't know the running cost but we've put it on a timer, it has a thermostat and according to other reviews it's economical.

Already had an oil filled radiator but at 1.5 kW it was all or nothing; could not be controlled on the thermostat and too expensive to run. This little heater does the job more than adequately, costs less to run, takes up less space and despite not having wheels is easy to move when cleaning. I have it on a timer so the room is cosy when needed. However the thermostat has no markings, so you have to keep adjusting it till the temperature feels right.

I use in an unheated spare bedroom (about 13feet square) and it has been great for that. It warmed the room noticeably within 5mins, on halfway setting. cable is short (1 m) and that there is no timer on the heater. Using an ordinary timer device plugged into the wall; and an extension cable. if the extension lead would be a trip hazard, you should give that some thought before buying this heater. Overall, for the money, a great little heater.

Bought to use in mobile home-effective heats place comfortablely -we close door in middle Cvan -then turn heater down to maintain temperture -fact low wattage not worrying bot cost running it long periods-cheaper than gas-dial/control cod be better small to read-red temp light goes on+off wen temp reached-you hav guess wat to turn dial to-lead cod be longer we use extension lead plug it in yes would recommend it for small areas great Cvan!

Shopped around and Argos was competitivly priced. For ease of collection I choose Argos, and if I had to return for any reason. Which I haven't as fire has performed very very well. I brought this for my daughter's small room but had to use it in an emergency in our much bigger front room. Even in a large room with door shut it gave out enought heat when on full. I also found it very economical to run. Well worth the money.

Working from home in my spare room during Lockdown I was either heating the whole house and getting too hot (not to mention the cost) or turning the heating off and getting too cold. I ordered this online picked it up the next day from Argos in Sainsbury's and it has been amazing. It has an inbuilt thermostat and is brilliant. Thoroughly recommend it. Used in a small single bedroom but gives off plenty of heat

Brought this on strength of reviews and very satisfied with it. Pleasantly suprised by amount of gently warmth it provides. Love the simple design.Unlike a convector heater it does not have a back or front as such so can be positioned with controls to the left or right. As I have heater near a socket I find short flex an advantage as it looks neat. Flex joins the heater on inside of foot control side.

This was recommended to me by a friend who had bought three of them, I can see why. It just works perfectly, is quite and efficient no trouble whatsoever and even looks nice.I've yet to get my electric bill but apparently they are very cost efficient as well, I'm sure my friend would not have bought three if that was not the case. Extremely light to move from room to room, I Would highly recommend.

Keeps a medium sized room nice and warm. We have the setting half way so I reckon it would even keep a larger sized room warm if it was on full. We bought this for our baby's room for winter as her room is above the garage so her room loses warmth through the night and it's fantastic, it keeps the room warm without drying it out like electric fan heaters can do. I would highly recommend this heater.
