I have this heater placed by the door between my lounge and kitchen diner and it is heating both rooms whilst on the eco setting. The timer is a real asset as i can turn it off when i go out and have it turn on so the house is warm when i get home and i can have it off at night and come on just before i get up so it is warm. I would recommend this heater the only thing i have to wait and see is how much electricity it uses in the winter. So far it is not using an excessive amount of electricity

I bought this for my daughter who has just moved into a house which needs central heating fitted. She has put it in the living room of her 2 bed house and it heats the entire house to a comfortable level. It has a digital thermostat with an eco function which helps her save energy and she can use the digital timer to ensure the house isn't cold when she gets in from work. It is a temporary measure but it has been a fantastic life saver coming into the colder months in the north of Scotland.

I got this as an upgrade to my 2kw oil heater and what a difference! It is far more efficient and with digital timer and thermostat setting allows it to be used far better! The design radiates heat better and the ECO mode is very useful! Mine didn’t smell much on initial use at all and certainly no ticking or clicking! Ok it isn’t cheap but with advanced functionality and 2.5kw it is well worth the extra initial cost! Oh and it’s actually on my boat so is the main source of winter heating!

I know this is expensive but I have a large open plan dining room and kitchen with vaulted ceilings and wanted a good heater and I have to say that this is an amazing piece of kit. It heats the whole area perfectly and looks good. It is heavy, I wouldn't be able to carry it upstairs but I got it in from the car. It's just a case of getting it out of the box and straightening the castors. I haven't set the clock properly as its a bit confusing but that's just me. You won't be disappointed!!

Recommended by a friend, I bought this oil filled heater for our 5 x 3 metre conservatory which is east facing so on the cool side of the property.. In winter, the conservatory was like a fridge. Our convector heater warmed up the air but made it feel very dry and heat was quickly lost. The oil filled heater is set at 17 degrees which keeps the room at a very comfortable temperature constantly. In Autumn/Spring we'll turn the heat up to use the room more but 17 degrees Is great for winter

This radiator is expensive, but reflects the quality and features of it. It is a really effective heater; the 'chimney' system really works. Much better than cheaper radiators I have. I have no qualms about the price. The controls are good but leave you wondering why they are the way they are. There are two time period settings for when the heater comes on but you can't set individual temperatures. Between those times the heater is off. Or you can set a minimum temperature.

1 - This De Longhi radiator is an excellent well built attractive looking product2 - It is worth paying the extra for 2.5kW as the room heats a lot faster and there is a comfortable even temperature in the room. We have no noise issues with this radiator3 - Be aware that the two dials, numbers and the markers (unlike the older model), are in silver- numbers and marker lines are difficult to read.4 - Very easy to assemble and operate. Included is a clear instruction leaflet

I bought this to use in my conservatory as it can get cold in winter. Its very easy to set up and its warm enough for me on medium level, you got low, medium and high for the heating level. Trust me you only need medium in a standard room. Very quiet the heat is not overpowering, just nice and comfortable. I haven't try the timer yet i highly recommend this heater, you might think is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for and De' Longhi is a name to trust for quality.

I use this to take the chill off the air in the garage, it does that well. I'm confident it would heat a good sized room if called upon to do so. I monitor the energy with a smart plug so I can see what it's costing me (it's reasonable for what I use it for). Controls aren't the most intuitive, they have an ECO mode which sounds nifty but it's really just selecting the 'low' setting! It would be nice to see IoT integration of some sort at this price point.

Our boiler had broken down and we needed a good heat output. I bought a Dimplex but found hardly any heat coming off and no difference between the output of high/low settings.I replaced it with the De'Longhi - what a difference! Immediate warmth and the the output was so easy to adjust.A fabulous radiator - I'm sure all the De'Longhi radiators would be excellent performers. If you need an oil filled radiator for any reason, I recommend these.

I absolutely love the heaters I purchased two one for upstairs the other downstairs I live in an all electric place so no gas heating the house would freezing in winter, I found out I only needed one of these oil heaters as they are so very powerful the heat travelled upstairs from the one in my front room. It has easy to set up instructions great Eco settings a timer setting too, the best investment I’ve made in years from a very happy customer

Delongi is a really good solid heater/ a very modern digital fire -this is the third one I have purchased from Argos and I have never had any problems not like the one I purchased - the wheel fitting broke they were so small,..Argos were brilliant & exchanged it the sameday..for the Delongi.my Delongi has solid fitted wheels! The old adage is right "you get what you pay for"Thank you Argos for sorting my problem out so quickly & efficently.

Bought in an emergency due to boiler breakdown in freezing weather. Arrived in 4 hours from Argos. It heated a 22ft living room quite comfortably. I had it on full for first 2 hours as instructed and the room temp rose to 24C, had to turn it down. Very useful thermostat, ECO settings and timer functions. Really impressive heater considering it's comparatively small size. Highly recommeded to have on standby in case of central heating breakdown.

These heaters are just the job, they heat up a medium sized room on low power in no time!they are also very usefull if you don't have central heating, especially with the timer, can be timed to come on and go off when required and also there's the advantage of being able to move them around where as central heating radiators are connected to the wall, these are a great alternative to central heating and I would highly recommend!

4.11.2016

I bought this as a bit of a panic buy as my central heating recently packed up.I decided getting a decent oil filled heater would be a good investment.Getting it going was very easy, and it kicks out a lot of heat, maintaining the temperature well even in the big 30m2 room. It does click and bang a bit when warming and cooling and its expensive but with a whooping 10 year warranty I hope it will be a good long term investment.
