I really like the design and usability of this kettle. I love how the lid pops up so you don't have to wrestle with getting a lid off and the sturdy shape of it.If I was going to improve it slightly I'd make the fill level easier to see as it's under the handle, although this would probably compromise the sleek design, so it's bit of a trade off. Also if you regularly make small cups of tea for one person, the minimum fill level is quite high due to the shape, but in our house it works well.

The rounded shape, shiny white colour with stainless steel parts is an attractive addition to the kitchen. The handle is comfortable but may not suit people with small hands as it’s quite chunky, if overfilled. The squatter body makes filling it easier than taller versions. The spout is generous enough to fill without opening the lid and doesn’t drip. It’s quiet enough to be able to listen to the radio when boiling. Very pleased with the price offer and aesthetically pleasing to look at.

Stylish and functional, this is a great kettle. I have a small kitchen and limited work surfaces; the wider base of the design takes up a little more space than my previous kettle but that is the only possible 'negative' for me. Totally get what has been said in other reviews re might be good if cable was white not black but this doesn't bother me (which I am surprised about as was not sure if to buy because of this). Very happy with purchase and was a great price when I bought it.

This kettle is great. You fill it with tap water, ensure its plugged in, flick the switch and a minute or so later you have boiling water, for all your boiling water needs. It looks good but will probably need a bit more wiping than others, being white. I got the matching toaster and also a De'longhi espresso machine, they look good together and are quality products. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a bit more than an own brand one that will not last as long.

Love the design & colour of this kettle. Suits my kitchen perfectly. Easy to lift the lid using the button on the handle & fill with water from the tap (with my old kettle you had to struggle to remove the lid, which was quite often very hot). Only problem is that the water gauge (showing how full it is) under the handle, so you can’t see the gauge while you’re holding the kettle to fill it (bit of a design fault), but that’s a minor quibble. Overall I love it!

It's built well and has a positive click on the on/off switch. The lid opens nicely and overall looks stylish It boils quite a lot of water when you fill it up, which we rarely do so ask yourself if you need a kettle like this!The fill graduations are on the back of the kettle and not too easy to see. We tend to just look in from the top as it's being filled. We not had it long but it's been trouble free so far.I'm happy to reccomend it.

We seem to have gone through several kettles in the past few years - some dearer some cheaper. However all had faults or flaws. This one seems better. It boils quickly but quietly, does not leak, switches itself off promptly when boiling, filter does not detach itself and the light indicating that it is switched on shows clearly. The only minor fault is that I found it difficult to see the water level - but it may be the lighting in our kitchen.

I’m very happy with my upgraded version of this kettle.“ I had the old style - Same shape (delonghi) and the hard water left limescale on the outside. Making hard to clean . Made from steel in black / Chrome.”The new version has no chrome at the top to leave limescale.The kettle lid is very easy opening soft release button. Made with plastic - stays lovely and clean. I’m impressed with my upgraded kettle.

I brought this as my last kettle would not turn off it's nice smart looking kettle holds a good amount boils quickly 2 things not so keen on is can't really see the water level very easily as it's right under the handle strange place to put it and if you boil it then a few minutes later the metal bit on the handle get very hot it was in the sale so can't complain too much but would not pay full price for it

It's not an LED emblazoned attention w****. It boils quickly, quietly, looks good and the only LED is rather beautifully secreted within the on switch. I just wish the translucent plastic was manufactured with perfect symmetry.As others have said the fill level window is obscured partly by the handle but mainly by your fist while filling from the tap which is somewhat irritating.

Got this one as a replacement for my Russel hobbs kettle as the spout used to drip when pouring, when unpacked was really happy with design, it's quieter than my old one and boils roughly same time, there is no illumination and the water indicator is behind handle so you have to view from a slight angle but overall its a kettle and it does its job well and looks great in kitchen

Thanks Argos for your prompt service in getting this kettle so speedily to a collection point. We had ordered from another provider, who had not delivered the same kettle six weeks later, by which time our old kettle was leaking very badly and probably dangerous. Your great service is really appreciated and I will use you again in the future.

It never easy choosing the right kettle, for some reason we never have much luck with kettles. This one is perfect. Feels very well balanced and pours a dream.Boils really quick and weirdly quiet too. I would say, being white, would suit any kitchen, so don’t worry about it fitting in with your decor. Hopefully, this is the one, we’ll see?

Our old Delonghi kettle had served us well, so it was time to renew it. We have a Delonghi toaster too, so we needed to make sure the new kettle matched with it. This was perfect. It's also quieter and boils quickly. I love the LED light on the on off lever. Overall, it's a great value and great looking kettle, highly recommended.

The kettle works well, opens easily to fill, boils fast and holds a lot of water. However, it looks a bit 'plasticy' which I wasn't expecting from the photos. The boiled water also tasted a bit plasticy for about a week, but now it seems fine. It's a nice kettle for the price, but I would buy a metal one next time.
