This heater is capable of keeping a medium sized room at a steady warm temperature.The thermostat control measures room temperature and switches the machine off and on as required. Combining the levelling effect of the hot oil and the 3 heat settings no more electricity is used than needed. It is silent apart from when the thermostat clicks in or out.When sitting near it a bit of radiant heat can be felt but its action is mostly convection which spreads the heat across the room. Very good!

Got this for my mom to give her some extra heat during the winter months.Its easy to use and has a thermostat control so the heater switches itself on and off when the chosen heat level is met.This heater is on wheels so can be moved around to different rooms. It can be a bit awkward to move over carpets but not too bad. Its electric so you need to have an accessible socket too in the room it is in.All in all a good heater which my mom is very pleased with (that's the main thing)

This product was purchased for an elderly family member who needed an inobtrusive yet powerful and versatile heater to rent his annex. This ticked all the boxes. It's heat out put is adaptable and powerful and heats a large area. The build is substantial but not bulky and is movable easily when needed to be repositioned. The heating switches are easily visible even for the partially sighted. Yet this is not an old persons heater per se. It is modern, great to look at and suites most decors.

Heats the room really quickly, our lounge is a good size so it was a surprise it went so well. There is a little smell when it heats up but this is normal for new oil heaters. The three heat settings are good although it would be useful to know what the temperature for each setting is, it's just numbers and the instructions don't tell you so it's based on room feel. (Warmth etc). Based on my electricity supplier this will cost an average of between 15 and 20 pence per hour to run.

Waiting to get our heating system repaired I decided we needed some sort of heater (just for one room, luckily) in what is already a cold autumn.I chose this one, although slightly more expensive than others, because De"Longhi has a good name and my faith was fully justified. The area we needed heating is effectively open plan so I did wonder whether any radiator would be up to the job - but it is absolutely brilliant. It reaches required temp. quickly and keeps the room comfortable.

A great oil filled radiator that does a great job of heating a medium sized room, even on the low settings. Can choose from 3 settings by simply selecting the 2 switches on the side, both will set to maximum. There's also a round dial just above the switches to help get the right temptature, 2 seems warm enough. There's a thermostat, so no need to worry about it getting too hot or being left on for to long, will cut out when the selected room temperature has been reached.

I had originally bought this 2kw Oil Radiator from another store, and I returned it due to repetitive strong noises. I bought it again from Argos, and overall, I am very happy with the product. It is well-made, good looking and brings a smooth and nice heat to the house. However, it does make some cracking noises sometimes (not too often), but they are not as strong this time, and they do not bother me. If you only use the one switch (for either MIN or MED), noises stop.

I purchased this heater for my static caravan, am over the moon, keeps all 35ft comfortable in the recent cold spell, heat settings work well, it's neat and tidy, power lead is a bit short, 2 ft more would have been good for my use, wheels are great but there is a fault, no place both ends to hold for moving it , runs on oil cloth lovely but carpet is a problem, there is no timer this does not matter to me, I am happy with my purchase.I would recommend this heater.

I collected my Radia Radiator from the Kings Lynn store where it was ready for me to take away. This may sound funny but the box was in perfect condition which tells me my product has been handled with care, the most important factor to me. The radiator is more expensive than some but boy does it warm our bedroom up. I pull the door too and leave it on for an hour and the room is lovely and warm. With a 5 year manufacturer guarratee what more could you want.

It's a brilliant heater!Heats up quickly, releases a lot of heat and it's economical. The radiator has three degrees -1100 and 900 kilowatts and both- 2000KW. We always use only one-1100 and our lounge is warm enough. This is our second De'Longi oil filled radiator. The first one is 1500 KW for our bedroom and we were so charmed that in a week we took the same model but a more powerful 2000 KV for our lounge. It's absolutely the best oil filled radiator!

Really pleased with this heater, not the cheapest, but worth the extra few pennies.Once it reaches the temperature you set for the room, the temperature stays put. I’m using this in a room appx. 4m x 6m (I know! Check me out in my palatial crib) and it’s only had switch 1 on and thermostat at around 2-3.This would cosy up a much much bigger room than this in my view.Why not five stars? No timer. Did I need one? Not really.

Excellent oil heater - it is easily powerful enough to provide heat to a potting shed while we work and keep it from dropping below 5C overnight without being stupidly expensive to run. Other pluses are it heats up very quickly AND silently.While twice the price of the cheaper ones it is far superior and I suspect will work out cheaper in the long run due to lower electricity bills.Definitely recommended

I agree with other positive reviews for this product. It heats fast, is easy to move around on its casters and has three different levels of heat with the two switches provided. Also, the thermostat is useful to avoid overheating the room. I use it in a large room and avoids having to heat the whole house during mild weather or during the day. Design is good too, especially the large heating surfaces.

It's smaller than the previous one we had but that was an old brand and broke down. Happy to have a 5 year warranty with this one so peace of mind. Heats the room well. It does make some cracking noises if it's been on all day and I suddenly turn it off but doesn't bother us that much. Overall seems quite reliable and does the job. The cable is quite short though so make sure you have a plug nearby.

I purchased two of these heaters for our 16 x 13' conservatory to replace the convector heaters as we have young children and the exposed elements were a definite 'no-no'. The performance of the heaters is so outstanding that I only need one heater, set to 3 , to keep the sizeable conservatory at a constant 20degrees even when it's 0 degrees outside. Now thinking what to do with the second one!
