We have had this fire installed for a few weeks so are becoming used to it. It fits well into an existing fireplace and the black surround matches well.Would have preferred a remote control but this is not critical. Two levels of heat and a standby fire effect without the fan. It was well packed except for the dreaded polystyrene...Simple to install and light enough to place without scratching the surrounding tiles. Straightforward instructions etc.We are very pleased with this purchase at a very competitive price.

The Danesbury Electric Fire is an excellent unit to slot straight into an old fireplace opening and look absolutely great. I can recommend it to anyone without reservation.

Very pleased with this fire .Looks good although flames a little frantic! It was easy to fit & have managed to hide the cable.

As people say there is a slight hum when using the flame effect but I still love it. Heats the room very quickly.
