After having tried them without having tamed them, I can assure you that they are very comfortable, they adapt perfectly to the foot and do not rub. They are really waterproof. The only downside for putting some is that I have tried them in summer and they give the feet a lot of heat even with thin socks, without actually cooking them, so it would be better to use them for less hot times.
