My second bottle, purchased to make up for a hugely disappointing 14yr Balvenie Caribbean Cask (hugely overrated and overpriced). I wanted something special, and picked this up on offer, remembering how much I had enjoyed my last bottle. Not quite on a par with the 18yr, but not far short. Wonderfully smooth with a rich palate that matches the inviting deep amber (unlike the Balvenie, which promises much but delivers very little). For me though this one shines through on the nose and finish, both equally rewarding. Complex, rich and very, very satisfying. Add a dash of water to open it up, sit back and enjoy. Just don't expect the bottle to last long.

First the whisky . Very good indeed. Lovely nose, superbly complex and moreish with loads of lingering flavours of fruit and wood. No alcohol after punch on the finish either. A real traditional Speyside flavour. I will replace BUT only st the right price. £44 is the price to show the discount from. If you see at £33ish grab it. Only loses a star because of its artificially inflated RRP. Given there far inferior malts at this price point (cough !! Dalmore cough!@) I highly recommend this whisky . For me a great Autumn dram to be enjoyed on the start of the wind and rain with a great movie in the warm.

This is a really nice Whisky. It's very smooth as you would expect for being 15 years. It has a lovely oak taste. A good spice and not so sweet. For the money I think there are better Whiskys I.e belvinie double cask or Aberlour 12 (the reason I say this is due to the lack of flavours. It's quite a simple whisky). But I would strongly recommend this whisky as it is still one of my favourites. It's not harsh and is very easy to drink.I would say it's a solid 4 stars

I got this one for around £35 and I find it hard to fault. It's a classic scotch for the refined gentleman with a little twist from the wine cask (limousin if I remember correctly). The wine cask to me doesn't dominate the whisky but you can pick out each flavour it brings. If you like good scotch is highly recommend it, if you haven't tried limousin cask finish, I'd recommend it, if you like sherry or other wine cask finishes I'd recommend it.

I bought this for my husband as a father's day present. He loved it, really good wisky but after I ordered it I recieved an email saying that the delivery would delay and I would get it on the 4th of July so I ordered a different one and I also recived this one on fathers day before I cancel the order. That's fine in a way as my husband is happiest after 2 bottles of wisky.

Loved it very good worth the extra few quid from your typical everyday bottle ie £30-£40. Lovely malt very smooth and really nice flavours! Rich in sweet textures not at all TCP medicine that you get from Peaty whiskey like lafroig NO NO, this is a better class. Open sit back and wonder if you can justify the cost weekly.

I’m a complete whisky amateur. A friend introduced me to monkey shoulder which I like but wanted to give a decent quality aged single malt a try. I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth it is. No harshness, very rounded. No ice or water necessary. Great flavours and very drinkable.

I bought this for my fiance as he loves glenlivet whiskey and this is one of his favourite ones.I tried it and whilst I'm not a whiskey drinker as such it is a nice tasting whiskey and is smooth and fill of flavour.Good quality at a nice price.

This whiskey has a flavour that few drinks can compare with. This is not just a drink but it is an experience of flavour. An explosion of subtlety, where varying flavours rise and fall in an experience that is incomparable.

Lovely clean Speyside whisky best appreciated on the rocks. Light and smooth top notes with more complex flavour underpinning it. Very easy to drink and can be used as a mixer. This was 2nd bottle I have purchased.
