Bought this clock to replace one which had failed. This radio far out performs old one . It is very well made -solid & non plasticky ! The clock also gets ten out of ten as it sets itself after power has been turned back on -very useful when you have other things to do. The display is clear even without specs . The radio if used as alarm has good clear sound and would wake you . All the buttons & switches are solid & feel positive -nothing tinny at all. The whole product is worthy of the five stars given & the reliable Roberts brand name . Well done Roberts designers & manufacturers . Thank you.

I am very pleased with our new clock radio. The time display is large and clear, and the brightness can be set to low or high. I like the two alarm settings (weekdays, and weekends) and find them much easier to change than on our previous unit. We did have to fiddle about with the aerial to get a good radio reception on BBC4, but we do live in a remote area, and other stations came in clearly without any effort. Very happy with this purchase!

Can't understand what some other reviewers of this clock radio were belly-aching about. It's certainly the best one I've ever owned. The display is not too bright as some have claimed but the numbers are big and clear, which is just what is needed so you don't have to reach for your specs in the dead of night. The sound is good, it's easy to operate and it looks great.

A good quality item which is easy to use and sets itself up when it is plugged in. Switching between wave bands has to be done manually but as I listen to only one station while I nod off that's not a problem for me, and there is an alarm system which can be configured for most needs. It has a large dimmable display which shouldn't keep you awake all night!

Great product. Bit biased as I already have 2 of an earlier version of this clock radio. Bought this as a replacement for one not Roberts, and one that doesn't put itself right when electric failure or change of daylight hours. Easy to set. Love two alarm time sets. Very clear readout that can be dimmed if too bright, love it.

Bought as an Xmas present for my mother (70+). Just plug it in and it sets up itself up. All i had to do was tune the radio. Nice big display for the time and handy little indicator lights to tell you what day it is. Sound is good quality too!

Very pleased with this product, looks good aswell , simple to use, very good value for money , I would reccomend this radio clock to anyone. It is the best radio alarm that I have come across so far.

A great radio/alarm, this is the second one i've bought. The first one over twenty years ago and the lighting department gave up but the radio was still going strong.I would certainly recommend it.

The only criticism that I have is that even on dim the TED display light is still to light. The radio is superb and everything else is bang on shame it is like a light being left on in the bedroom.
