Overall a really good alarmclock, easy to use, and nice design.It is not a fancy alarm clock, but good and solid, and exactly what I needed.The Buttons on the Philips Digital Turning Clock Radio is a little small, (expect the snooze, which I never use) and black, so it requires light when you set the alarm, however when this is done, you don't have to set the alarm every day - as it remembers. There's 2 alarm functions aswell, so at times I put one on radio and the other on normal beep.The volume is a little low, but loud enough to a medium size bedroom. The display can't be dimmed, but that is fine, as the display does not light up the room.The fm radio catches the radio stations really well,

Bought this as our previous alarm clock had to be repositioned away from the bed, so you couldn't see the time during the night without sitting up. This clock is great, big red display that doesn't light up the room, twin easy to set alarms, and great sound for a small radio.My only complaint is that there was no 'grippy' underside, so the radio would slide around on the table when being set, however this was easily sorted with some self adhesive patches. For the money you can't complain.

Honestly, I read the reviews before purchasing this Radio Alarm Clock, some of the negative reviews I completely disagree with. It does not look tacky whilst on the side of the bed, in fact it fits in looking rather sleek and stylish. Yes, the buttons maybe a bit fiddly but they do the job they're intended. The instructions are in picture format but myself being 24, they are easy to interpret and allow you to begin setting your alarms(2), time, radio stations(10) etc. Waking up to music!

The clock is very accurate and it is pleasing that it has a 24 hour option instead of that antiquated am/pm which my previous one had. It is easily read in the dark. The alarm is reliable and the radio works well. On the down side, I found the instructions for setting up the time, alarm and radio to be somewhat inadequate, and I had to call on my son - who is more au fait with this type of equipment than me - to help. However, he managed it quite quickly and all is now working well.

Bought two of these to help my mother-in-law remember to take her many tablets each day. She has four times a day to take them, but can never remember or has fallen asleep anyway.These clock radios are ideal for setting a continual alarm that will reset for the next day at the touch of a button. We don't bother with the radio, so I can't comment on that, we just use the buzzer.Each clock has two alarms, hence me buying two clocks.It works brilliantly. Think I'll patent the idea!!

Seems a bit flimsy (as compared with a previous clock/radio) it suits my bedside cabinet. Am still getting used to the position of the on/off switch as was used to just leaning over on my old one and locating without trouble. The on/off switch is very near the button for tuning and I have inadvertently changed channel instead of on/off as the button isn't particularly raised. Just what one is used to I suppose. But I would recommend for the purpose of a bedroom clock/radio.

Nice looking little clock. Lightweight. Good FM radio reception, tuning into many stations. Initial time setting was easy, but setting up the radio stations was a bit fiddly and was not totally clear in the instructions. Alarm setting is straightforward, and you can put two different alarm times in the memory. Mono speaker, so not brilliant sound quality for general listening. Overall satisfactory and better than the other cheaper models we have had before.

I am really happy with the radio alarm clock. The sound quality is good, but not incredible - I reckon that is because I'm so used to my digital radios now. The set up is really easy, but I had to look up the manual online as it was not clear from the instructions provided. I would definitely recommend as it is really easy to use, a great alarm with increasing sound on the radio to wake you up gently and the perfect size for what I was looking for.

Overall I am pleased with the clock radio alarm. Because of its neat size the sound quality is not as good as the radio it replaces but is nevertheless acceptable. The pre-sets could be a little easier to operate as they only go upwards from 01 to 10 so require several presses to get to the station you want. Otherwise it is very easy to operate. There is only a 30 minute alarm period unlike other radio alarms which are for 60 minutes.

I recently purchased this alarm clock for my husbands birthday, I read some reviews online and this sort of met my expectations with the fact that you could set the alarm to the radio or a built in music alarm. Hubby loved it and the numbers on the front of the clock are bright and large enough to see especially in the night. I would definitely recommend to a friend, as the clock is a nice colour and a really nice size, not too big...

I purchased this model as my current one does not have a back light. The screen illumination is not too bright at night and the sound quality is rather good. Set up is easy and reception is straight forward. As other people have mentioned, the overall product is quite small, so if you are limited for space it would be perfect. The screen itself can be seen clearly from a few metres away, so size is not an issue.

the brightness of this alarm clock is perfect. Not too bright and not to dim. Other alarm clocks purchased and returned were just too bright. It was like having a red lamp on. But this Philip clock was just right. The alarm function is good in that it has two options of alarm or radio. Also there are two alarms. So handy if you have different shift patterns. The radio sound is sufficient enough to wake you up.

Had years of reliable use from the old one so decided to replace like with like. Love the new digital tuning - a vast improvement. Other new features are the ability to store programmes in a memory and select them with the touch of a button, and the ability to set his and hers alarm times. Tone and volume are good so looking forward to the same long life I had from the old model. Price was very good too.

I was a little dubious at this item as it was relatively inexpensive compared with others out there. But, I have been pleasantly surprised by this great little alarm clock. With 2 separate alarms making it impossible to oversleep, the radio quality is superb (I haven't used the alarm sound on mine but my husband has the same clock and his wakes him up without fail). Easy to use. Very reliable brand.

Needed a simple clock radio as a back up in case my phone alarm let me down. I like the look, it’s very easy to set up. My only criticism is that it’s very light, it doesn’t feel well planted to the table. I haven’t put batteries in, just using off the mains. I have knocked it a couple of times and it has fallen off the side table easily BUT it still works perfectly so it’s well built!
