Compact & ideal if space is limited. The auto dimming function is good but maybe too good as hard to read in the dark. Sound quality is commesurate with size but good enough although we've found it hard to get a consistent DAB signal. Biggest gripe is array of buttons on top of the device off which one is the off button indistinguishable from the others and in use we'd found it useful if if was more prominent. Does anyone need 3 alarm settings? And reactivating a stored alarm seems a bit clunky

I hate alarm clocks that are instantly loud and shock you awake as well as giving you a heart attack, so I chose this alarm as it has a beeping tone, it starts very quiet & slowly gets louder, or you can set the volume for the radio instead. The display at night auto dims. It is very simple to set up as well, i've not read the instructions at all and instantly figured out how to set it up.Other than the sound quality which is quite poor for a Pure radio, I would definitely recommend this clock.

Overall I'm happy with this clock radio - tuned automatically without problem and seems to get a good reception with the dangly wire aerial even tho we're in a poor signal location.Alarm set up is not quite intuitive but certainly not difficult - with clear instructions. Sound quality is not hi-fi but pretty solid. The display is big and bright tho it would be easier to read if the digits were just a bit smaller and spaced apart more. And the alarm comes up slowly and wakes you gently - nice!

The Pure Siesta Rise radio alarm clock is neatly designed, well made and works excellently. Shows we Brits can still design well.Setting up would be easier if the manual was better, but with persistence the remarkable number of options available can be navigated and whatever suits you best selected.The FM radio is OK but the digital radio is superb. I've set it up for my daughter to be woken at different times on different days, and could choose different stations for each wake-up call.

The PURE products seemed the best designed for their price range. The Siesta Rise has plenty of functionality without the extras - but be aware of two things. Bit tricky at first to work your way around the functionality for setting alarms etc, so keep the leaflet handy! Only disapointment is the brightness of the display. It has a built in light sensor which dims in dark settings (sleeping) so it's actually quite hard to see during the night. And you can't adjust the settings for this. Shame.

Atracted by the design and for me it works perfectly. Quick to setup both radio & the 3 alarms.Not used FM but DAB reception as good as other DAB radios in the house, not a huge fan of the trailing wire that serves as an aerial but once its gets tucked out of sight. Sound good for a single speaker, goes loud if you want it to! Importantly the display can dim very low so no lighting up the room at night! Also, has a USB port for phone charging - you can't expect much more from an alarm clock!

My previous radio alarm clock kept losing time in spite of being plugged into the mains. It was annoying me so I decided to replace it. I already have a PURE digital radio which I love so I decided to choose a PURE alarm clock. This product is stylish and looks great on my bedside table. You can set different alarm times for weekdays and weekends which is useful and the USB socket at the back is a great feature as I no longer need to unplug something to charge up my phone. Fantastic product!

Despite other reviews I found this very easy to set up without any instructions, the buttons on the top are self explanatory. All set up, channels stored in minutes. Sound quality brilliant looks smart and is a good size. Only thing that lets the clock radio down is the automatic backlight dimmer, When it's dark the clock face dims far too much to the extent you can't see the time at all, which makes checking on the time during the night, early morning when the room is still dark impossible.

If you want a DAB radio then this is pretty good. If you want a really clear and stylish digital clock then this could be it. If you want an alarm clock that can wake you gently or more insistently with the station of your choice on one of its THREE seperate alarms, which can save a lot of time for some people who set a different time for weekdays and for each Sat & Sun, then this IS the alarm for you. The price may seem high but the quality and sound is very like "Bose" in my opinion

Sound quality is good and I was very impressed by the ease it tuned into the digital stations. Minor drawbacks, mentioned in several other reviews, are the instructions can be somewhat confusing to follow, the time display does dim for a specific purpose but I was able to still read it myself, the lack of battery back up would be annoying in the event of a power failure and finally you need to remember the times you set for the 3 alarms as it does not remind you when you later use them.

I set up my preset stations and alarms within a few minutes. I love the fact that with each alarm you can choose weekday, daily, weekends or once, as well as different stations and choice of volume. You are awakened to the volume very slowly increasing. In sleep mode you can choose a different station and volume too. The display dims in the dark which is just right for me and comes with a usb port too.This is the best clock radio I have bought and I remain completely unashamedly smug.

Great little alarm clock with three alarms, so you can have one for weekdays, one for weekends and a one off one for a very early start. Radio comes on quietly so no early morning heart attack, and you can set the alarm volumes individually. It sets the time and scans for stations as soon as it's powered up. Sound is good considering it's mono, so far no squelching or cutting out. Alarm goes off after an hour, great if you go away and forget to cancel the alarms. Very pleased with it.

I love it, good volume, great stations & auto tunes. My only concern was if there is a power cut this clock has no backup batteries to keep it working & would I also have to reset the alarm times. Luckily enough I've had a 7 hour power cut, when power restored the clock automatically updated the time & the alarm times I had set up were still stored. The alarm can take a minute to get going as it gradually creeps up in volume but you can set your own maximum volume of what it reaches.

This a superb clock radio the build quality is excellent the slight drawback is as the clock radio is software controlled and you are impatient like me setting it up can be a little bit frustrating but once you have it all set up as you want it it is a brilliant clock radio the audio quality from the speaker is very good but the audio quality through the headphone socket is superb the clock display is brilliant with different levels of brightness and the tone alarm is brilliant it

This little DAB Clock Radio produces a very high quality sound for its small size. I just don't know how they do it ! The Clock dims at night, so there is no bright light in the room. The alarm is progressive and anyone would find it difficult to sleep through it. The radio station presets are just a little bit fiddly to set up, but once you've got the hang of it, it's fine. It is a fantastic little Clock / Radio. I liked it so much, that I bought a second one for another room !!
