I just want Radio 4 to give me the 7 am news on the dot and my Sony FM clock radio had trouble tuning with its silly little wire antenna (after the house next door was built). So I was a bit worried about whether the similar antenna on this would be OK. But it tuned immediately and strongly.So, first problem solved. Also I wanted to be able to override the auto dimness and go for a personally selected dimness if appropriate. That cost me about £50 extra over the next model down.Sound quality is a bit iffy – don’t try to listen to Beethoven’s ninth - but OK for my purposes. Can’t see me using the bluetooth, put it that way. Actually it's better with the ‘loudness’ turned off.Seems quite well made,

This is a really nice product. Easy to set up. DAB sound is excellent and the duel alarm feature allows weekend and weekdays to be separate, radio or buzzer and different volumes. Very versatile. The auto brightness works perfectly, I have seen some comments on it still being too bright in the dark, well, if that is the case yours is faulty. This is great, very low light in darkness, easy to read, but then you open the curtains and ...there it is ..clear as day. I highly recommend this product, very pleased and happy with my selection.

Très beau, livré avec différents types de prise donc celle pour la FranceLa notice a aussi une version FR. Celle sur le site Pure est plus complète mais celle livrée est suffisanteLes différents réglages sont super, notamment la gestion automatique de luminosité d'affichage vraiment superLa mise en route progressive de la sonnerie ou de la radio pour le réveil jusqu'a la valeur définie pour chacun des horaires est génialDu très bon matériel !

Great Product. Personally can't fault its quality or functions. The only thing I find that can't be justified is the price Pure want for it. It's too expensive!. Personally I think it should be sub £100. I sent mine back as soon as I compared it with my sons cheaper Pure Siesta Rise that he paid only £69.99 for. His doesn't have Bluetooth and only has 3 alarms compared to the S6 which has 4.2 times the price of the Siesta Rise??? Not worth it.

I bought this primarily for the autodimming light and it works very well. The lowest light setting is still a bit too bright for me but as the digits are lit and it is not back lit, it does not produce too much light into the room.The bluetooth audio is a bit hit and miss and the sound is good but not brilliant. Perfectly fine for a bedside unit though.Good feel on the buttons and great for the USB charging.

The radio alarm is compact, well designed, and the sound quality is good. I particularly like the automatic dimming so that in the dark the display is not too bright. However, the instructions are awful. Having them in 7 languages doesn't help, as there is insufficient space to write some clear guidance in English, so we are left to make sense of a few diagrams. The manufacturer could do a lot better.

The tone and sound quality is great, the clarity of the digital radio stations is exceptional, no interference at all. The manual explaining how to set up the various functions was a little difficult to understand at first, but after reading it a few times I understood, and was able to set up all the functions, like alarms, preset stations, sleep timer etc.

Although the initial set-up is a bit tricky (and the user guide isn't too helpful), overall I'm very pleased with this product. Regarding earlier reviews commenting on the display brightness, there's absolutely no problem with the model I've got so either my eyesight is better than I thought or Pure have fixed the problem. Would recommend.

I bought this to upgrade from a previous PURE alarm with iPod docking which was quite bulky. It's very easy to operate. I like how the alarm starts quiet and then gradually gets louder. The snooze function is great and easy to touch with your eyes still closed. It's also easy to sync and play music from my phone.

The best alarm clock-radio I have had, by miles. Top feature for me is automatic display light level.Put the bedside light out and light dims to gentle but visible level.Then alarm is easy to set, use and change. DAB works well without intrusive telescopic aerial.Sound quality good. Product feels good to use.

Super radio. Simple and stylish. Great ability to tune in to loads of stations. Bought it more as a bedside radio than an alarm clock so can't comment on that function. Guide terrible so go straight to download the manual off their site. Much clearer than what comes in the box which is incomprehensible.

Well built alarm clock, clear display, easy to set etc, adjusts to BST / GMT automatically (yay!!). The only negative is the poor sound quality, it's okay to wake up to but pretty naff if you really want it on in the background.

This clock radio is ok. Slightly different in design from my previous. It took me a while to work out the controls eg: tuning & presets.

Great clock radio although the instructions its comes with aren't clear. Much better ones can be downloaded from the Pure website

Loving this clock radio. Large numbers on the screen which I can see without my glasses. Great sound and easy to programme.
