I live in an area where electric power cuts happen on a regular basis, and more so in the winter.When I opened the box I was delighted at the size of this kettle, it is the same size as my electric kettle and so I can easily make 4-6 hot drinks at a time. The handle is very comfy and did not get hot, I was able to boil the kettle and take off the stove with no problem.The kettle is filled from the lid opening when the lid is removed, it is a firm fit. I used this on my butane gas cooker, so the same as would be used for camping. When it boiled the whistle sounded, not overly loud but loud enough to alert that the water is boiling.This is a really good kettle,

This item arrived safe and well packaged.I have always wanted a stove top kettle that whistles! I don't know what it is about using a device that stomps in the face of modern technology, but something really attracts me and many others!This particular model embraces those modern materials, like the silicone handle, to make things even more pleasurable. Which makes this a kettle you can easily live with every day. The copper colour and modern styling also make this look absolutely stunning!I would also note that the capacity of this kettle is huge! Perfect if you are regularly making a large amount of hot drinks.I highly recommend this product.

People do not seem to understand that products like this will be hotter and messier than a traditional plug in kettle. It looks wonderful, is well proportioned and holds enough water for coffee or tea for the family for breakfast. It obviously will take longer to boil and needs to be handled with care (no plastic bits) as you should only lift it from the top. If you respect those common sense instructions, this is a great product for those not in a hurry. You are looking at a few minutes to boil depending on how much water you put, but a little whistle and you are in for a different experience.

Good looking and very practical, something different from my ordinary kettle, easy to use just add water and place it on the top stove , when the water stars boiling the quick flip spout cap whistle to alert you that water is ready for use , the handle in covered in silicon except the sides where is a bit warm when used but not hot so used without any mittens , myself used on an electric cooker stove.The kettle is sturdy steel looking stylish with a capacity of 3 liters , well made and nice finish.

I absolutely love this kettle. It's so well made, really top quality materials, but not too heavy.Works great on my ceramic hob and also my induction hob too. The best thing is the whistle noise, such a blast from the past.Im now using this kettle for camping. It works really well on a camping gas stove, boiling water super quickly, and giving me much more water than average camping kettles.Highly recommended.

When this arrived I knew my mom would love it ! I remember a fair few years ago she used to have one so thought I would tempt her back. It takes a little longer then a conventional kettle but you fill with water, place on the hob and it will let you know when it’s ready by whistling at you. Personally she loves it, but I’m one of those people who don’t like to wait haha. Great item worth the small price tag !

This is one stunning kettle, it fits SO nice in my new kitchen! I've always wanted a kettle like this but never felt my kitchen was nice enough (woman brain thinking) but we recently moved and I finally felt it was time and this is great, the build is very sturdy & strong and I ADORE the colour!!!!! Boils pretty quick I now love making the daily cuppa's :)

This kettle looks very stylish especially with copper colouring. Holds three litres of water so plenty to make a fair few cups of tea! Takes quite a while to boil on the gas hob and the handle does get very hot, but this is to be expected. Good, loud, whistle. Feels a little flimsy so time will tell how long it will stay looking good and last.

had Honest Dai's buttys over today!!Would you like a cuppa? I asked!Yes please they said ...... now usually my brain switches off and I forget the kettle has boiled and often their tea doesnt actually arrive!THIS DID NOT HAPPEN TODAY HARRAH!!!!!!the whistle blew and I made their tea...... This is beuatiffully made and is strong!

This is a nice classic looking kettle which is well made and boils fast on the gas hob we have. it whistles loud enough to know when its done and is easy to pour. the only downside is obviously youll need a mitt etc to pick up and pour the kettle as it does get rather hot compared to a plug in. nice classic simple design and colour.

This looks fantastic in our campervan - a real step up from the usual stove-top camping kettles. The brushed metal finish and heat-resistant handle make this a pleasure to use.My one issue for camping is the size - it is quite large and so doesn't fit into our cupboards very well. On the plus side, it has excellent capacity.

Got this for a pal of ours who lives on a narrowboat. He's chuffed, and likes it. A stove-top kettle, with no lead/electrical power. So kind of old school. But pretty contemporary in terms of styling, visually. Neither cheap nor overpriced. Fair value. As to longer term value? That remains to be seen...

I absolutely love this kettle ,it resides in my kitchen and it is so fast to boil on my induction hob. the red colour is stunning and the whistle brings back memories from my childhood. its loud enough to hear in the next room but not too loud .Pours easily and is lightweight when lifting

This kettle is perfect for the price. The whistle is loud and it looks very modern. I would say that the spout is very hot to touch when boiled so you do need to use a tea towel to protect your fingers but it doesn’t bother me that much. For the price, this is a good kettle.
