I love this kettle! I wanted a whistling kettle for our campervan travels and spent a lot of time checking reviews and looking at lots of different kettles. This one didn't have hardly any reviews at the time (probably because it had recently launched I'm guessing - you've got to start somewhere!), but I loved the colour so much and couldn't find anything comparable anywhere else, so I decided to buy it and see what it was like. I love it! It has a fold down handle which means it's easy to store. It's lightweight to hold and pack, but sturdy with a wide base. When it boils, it whistles and the flip lid on the spout just lifts up and you can pour yourself a cup of tea.

Just arrived and , well it looks better than I anticipated. Classy white and stainless steel make this kettle seem far more expensive than it was. Light but not too light, just the desired capacity I wanted . I only boil as much water as I actually need so it does it's job quite fast. The whistle is as loud as it should be unless left on the boil in which case it gets progressively louder. The lid is quite stiff but nothing an adult shouldn't be able to overcome. The handle does fold if you want it to but I for one am very happy with my new £15.99 kettle.

You know you're getting older when your new kettle arrives and you say "ooooooh"Comparing to my previous whistling kettle large sized LeCrueset on left to this new Typhoon on right (see photo). New one is much lighter and I think looks nicer with the chrome.It is the same litreage, whistles louder but that's perfect for me. Hubby agrees but don't think he said ooooooh as excitedly as me. :)Happy brewing peeps!

A good looking kettle, nice and light. It has a very wide base, so can be used on the large gas burner to boil water quickly. It does need to be tipped up a lot to pour the water, so not really suitable for very small amounts of water. Unfortunately, the paintwork has become quite marked - i assume by the gas flames. However, I am generally pleased with it.

First kettle did not arrive but my concern was quickly dealt with. A replacement was sent out as soon as the new stock came in, within a week or so. Kettle is lightweight for our caravan and I love the colour felt it was a little on the expensive side compared to others I could have purchased but it was the colour I wanted.

I bought this kettle for the new house I moved into in July, which has a gas hob. But when I moved in, I realised it has a Quooker boiling water tap - so I don't actually need the kettle, and have therefore never used it. It looks quite well made though. I've kept it in the garage and might use it on my next camping trip,

The folding handle was what was important to me, so it could fit in the cupboard, without me having to empty to it. The colour was a bonus, it's nice looking, however there was a chip in it though will go rusty if it got wet, but good old Amazon sorted it to my satisfaction.

The lid sticks its very difficult to open, the colour has faded a bit since using within last few weeks where the canisters are still the original colour. I still love it but just a few annoying things like fighting to take the lid off that stopped me giving the 5 stars

It is not as heavy as I thought it would be and it is quick to boil and it keeps the water hotter longer than my electric kettle. I like the fact that my cuppa tea is hot.Just beautiful going old school with my kettle brings back fond memories of growing up.

Beautiful kettle. Very lound. Light weight. Around 2 liters water load. Kettle cap is a bit hard to pull out sometimes, kettle handle is bendable, however the edge is quite sharp that needs attention to avoid get cut. Overall it is quite satisfied.

Bought for our motorhome and very pleased with it. The handle folds over so it’s easy to store away in small places. Just be aware that the handle does get a little warm though when the water boils. Other wise very satisfied with my purchase.

Heats up well and quickly on my induction hob. Only reason I've taken a star off is because the handle has discoloured after only a week. Has become a duck egg blue rather than baby blue. Not sure why?

Whistle nicely! Looks elegant with its soft cream colour that also blends in with my white kitchen accessories and appliances.NB. To prolong your kettle life use distilled, filtered or bottled water.

Really pleased with this kettle. Light weight, efficient and good looking. It boils so much faster than its very expensive heavy predecessor.My wrists are very pleased as well!

I bought this kettle to replace a 25 yr old grimy and now difficult to clean kettle, for my AGA. It looks great but it boils v slowly, even with a small amount of water
