The kettle was actually the more modern version of the pone shown in the picture. It is perfect for one or two people, but not 5stars, as it has two flaws, one major, one minor...It does not wistle, at least mine does not, as the lid is not a perfect fit (maybe mine was a 2nd, as it was really cheap).the major flaw is that you can not pour the water out without it dripping down the kettel bpottom, and all over the workspace (I now pour over the sink...) as there is no spout...I cut one, so it got better and I am sure I will solve the issue once I spend some time on it (and an even sharper knive...and sanding paper).So the bad stuff is out of the way, I love it...take it camping and use it at home,

All I needed was a lightweight kettle to use when camping overnight at horsey events. This is certainly lightweight.Filling is a little awkward, as the lid doesn't open enough to clear the spout, so it has to be held around 45 degrees. Similarly, when pouring it has to be almost upside down to fully empty as the spout isn't right at the edge.After washing out I put three mug's worth of water in, placed on a small portable gas stove on a low setting and it took just over 2 minutes to bubble, then get quieter and make the whistle sound. Having read some reviews that it has leaked or tasted strange, I've kept the heat low and have had no trouble at all.

My job takes me all over the Southeast of England. I'm glad to say that, so far, this hasn't happened to me, but every winter, an accident in bad weather closes a motorway somewhere: this can result in motorists being stuck for hours on end. A compact kettle, like this, is ideal to keep in the car for such a situation, along with a mug, camping stove, water, coffee, sugar etc; stores easily under the seat.Get ready for winter. A few inexpensive items makes all the difference if you're stranded in freezing temperatures!

This kettle is primarily for camping use, but I use mine in the kitchen, the bright red colour standing out proudly against the white surroundings.Living alone, the capacity is more than sufficient, it's as light as a feather, the handle does not get too hot & - best of all - I don't need to worry about yet ANOTHER electric lead overloading my poor, cluttered sockets.I am now going to order another two, to keep in reserve. I highly recommend this little gem.

This is a good little kettle.Light weight and holds enough water.Boils pretty quick which is a good thing.The plastic part that covers the spouthas a thumb section to press Spring loaded for water to flow,the Spring will fall out. The spring is not really needed.That plastic part is cheaply put together.The main part is great.The price is cheap.All in all I was glad I bought this kettle.

Haven't used it, but it's exactly as described, it's very cute and shiny! ❤️?My electric one stopped working, boiling in a pan isn't ideal, so ordered this for next time. Bought new electric one, got home, old one was working like I'd imagined it all ??. I now have 3 kettles! ? At least I'll be well prepared for the next time ?

sent this to my son who has had 2 power cuts over Christmas, he has not used it because so far no power cuts. I thought it would help to have one of these plus the small gas burner at least they can have a hot drink. A little query regarding where to post it too but it did eventually got there no problem. good buy so far

The camping kettle has a capacity of one litre which is the most useful for camping even for families, unlike the two litre versions seen in shops these days which are more likely to filled to a level greater than that required and will waste cooking fuel, which is usually at a premium.

I like it. I use it for heating water. I love hot water, if you like hot water I would suggest getting one. We also have a hot tap but this kettle provides hotter water. Myself and my family love this kettle with the exception of my youngest daughter who's really not interested at all.

not really a good whistler but that doesn't matter, I wouldn't leave it to boil on it's own anyway. I only bought one for when there is an electric power outtake so I don't get trapped without a brew waiting for the power to come back on.Does what it needs to do.

I bought this for our friends who wanted it for their caravan. They are delighted with it. Just the right size for two people. It was as described apart from the picture, which looks a darker red than it actually is, but they prefer the true colour so perfect.

It's a kettle! The whistle is not very effective on a camp stove, but it boils water OK. The whistle obscures the filler mouth slightly, so a bit tricky to fill from a cup. (might be important if you want to boil just the correct amount of water)

Bough this together with a portable gas stove so that we could have a nice fresh cuppa at the allotment whilst surveying our hard work (done and to come). It comes with a handy whistle that we can hear quite easily. Wouldn't be without it now.

this kettle is ok just don't overfill it as it will make a mess its only used for me so I don't have a problem oh and the picture is deceiving its more fire engine red than the colour on the box or in the advert.

Delivered very quickly and packaged well. It's just the right size for our fishing trips and doesn't take long to boil. Would definitely recommend for camping / fishing trips in the cold weather.
