A very nice lightweight walking boot. It appears to be very well constructed and is very comfortable. The first day I got them I went for a 2 hour walk in the Derbyshire hills and they were comfortable and supportive. I did test the waterproof claims and so far so good. The soles are good but I did notice that I could at times feel particularly small pebbles. Dependant on the terrain you're planning on walking this may need to be taken into account. The sole looks reasonable durable but I would suggest it's more of a grass,fire trail boot rather than a more rocky and stoney boot. I'm a dog walker so these should be fine for what I use them for but for more rugged rocky trails or ascents I'd suggest something with a more rigid sole.

You get what you pay for when it comes to walking boots. My first pair of Lowas (Mountain GTX) have lasted 4 years and I wear them everyday for work. This pair has lasted a month shy of 3 years of everyday use and now the soles are starting to wear through. To be fair they are still waterproof and comfortable and could go on longer but I can now start to feel the terrain beneath my feet.I am a UK 10 in trainers and shoes and these are no different in sizing. I wore these straight from the box with no breaking in too. Great quality boot from a well respected manufacturer.

You get what you pay for when it comes to walking boots. My first pair of Lowas (Mountain GTX) have lasted 4 years and I wear them everyday for work. The Inbox boots I purchased to walk 5.5km to the train station and for everyday wear. They took a little breaking in but they are warm, comfortable and waterproof. What more could you ask for. If you are a UK 10 in other Lowa boots then a 10 in these should suffice also. Brilliant boot, brilliant brand with top German quality.
