Tiny in size, it fits on our bathroom window sill perfectly and with the window only slightly open, it seems to get enough sunlight to charge its solar cells in one morning, even on overcast days. However, should sunlight fail, it can be wound up, which is how I originally charged it when it arrived. Reception - erratic in our previous, battery powered radio - seems reliable and remarkably clear for a device with such a tiny speaker.We are so pleased with this radio.

This is a fantastic little radio small enough to go everywhere and no messing about with batteries - a few wind-ups and the radio goes on for ages - or just leave it in sunlight and it charges up by itself. I feel like I'm getting great entertainment for nothing - best thing I've bought on ebay !

I particularly like the soft rubber type feel of the red outside casing. The size is just right for portability and its got a retro look to it. A little light shows up when you're using the manual wind-up. Frequency is clear to read and overall its a great little solar radio at a good price.

was really surprised at how powerful this little radio is. havn't really tested it's wind-up facility, but solar powered is great. really good reception of local radio stationsIdeal for camping or power cuts.

I was completely amazed by this tiny little Wind-up / Solar Radio!It's Tuner is excellent & the sound volume is almost too loud !Get one before Armagodon !

Pretty good radio and packs a punch with the volume, easy to handle lightweight and handy for holidays camping without the worry of batteries good buy .

Bought to go in the bathroom. It's small and neat, and the sound quality is perfectly adequate for this environment.
