I bought this radio as a birthday present for my husband back in August 2011. We did need to send for the extra part to connect it to our shower, but the part was free, easy to order and delivery was in 2 days.ProsThe radio took all of 2 mins to connect and worked brilliantly. The sound quality was very good, and although I have seen comments about the volume, I found it fine and never had to have on full volume (even with the noise of the shower and 2 screaming toddlers outside the shower cubicle). My husband was thrilled and so was I and would still have been more than satisfied if the product had been twice the price.ConsThe first radio we had lasted about a week.

Great concept and works pretty well. The auto-on feature (when you turn on the water) is a nice feature, and with the battery (see notes below) it continues to work after you turn off the shower.As per other reviews, I find that when you initially turn on the unit for each shower it will de-tune slowly after about 2-3 minutes, I just flick it up a station and then down a station and it holds steady until I turn it off. Additionally the rechargeable battery either doesn't charge or needs to be properly charged to begin with, without it you lose all settings when you turn it off/stop the water. I currently just use a standard AAA battery until I can try charging the supplied battery properly.

I read the reviews about this item and thought I'll give it a go. Delivery was superfast and the radio was easy to install, however the unit significantly reduced the water pressure, but after reading the instructions (something as a man I rarely do) I found that you could order a part for it to help this and it was completely free of charge. I emailed the seller on a Friday morning, received a confirmation email within hours and the item in the post the next day, now that's great service and it worked perfectly. I gave the radio 4 stars, overall it is a really good little radio and the only drawback is the volume/sound is a bit quiet.

It's a wonderful idea, with some flaws. It has worked for a couple of weeks and than had to recharge the included battery externally, otherwise it would just work for a minute or two. Also, the water stays at the speaker holes affecting the hearing, need to blow it off. Still, the best product in shower radios!

Really nice idea and it works well. Slight problem installing as the thread on our Mira Shower Mixer wasn't long enough to allow the plastic connector to be tightened. However there was an extra plastic seal in the pack and doubling up solved the problem perfectly. The radio works well and has good tone

I decided to give this shower radio a go - it is very easy to install . Sound is lound enough for a shower unit - and quite crisp. Water pressure is not reduced (especially is you read the instructions).Overall very good.
